IFS Cloud 24R2 - IFSADMIN Account Disable

Hi All,I recently performed an upgrade installation for a customer using version 24R2, and the installation was completed successfully. However, when attempting to log in to the application for the first time, it displays the message: "Account is disabled. Contact your administrator."  I have checked the account status from the database, and the account is not active. I updated the status to active by modifying the FND_USER_TAB table. However, I still cannot log in to the application. I’d appreciate any guidance, best practices, or documentation links you could share on this topic.Thanks in advance for your help!

APP10 Updates - For how long will IFS create new Updates for APP 10?

APP 10 end of extended support is March 27, 2028What is the Update-plan for APP 10 leading up to that date?Update 26 was released December 5, 2024. Will there be 4 updates released in 2025, 2026 and 2027 as well? What about 2028?Does anyone have any info on this subject ?

Error when running .\main.ps1 -resource 'KEY' in an Upgrade [Remote]

Hello Experts ; Regarding a remote Upgrade, I'm getting below error when running ‘’.\main.ps1 -resource 'KEY'’’ All these servers are remote customer servers Here They asked us to use a private key file when accessing Linux server from Management server   [We access the Linux host from the Management server using above private key method.]Cannot ssh into the Linux server manually from the Windows Management Server Could you please support to solve this issue.  BR!/Dilshan

Hello Experts ;  This is regarding creating the Middle Tier setup for IFS Cloud environment in a Remote customer Upgrade. - When running the command .\main.ps1 -resource 'KUBERNETES' to install IFS Cloud Middle Tier, getting the error as;  New-SFTPSession : Channel was closed.At E:\UPGRADE\ifsroot\utils\common.psm1:48 char:24+ ... Delivery Creation Failed - 24R2 Release Update

Hello All, We are currently in the process of upgrading from 23.1.11 to 24.2.0 through the Release Update Studio. We successfully uplifted the customizations, and the creation of the topic environment and the sanity build were both successful. However, the delivery creation failed due to errors in the standard objects.We have checked the log file and could see that there are numerous errors related to deploying standard core views/packages, even though the customizations have not impacted this area. We tried to deploy one of the errored standard API from Developer Studio by connecting to DEL env, and it got successfully deployed to database without any error (refer screenshot).Interestingly, the creation of TOPIC environments from the Release Update Studio was successful, and the sanity build performed just before the failed delivery creation also succeeded. Therefore, the delivery creation should have been successful, as it theoretically uses the same code from the repository.We are a

Problem with proxy config and ubuntu 20:04 and IFS Cloud

I was interested in finding out how people have handled the problem that the ova version of ubuntu which runs 20:04 has a version of libcurl that does not support CIDR notation, which means that we must individual ip addresses och not networks which would be much better ?Is it too much to ask that IFS updates the OS to at least 22:04 or higher or at least give us the chance to run a lInux distribution of our choice like Redhat Linux 8 or 9./Craig

Compare all modules stack vs what's available

Hi,I’m trying to see if there is a way that I can compare all the modules and sub-modules in the local enviroment vs the complete set of modules and sub-modules available. We’re on 23R2. I can get a listing of installed components in Installed Components. This is a high level view, though, and doesn’t have a sub module listing. How do I compare with the available components listing to see what we are missing out on and possibly items we need to purchase? TIA

Which IFS Environment to use for Configuration changes?

Hi,I have a question regarding best use of the IFS environments. Where are people doing configuration changes? eg. Lobby (Data Source/Elements/Pages) and Quick reports.  These activities require data. The DEV environment in Build Place which generally has a short life span does not hold data.  Are people repetitively populating DEV with data to facilitate report development or are people using a Use Place environment? eg. CFGGrateful for responses on how people are splitting their development activities in real world scenarios.Thanks

UPD Update changing Textbox Size

We recently update a SND and PPR (both non production) instances of IFS Apps 10 UPD 13 to 22. In both instances our textboxes on the Materials Tab of Prepare Work Order have altered and we have found no way to shrink them back to normal height for textboxes. Has anyone had this sort of issue or have a way to deal with it?Production (UPD 13): SND/PPR (UPD 22):

IFS Report Studio upgrades

Hi,I’m seeking some guidance on Report Studio. This looks like a good tool for working with report layouts within IFS Cloud. I have picked up that there might be some limitations when working with custom fields and possibly with printing of these .rep reports. Can anyone share their experience on these limitations?Also, I checked the 24R2 and 25R1 Roadmap and do not see Report Studio mentioned.  Should we expect updates to the Report Studio functionality in upcoming Releases and/or Service Updates?Thanks

Release Update 24R2- code upliftment issue

Hello,As we began applying the Release Update 24R2, we noticed that a new component, WRKTSK, has been introduced as part of this release. Several APIs (entities, utilities, and enumerations) have been moved from the existing WO component to WRKTSK.We have customized approximately 30 APIs from this list, and now we need to uplift these APIs from WO to WRKTSK. Could you please advise on the best approach to carry out this task?While using the Impact Analyzer tool, we noticed that the results don't provide sufficient comparison details (screenshot attached for reference).Additionally, we are unable to find a way to download all the core files of 24R2 to analyze how the WRKTSK files have impacted our customizations.Has anybody experienced similiar issues? Any help would be greatly appriciated.

IFS Release Update recommendations

Hi All,If I remember correctly , IFS recommendation is to be in the LATEST Release Update during the implementation phase and get a release update every 12 months after go live.Could anyone let me know the formal ifs link which explains this? I am pretty sure I have seen this but cannot remember where I saw it.

Keeping up with the Cloud releases, how is it going?

HiI’m interested to have an understanding of the everyday life after the move to Cloud version and how you keep up with the IFS releases and upgrades.Many customers seems to go the “update once a year” route to get to the latest release. Much depends of course of the scope you are using the platform for and how are the borders of each customer’s ICT systems set and integrated with each other.Our IFS scope is pretty basic, mostly finance/ERP with purchasing and project related activities and HR master system, adn we have just moved from Apps9 to 10.I’m interested of you who have already moved from different Apps-versions to Cloud or even you who have moved directly from other system to IFS Cloud, and your views about the adaptation to the new everyday life.What has changed in areas of the amount of IFS/partner support needed, the amount of your own work needed to keep up with the releases and even the spend changes for doing all of this.I’m having doubts we can keep it running efficient

I am encountering the following errors while testing connections in SSIS during the Power BI infrastructure setup in Azure for Self-Hosted BI.ORA-12170: TNS timeout occurredI have verified that there is no issue with connecting to the IFSINFO user.Connection to MSOLAP failed:Errors in the OLE DB provider. Unable to obtain an authentication token using the credentials provided.The script returned a failure result.I have attached a screenshot for your reference.Could you please help me resolve these issues? How to make a field clickable/redirectable?

Hello,In most pages, Main Representative is set us such that the text is blue, and if one clicks on it, it opens a new page with info of that person:I would like to do the same for Parent Company:I can’t figure out how it is done normally, for example with all those fields, where one can hold Ctrl + click to navigate to that page. Does anyone have any tips? 😊

In 24.1 DISTINCT no longer working in column definition of datasources

Hello all,We recently upgraded from 22.2.14 to 24.1.2.Our lobby datasources no longer work with a ‘DISTINCT’ in the column definition. They worked fine in 22R2. I tried adding a DISTINCT to a simple standard IFS datasource and it also did not work. All of the Queries seem to work fine in SQLDevelopper.Is DISTINCT no longer supported in datasource column definitions, or does it have to be implemented in a certain way? If so, what is the good implimentation method?Error message: Could not preview element. Make sure datasource is configured correctly and view is existing.Sample attached, but it could be any datasource.
