Our several customers use Oracle SE2 in IFS Cloud.
However the IFS Cloud 25R1 Deprecated Features Log announced that SE2 support will become deprecated starting with 25R2 on September 2, 2025, and EE will be mandatory.

Upon confirmation with IFS, we found that if SE2 remains unchanged, updating to 25R2 will result in compilation errors, and the update cannot proceed unless EE is used.

After explaining this to our customers, there has been significant backlash.

Being told this now makes it impossible to respond in time,
but couldn't such an important announcement have been made a bit earlier?
And are there any other customers experiencing difficulties?

We got similar questions from our customers - what exact (mandatory) functionality is used in 25R2 that does not exists in Oracle Standard Edition 2?
I was not able to find answers in IFS documentations.

It would be very interesting which features need EE. Also found nothing.
