We need to create a Custom Field for the EORI number and would like to know how to handle the fact that we require the following format: First 2 characters (Alpha)Next 12 characters (numeric) Would I have to create the field as a text field and then run a custom event to check that the contents meet the format?Can anyone please advise a better way?Thank you.

Hi, so I am trying to configure a “fruit table” which gives indication, what kind of fruits a customer processes. I managed to create a custom logical unit and create a “list” element out of it. The list contains out of two custom fields, one sort of  fruit and the other one of the customer id (which acts as the primary key). Also, I could install a master entity relationship to the customer crm projection, so that only the fruit are displayed, which have the matching customer id. However, when a new entry is done, the key must be primarily entered. Does Aurena support a function, that it automatically fetches the key mappings as IEE did it? I have not found this information in the technical documentation.  Thanks in advance for any hints, maybe somebody can point out what I am missing.

We are deploying CRM Companion 10 to our sales reps and they would really like (i.e. want) the mobile “Business Activities” screen to display activities in reverse chronological order.  They hate scrolling.  The default mobile app behavior is to show ALL ACTIVITIES from oldest to newest so they first see activities from 2018 and have to scroll endlessly to see their activities from this month or last month. Can the default sort be configured for mobile?  Of course, they also want some more filters like “Last Month” and “This Month” so they can quickly get to the info that they want to see easily without any thinking or effort...shamefully lazy users, lol!Much thanks, Tom Bowe

We have an issue where some users enter a wanted date in the customer order in the past ( 2020Instead of 2021!)perhaps I could create an event which fires a message to user? Would like to stop them altogether really so perhaps an event that doesn’t allow a past date?Any ideas?

Create a Customer Order for 100 unit. Release. Reserve 50 units. Create Picklist for reserved quantity. Shipment will be created. Do the Report picking of 50 units. From Shipment Window header => RMB => Print shipment delivery note. Delivery note will be created. It says 100 Delivered and seems misleading.

I want to change the translation of a field, but I don't know how to do it.In Report Designer I added the field ‘CUST_REF’. The default description is the same as the field above ‘CUST_REF’. How can I change the description of this field on this report?

I am not able to run the "Recalculate Price/Currency" on a Sales Quotation Line in Aurena (APPS 10 Update 10) or IFS Cloud. This option is available in IE, but I can't find it in Aurena when looking at the same Sales Quotation. I also checked the other options under the vertical 3 dots.Thank you in advance,SteveIE

Hello, I have noticed an issue with existing Sales Parts and I am unsure of the correct way to apply a % increase to the price. Initially, I assumed I could use the contribution margin on a Sales Quotation to accomplish this, however, if the part is existing in your system, that is calculated automatically. The scenario below outlines the issue I am facing:Existing part number XYZ has a Cost of $4.55 and a Price of $18.35 The system calculated Contribution Margin rate is 75.17% The customer has contacted us and stated they want 255 XYZ parts expedited and they would like to see a quote for this. We would like to add 20% to the price of the part for the expediting.  Our Sales team created a quote and modified the contribution margin. They changed it to 20%, which dramatically lowered the price.Modifying the CM does not appear to be the correct method to markup a price of an existing part in this insta

We have a scenario where product is sold to a customer which is purchased from a supplier and delivered direct. Our current crystal invoice print needs to be reference the purchase order number as that appears on the shipping document. What’s the best way to achieve this? Use an IAL? Or simply reference on the crystal report?  Thanks for help in advance

Hi, I would like to start using the Associate/Associate as Master functionality for Cases. Have tested some and do see I need more info to get it correctly done before start using it. Ex. can I associate a Case as a Master when I have created it or is the only way to Associate by right click the Case line under the Case Overview tab ? If I remove the Association the info in the Master field/column is sometimes not removed.  Do also see that Search window in Case heading and in Case overview are “bugging” eachother (if I add some fields in one it affects the fields in the other, and different ways each time, not possible to save the criteria without affecting the other, same thing happens in Global Solution window)Have tried IFS Application Help function online but without luck. Anyone that have found usefull documentation on this subject?

Hi, We have had a number of invoices created in the last couple of months with the incorrect due date, this was due to the reduced number of days in Feb skewing the system calculation which has now been fixed. Would it be possible to do a mass change of due dates of invoices in question. I have ran a debug whilst testing the due date amendment and found as expected that this can only be done when the Invoice is in ‘Preliminary’ status.  Most/if not all of the invoices are in ‘PostedAuth’ status. I am thinking that we could possibly achieve this using RMB > Customer Instalment Plan and DiscountsABSTRACT_PAYMENT_PLAN_API.MODIFY__ Would this work? John

We have a situation where a customer was cash in advance but they are now being granted terms. We entered in a couple of orders and created and posted Advanced Invoices, we cannot release the orders now due to the advanced invoices. Is there a way to cancel advanced invoices? 

We use IFS Sales Quotations. Sometimes when we are printing them sharing internally, we need the price figures in it (Price, Net Amount) hidden or zeroed. We wouldn’t want to change the value in IFS to zero. Is there a way I can achieve it only when I am printing the report? 

I am unable to find the RMB “Create Outllook Meeting” or “Create Mail” in our APPS 10 install.  The help documentation states:Note: This option is enabled only if MS Outlook is installed at the user.Does anyone know the versions oof Outlook supported?  We are on the Office 365 version.Thank you in advance for your help.

Can any please advise.We are due to review and update our prices that will be effective from 01/01/2021 and have created a migration job to load base prices.  Our source file includes PART_NO, PRICE and VALID_FROM. The migration job, updates the SALES_PART and SALES_PART_BASE_PRICES but I am not convinced I am updating correctly.   It looks like I cannot load the prices in advance as the Sales Part price field changes along with the Sales Part Base Price as soon as it is migrated in. Can someone please advise the best way to update our base prices in advance?
