Hello,I use IFS 9 in VMWare  server. IFS and Oracle DB 12c are running in same server (VMWare Server name IFS_Test). Server operating system is Windows 2016 Standart server.I clone IFS_Test to IFS_TEST_NEW Shutdown IFS_TEST server. Opened IFS_TEST_NEW and changed IP address x.37 to x.251 Oracle is running and I can connect from SQL Developer. But IFS not connected to Oracle. IFS_TEST_NEW connect to Oracle if IFS_TEST server is open. But I have to delete IFS_TEST server.  I need to change connection IP for Oracle DB in IFS_TEST_NEW.How can I do and where can I do ? Note : IFS Middleware Server Admin Console is not working on browser 

Any ideas what could be causing this error for the IFSv10 install Sp 13 to fail? The following error occurred while executing this line:D:\IFS\repository\server\install_fndmws.xml:262: Failed to configure Middleware Server. Can a IFS Middleware Server of Apps10 run on Windows Sever 2022 ?From which update version will Windows Server 2022 be added to IFS Applications 10 Supported Platforms ?

(I work in US10 Finance) We are post Thor go-live and I have a customer asking for invoices from 2017.  I have always had read-only access to BIZ 7.5 - Today, the APP is not working (access point was Citrix - which is no good now, I've added a pic).  I have asked around to my colleagues if there is a new URL or if they have any knowledge - no one knows.  The suggestion to create a case came up, I am hoping that is not necessary and one of you great folks can provide at least insight, as I feel I must have missed some communique or something.  Thanks for your time. 

Hi Team,Below are my few queries regarding service updates:Recently we applied the SU9 IFS 22R1 in our CFG environment. But after 2 weeks we found another service update SU10 is available. Also in one of IFS case its mentioned that there is a fix available in 22R1 SU11. I’m confused although 22R2 released on month of October still we are receiving service update in the older version 22R1. Till what extent this will continue. How long IFS going to support the old releases as in every 6 month one new release come up. Is there any recommendation of the version customer to go in production. As per standard practice it should n-1 or n-2 where n stands for the latest release. Is there any such recommendation from IFS?Regards,RR

On the community I found all the What’s new presentation of IFS Application 10 per UPD. What I cannot find is the What’s new presentation of Apps 10 RTM. Is this information available and where can I find this?I also wonder why some of the IFS Applications Update What’s New Presentations contains a huge number of files while others are relative small. Like Update 4 (505 slides) Update 5 (698 slides). Does these ppt contain all the What’s new slide from the previous updates?What would very useful if there is one ppt which contain all the What’s new from Apps 10 RTM until UPD 17. Is that available?I am aware of the IFS Upgrade Enhancement Index that is very useful, but to give a customer who wants to Upgrade more detail information I would like to have PPT.

We are new to IFS and have purchased Cloud...we are having issue with timeliness of requested deliveries, lack of delivery being available when it should be along with what I consider to be a timely response to support cases/tickets. I would like to know if anyone else is having these issues, what the normal SLA. Additionally if anyone can tell me of their success and/or challenges with Cloud I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking for documenation also.Thanks!

Hi All,I am trying to use an attribute with data type ‘LongText’ in a virtual of an assistant.  At run time, framework is generating below error.  Is it possible to send an arran contain large data as ‘Input’ parameter of an assistance.    

We are configuring SSO in Apps9 and are having issues getting it working. We have reinstalled it with the DEBUG box checked. In the technical documentation for the on prem install it states, "Debug checkbox will turn SSO debugging on and off. This will be printed out to standard out."Where is "standard out"?

I cloned one of our existing app9 application server onto a new server. Did a move and then started a new install (following manual cloning procedure) then got error below. Can anybody please advise what happens to the migrated standard default permission sets i.e. FND_ENDUSER, FND_DEVELOPER, DOCUMENT_ATTACHMENT_VIEWER etc., Do they get updated or replaced? Also, what would happen to the standard default permission sets if a customer had made amendments to one of them, instead of copying and amending?  Would there changes be overwritten/removed. The reason for asking is because some REVOKES have ‘disappeared’ after the deployment, when, they were there just before going through the deployment step. Thank you for your help. John

If we need to connect a case to another handover, we can perform it via LCS Handover lines. During the Update Applying process, this is a required step as there could be, not delivered or partially delivered patches which are included in the UPD via are currently applying (superseded patches). If we encounter such handover lines, it is recommended  to connect them to the current UPD applying case. By default, superseded packages are not visible in LCS (you can make them visible via a setting though). Therefore, if we do not connect superseded packages to the latest UPD case, those could be missed in deliveries or cause confusions as those lines are not visible by default. 1. We are running on Oracle 12.1 standard /App9 UPD 12. Can we apply UPD18 to APPS9 without upgrading oracle to 19c? 

In “Copy Part” screen, either if the “Cancel if original is missing” Boolean field is active or not, if we copy a non-existing “From Part No” from site X to a site where it also does not exist, there is no error message. An information message says that the part is created while it is not created. An error message would be better…Is it going to be improved in next releases? (I am currently under 21R1)
