Hi All, We have an Apps10 environment hosted on the IFS hosted cloud. In the last 10 days we have had the environment go down 7 times because of stuck threads. We have had a similar situation in the past and it was diagnosed to be from the parallelism set on the RMAN backups. While we thought that was resolved the issue has resurfaced. I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone has experienced similar event due to MWS stuck threads and how have you resolved it?

We had an issue where the Print Agent died and when we rebooted, everything began working normally, and new print jobs flowed fine, but there are still over a dozen jobs in “Print Manager” stuck in “Working” status. Any ideas? Thanks!

Is it possible to add data to the schema for an IFS generated report where the layout will be done with IFS Report Designer? An example would be the Collective Invoice, I need to read data from a custom field on the customer table and display it on a custom layout. We previously used Crystal Reports where we can join to a database table and display the value, with IFS Report Designer I’m not sure how to do this when IFS has already designed the schema and logic to generate the report. I know objects can be overridden using IFS Developer Studio and custom logic can be added, is this possible with an ordered report?

Hello everyone, This is your daily dose of issue. As we can not use a command group to order a report made with business reporter, I chosen to perform the business report generation through API rest calls on a webapp.The business report requires shop order no, release no and sequence no parameters. I went on the order report page to simulate the calls made and replicate those on my webapp.I use an IAM client with this configuration : When I use Postman with this account, no issue, the report is created and filled with data. When I use my webapp with the same account, I have no issue with rest calls (HTTP 2xx) , recovering data in responses to build next calls, everything look fine.But when I download the report, this one has the same structure, but data is empty, cells are not filled. Hi, I need to do custom events sending e’mail notication to supervisor when employee create request When creating the event I selected the entity CEmpRequest, a database table C_EMP_REQUEST_TAB. Where can I get supervisor's email address when creating an custom event?

I have a persistent, multiselect custom field in Aurena in the Business Opportunity Screen but it is missing from the search filters that I can choose from at the header level. Normally, when I add custom fields to a screen in Aurena, that field becomes an option as a search filter. Is this restricted to multiselect custom fields or am I missing something? The LU is synced and it is working perfectly in Aurena, I’m just not sure why it isn’t showing up as an option in the search filter drop down.

I face below problem with Script A Rest RMB All the DLLs inside the temp folder seems not accessible by the application when using the RMB. But if I run a command from Script A Rest.exe works as expected Not sure this is an error in the latest build of the tool. RMB works as expected.

Since the IFS debug console is discontinued in 24R1 and replaced with the IFS Cloud Web DevTools browser extension we (our company) is interested to know some more details about the “product” IFS Cloud Web DevTools browser extension since we know need to “open up” the Developer Tools function in the browser, which is locked for our ordinary users, to be able to view debug information.For example: Are there any whitepaper/documents about the product? How often is the IFS Cloud DevTools extension updated with security patches? Will it be certified against the latest versions of Edge Browser

Hello, We are using IFS 8 SP1+ with 2 managed server with an external load balancer as netscalar. We are getting error in 4 to 5 min “Database session has been expired. Please restart client application” on many screens. We have Dedicated session timeout is 5400, Ideal time parameter of Oracle profile is set to unlimited. Also netscalar timeout is set to 10 Min. Does anyone came across same issue or help us to identify the issue where else we can check for this timeout parameter apart from above mentioned. Thanks in Advance

I have created a Scheduled Report from a Quick Report and set it to email myself however it will not execute. It hasn’t automatically created a background job for it either. Am I missing something?

We won’t to modify the filename of the attached invoice : But based on IFS documentation this can not be done Is it possible threw configuration to disable the standard wat of sending email a implementing it with event or somethis else so we can be able to modify the object, body and attached filename please? Hi,do you have any idea, how to implement OAuth2 Authorization Code Flow integration in IFS Aurena? We need to create integration with bank, where is only Authorization Code Flow possible (logging to account, approval in mobile app, configuration, granting priviledges, ...). At this point, I have no idea, how to prepare callbackUrl for accepting GET request with strictly defined URL parameters. Is there any manual how to prepare own SVC not depending on OData protocol? Hi All, We have a requirement where we need to create a new button in IFS page, let’s say Work Order. When user click on the button, we need to send an email. This email should contain some information from Work Order page and also it should have the attachments ( docs and media) connected to that work order. Is this possible via BPA flow? We are running Apps 10 Update 11 In the Aurena interface is there a way to search for a date that is say 3 days in the future? An example would be in Inventory Part In Stock and we want to find any items that expire in the next 3 days. In IEE I would use the advances/SQL query and use something like EXPIRATION_DATE <= trunc(sysdate)+3 I’m trying to figure out how to replicate what we currently do in IEE in Aurena. Not that we are migrating to the cloud version immediately, but it’s going to happen sooner or later.

We are currently reviewing our printers across multiple sites, within our business we have close to 20 printers and as part of this review, we’re looking into Equitrac, Papercut MF and Papercut Hive. Does anybody have experience on using these with IFS Cloud? Looking at these options and how Equitrac and Papercut MF both link to a single queue that exists on a print server, I imagine the IFS Print Agent can connect into this. However as Papercut Hive is cloud based, I am unsure how the print agent will pickup the queue. We are in the progress of getting trials for them, so I will be reporting back my own findings soon, but if anybody has any existing knowledge that would be great.
