Hey there,How can we cancel the line in Sales Quotation or Business Opportunity with closed status?As a matter of fact, according to the attached file we have closed SQ or closed BO how can we cancel the two lines in In Progress status? All the best 

Environment: IFS Cloud Hi I have a scenario whereby a Project is created on Company A. Theres a requirement for External Rental of equipment from Supplier 123. However Supplier 123 only has an account setup with Company B.   Driving the demand and supply through the Project on Company A, is it possible to create a Rental to Supplier 123 from the Project? This is straight forward with Material, as we can create an Interco PO & CO from Company A to Company B and have a back to back PO created from the CO (Purch Order DIR) to the external vendor and Register a Direct Delivery.  With Rentals, Im not sure whether this is possible? Has anybody faced this scenario in the past? Ideally, we do not want to create an admin burden with Interco transfers but im open to options here.  ThanksJames

Hello IFS Community, We are starting to use APB in our company and for it to work properly, I need to apply a material constraint. Since we are still new to this, we would like to apply this to only some Components PN. The question is: Is there a fast and convenient way to change the “Sched Capacity” for several PN at once, or at least in a list without having to open one by one in Inventory Part? Since we are still just testing it, I wouldn’t like to rely on our IT for it. Any tips?

In the Incoming Dispatch Advice page there are tabs regarding handling units, however there does not appear to be any options to create the handling units. Is this only possible when creating via connectivity?  If so, how is that achieved?

 When a shop order requests and reserves material to be moved as part of a transport task from stores to the point of use, how can these materials be made unavailable to other shop order?

Running into a strange error in which the Shipment Type is not being retrieved from the Site Default.Recreation Steps:Set-up default Shipment Type on Site (there is no Shipment Type defined for the Customer) Attempt to enter/save a Customer Order Line.  The Shipment Type will not be fetched and the user must manually select it through the Required Fields assistant that pops up.This is in a 22R2 SUPD 5 environment.    

Has anyone tried out a simple way of printing Site Address connected Phone Number in External Shipping documents like Shipment Proforma or Bill of Lading?Is there a possibility of fetching this value to the sender reference in shipment?

Hello Community;I am working with a client who is utilizing the Internal Purchase Direct Supply Code. In certain circumstances, they need to cancel the originating order in the demand  site.  The cancellation is being replicated from the originating order, to the PO, and the order on the supply site. However, on the supply site order, the cancellation is processing on the lines, but not the header.  The lines all show as status of Cancelled, but header status is still Released.  When you attempt to manually cancel the order header, the following message is provided.    Here is the Supply Chain Customer Order Analysis ​​​​​ 

Our EDI customer re-use the same PO references on different incoming orders (they aren’t able to change this). IFS can accept this, but when an order with the same PO reference is received, IFS rejects this order at the 'incoming customer order' screen (see below). The only way to work around it is to amend the PO ref, create the order, then change the PO ref back on the order that's created, but this is resource intensive. Does anyone know if there’s any configuration to allow duplicate Customer PO Numbers on incoming customer orders? 

We have a scenario where when we create a customer order with currency is dollars. This customer order will be delivered.After two months when we received the invoice for this order, we can see that the currency of the invoice has changed from dollars to euros.Our question is, is it possible to change the currency in the customer order or invoice?And if it is not possible to change the available currency, how should this scenario be managed in the system?

We need to show the actual value of each unit within a given WBS and divvy up the excess inventory into specific WBS'. With this, we found a lot of purchase orders tied to shop orders through an operation, however, the cost of the PO is not increasing the value of the material. I could have sworn if you asked me, this was once functional. However, going back and looking at orders from a long time ago - it appears I would have lost the bet. Should the SO/PR/PO/SO tie have the complete value?

Hi All, We have following situation for a machine building company: Their machines are build using different modules which are easily interchangeable. So we have for example a Serial Object with Serial ‘1’ which is composed of 5 modules A,B,C, D and E; Each module is also a Serial Object and ‘Contained’ within the structure of Serial Object 1.  The Serial object 1 was purchased by a client X years ago, but his machine was outdated and he replaced it with a new one, our customer got the old one back as part of the new machine deal.  Now they want to ‘upgrade’ that old machine. Upgrading means: they will disconnect all modules, and re-insert a combination of new and existing modules into the machine frame so it becomes a new model (= new part number, and new part serial). So Serial Object 1 is back on stock after the sale has been made. They will strip module A,B,C,D, E and put these on stock

Hi Guys,anyone of you have seen this error? We are trying to generate a work time calendar, which is in status “Changes pending”. Normally no problem, when we had this situation in Apps9. Calendar generated without any errors.Now in IFS Cloud (22R2 SU11), background job stops after one minute. These two line with error messages (ORA-20110: ChangePurchaseOrderLine.DATES_UPDATE: It is not allowed to update dates for Reopened order lines unless there is any qty to inspect.).One PO (Change Order) is a “No Part Line”. Makes it hard for me to understand, how to inspect this kind of PO Line?!  Can I be sure, that this are the only to error lines? Thx for your help.

Hi,I am working with customer that received EDI order for configured parts and this working fine. The customer also sells groups of these parts as a package part item. The issue is that IFS incoming customer orders cannot support orders for configured package parts. You can receive the incoming order with configured components as individual order lines but that mean that in IFS they will not be treated as a package. I am wondering if anyone else has had this requirement for EDI order for configured package parts  and how they worked around it ? 

I have been using the Sales and Operations Model for nearly year and would like to know exactly how the Set Up Resource Consumption works. Currently we have copied it from the manufacturing routing which assumes that, for each product changeover, we need 0.5 hours to set up.My question is - how does the resource routing and S&OP know how many product changeover we need? Do I need to increase the consumption in the resource routing to account for this? and would that be to the average number of changeovers (say 30x0.5) per month? I am assuming the phase and out dates are important here also.

When converting the Purchase Requisition lines to PO, the following error occures: “ Standard cost missing for part xxxxxx with configuration id * ”  Strange thing is when the same user does the same steps for another PO for exactly the same parts under same settings, the error naver occured. I checked the setup for those parts, they all have ‘Zero Cost Forbidden’ with Estimated Material Cost and the Unit Cost in the Inventory Part zero. But the SfPP has a cost. Is this possible?
