Solved

Hello everyone In my organization, work orders will be used by many groups. Is it possible to restrict access to work orders? I would like everyone to be able to see only their own work orders.

The Projection Grant Screen allows you to individually report which Permission Sets a single Projection has been granted to.  However, I have a need to ringfence numerous Projections and would like to be able to report on X number of Projections at once and get a listing of the Permission sets each Projection is granted to (ideally would be usefully to exclude looking into Permission sets that I know are not relevant).  I can see this as being a frequent admin task to ensure the integrity of the permission sets\system.  This will also provide evidence of active management in the area to our auditors.   Does anyone know of a suitable report/solution for this requirement.

Helllo,I am trying to sum all the raw(purchased) material (MATERIAL1, MATERIAL2) for my product. (According to qty_per_assembly) I just generated simple structure of L1 product. It looks like this: What i need to do is to sum the MATERIAL1 and MATERIAL2: MATERIAL1 (8,25kg) goes to part_no L4.1 (1 pcs) and component L4.1 (1 pcs) goes to part_no L3 (16 pcs) that means: 8,25 * 1 * 16 * 1 = 132 kg (level4 * level3 * level2 * level1) MATERIAL2 (0,75kg) goes to part_no L4.2 (2 pcs) and component L4.1 (1 pcs) goes to part_no L3 (16 pcs) that means: 0,75 * 2 * 16 * 1 = 24 kg (level4 * level3 * level2 * level1)  How to do it in oracle? Thank in advance.  MANUF_STRUCTURE view - basicwith data as (select 'L1' as part_no, 0 as eng_chg_level, '' as alternative_no, 'L2' as component_part, 1 as qty_per_assembly, 'PCS' as print_unit from dual union allselect 'L2' as part_no, 0 as eng_chg_level, '' as alternative_no, 'L3' as component_part, 16 as qty_per_assembly, 'PCS' as print_unit from dual

We are currently in the process to drive different eforms being presented to technicians based on specific criteria.  All of these workfows are “Work Task” configuration type.  This is currently working as intended.  However, we have come up with certain scenarios that require some items be mandatory that cannot be properly made mandatory utilizing current system capabilities. Workflow Configuration: We tried to trigger a survey for a specific work task (with Work Stage ID "H-2"), see the workflow configuration in the attached screenshot. However, we tested this and the outcome is that for all the work tasks created from the work task template, the survey was triggered (instead of only 1 with work stage id "H-2").

Over the last few days we have to got complains from several technicians saying, the MWO App is Offline time to time. They face this issue when trying to sync the application. In the Sync Monitor it says offline. According to them it comes back online after a while. I have checked the device logs and noticed below errors during this time E    3/11/2025 10:40:05 AM    <Ifs.Cloud.Client.Exceptions.CloudException><Message>Server is not reachable</Message><System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException><Message>The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.</Message><System.IO.IOException><Message>Unable to read data from the transport connection: Network subsystem is down.</Message><System.Net.Sockets.SocketException><Message>Network subsystem is down</Message></System.Net.Sockets.SocketException></System.IO.IOException></System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException></Ifs.Cloud.Client.Exceptions

Hi,I would need your help to solve out Time Clock logic when clocking out with absence.I have clocked in with normal and then during the day the employee get sick and leave early from work so I do the Out Absence clocking. On time card the absence interval is still open, I assume it would clock me out for the rest of the day.    So my question is what is the logic when an employee clocks herself Out Absence and can I change the logic? And how does the open absence interval be closed (without manual work). BrEevastiina

We are excited about digitizing the purchase return process. Currently, I am familiar with two return types: return for rework and return for credit. My question is, what happens next when "return for credit" is selected as the return reason? Does the system automatically generate a supplier credit invoice, or must users manually create the credit and link it to the supplier shipment? If anyone has complete documentation on this process, sharing it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,As I understand, if I assign certain users to a certain warehouses in the form "Users Connected to Warehouses" for this user in the form “Inventory Parts in Stock” should only be visible inventory parts in stock related to those warehouses. But I still see all warehouses in “Inventory Parts in Stock”, even if assigned only some of them:What should I do to restrict visibility of certain warehouses information in the form “Inventory Parts in Stock”?Thank you beforehand:)

Hello Experts,I want to navigate from an element which shows the assigned tasks to the subproject to which the task is connected. I have tried using, at firstpage/ProjectScopeAndSchedule/SubProjectLevel?$filter=ProjectId eq $[PROJECT_ID]&$filter=SubProjectId eq $[SUB_PROJECT_ID]and thenpage/SubProjects/SubProjects?$filter=(startswith(ProjectId,$[PROJECT_ID]))&$filter=(startswith(SubProjectId,$[SUB_PROJECT_ID])) However, in both scenarios, the system only sets the value for the subproject ID but not for the project ID in the target page.   The latter part of the url is like this. page/ProjectScopeAndSchedule/SubProjectLevel;$filter=SubProjectId%20eq%20'002';path=0.1656053651.1188772997.671078522.1492810231.eyJmIjoiL1BhZ2UiLCJnIjoiUHJvamVjdFNjb3BlQW5kU2NoZWR1bGUiLCJpIjoiU3ViUHJvamVjdExldmVsIiwiYSI6InZpcnR1YWwtMSIsImIiOiIxNDkyODEwMjMxIiwiZSI6IlN1YiBQcm9qZWN0IFNjb3BlIGFuZCBTY2hlZHVsZSIsImgiOiJTdWJQcm9qZWN0SWQgZXEgJzAwMiciLCIkZmlsdGVyIjoiU3ViUHJvamVjdElkIGVxICcwMDInIiwiZCI6dHJ1ZSwiY

I’ve got my Sales Contract (SC) revision set to Audit/Contract Change Order Required/Comment Required and it’s Frozen.  When I complete a Contract Change Order (CCO) the system updates the SC but doesn’t create a new revision.  It just updates the current revision.  Am I missing something or is is designed to work that way?Thank youPatrick

Hi, We are currently working on upgrading our IFS 10 version to IFS Cloud 24R1 version. It was noticed that Resource tab is not available under the Prepare Work Order> Tasks Tab  Resources can be planned under PM Actions’ Tasks. We would like to know whether this is the standard behaviour in IFS Cloud or are we missing the other tabs in Prepare Work Order page due to any set up issue. Thanks,Thilochana

We are using FSM SmartClient Release: 6 Update 29 Build: 8961to send scheduling tasks (activities) to PSO 6.13.0.62. FSM sends tasks to field ops via FSM Mobile. We have multiple datasets in PSO. We also use appointment booking in FSM. Things have been working relatively OK for some time now, however several days ago we suddenly lost visibility to the PSO Scheduling Resources Gantt view for one dataset and see that the FSM schedule nightly process PSO DAILY INITIALIZE has errored out for that dataset since this past Saturday. We’ve tried to do the initialize manually through Maintain Dataset but that doesn’t work either. At this point FSM is no longer able to generate the overnight LOAD file for that dataset to synch FSM and PSO. For that dataset we get this error on the Gantt screen (you can see that when we select that particular dataset from the Dataset drop down, the result displays as “No dataset”):That dataset is configured correctly in both Modelling and Scheduling Datasets confi

Hi,Is there a way to automatically approve only the advance supplier invoices ?Thanks.

Our users have recently had some issues with the “Update Revision” setting on doc object connections, and i wondered if any other IFS users have had similar issues... On Doc basic (page) > Doc Default Values (tab) we set the “Keep_Last_Doc_Rev” setting to “R” (i.e. latest released revision). For the doc class in question, we also applied this same setting via the Doc Class management (page) > Doc Default Values (tab). We expected these settings to ensure that all doc connections for this doc class would follow that setting (unless a user intentionally edits the “Update Revision” field). Under normal circumstances, releasing a new Rev causes the old rev to become obsolete, and also causes the object connections to be moved to the Latest Released Revision (as expected)However, after a few weeks of running our process we found that several doc connections were set to “Fixed” instead of “Latest Released Revision”, and didn't really understand how it had happened (our users did not man

Hello. In the multi level structure tab, we sometimes have a negative value on the qty per assembly field. What’s the meaning of this and is that possible to update the value to set a positive value?

Is there a convenient or “proper” way to export an External File Template in IFS Apps 10?  Looking for an alternative to manually editing the template.

Hello Community,Prepare operations have been completed successfully. Tablespace, Tas owner, Tas runtime user etc.IFS TAS installations have also been completed successfully. Connection can be provided with the end user. However, I cannot log in to the local admin with IFSTAS.  RegardsBarış
