  Hi All,This is a requirement from one of the customera and I am looking for the correct solution.The end user will only allow to 'Order Report' but he/she should not be able to 'Schedule Report'.IFS Cloud 21.2How can I achieve this?Thank you.

Hello,We have created an embedded work space for Power BI and can by some settings find reports available in the element designer phase.But if we want to find the details for a report we have no permissions.What settings or Permissions is required to acces the Element Designer for Power BI-elements?We have tried all the permission sets in IFS and the user also has access to the report in Power BI service.Does anyone have a guideline for this or know what’s missing?

BR Experts,Could someone with Business Reporter (BR) knowledge, enlighten us whether this amount of data load and writeback option will be possible in IFS Cloud?We have a BR report created to capture IFS project forecasts and Overheads (OH), save it to the BR report template and then use the write back option to writeback values to the Business Plan module in IFS.The report is being run for a particular Company, for one Planning Unit (Code part for the Location - NSW, VIC etc.) and to check All the projects that are available. Our question is to check whether the below amount of data could be handled within the BR report.There are around 10 tabs in the Report. Out of which 2 tabs are most significant and handle large number of data.Tab 1 – For Completed and Current Projects

Hello community,In Power BI in the cube IFS_Sales I cannot see the fields Coordinator and Parallel Currency, those fields are in the dimensions Campaign and Company of FACT_CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINES and FACT_CUSTOMER_ORDER_CHARGE (Information sources)So why can not see them in Power BI? but  for e.g in Business reporter I can. There is any option how to consume Information Source/Access View via REST API?I know that Information Source can be used in IFS Business Reporter and Access View I can read from database via IFSINFO user.But there is any other option? I mean eg. wrap Access View to Projection Configuration? I tried it but Access View cannot be used in Projection Configuration.Is any chance how to publish Information Source/Access View via REST API only by tailoring, without programming standard customization?Thanks. BRZdenek

Hi All, I’m trying to create a Business reporter report by using a quick information source that fetches values from an IAL. And I want to take the user details who ordered the report to the report designer. But when I trying to take it using a context substitution variable it gives the below error. BR client version is 5.0.23 of Apps10.  If anyone of you know how to use context substitution variables with quick information sources please let me know.

Hello Community I have seen  that It's not uncommon some reports are missing in Document Footer.The idea   has been raised to give the customers the ability to connect every report in the document footer screen in IFS. in the meantime, is there a way of configuring the footer of a report without having to customise the report with report designer or another tool? And i want also to  know why for some reports the standard ifs logo continues to appear even though we did this configuration t stup multi company for all reports :Upload your images to the “Report Images” page in AurenaCopy the exact “Image Name” from the fieldPaste the Image Name into the “Document Logotype” on the company It works for all our reports except for a few like SHPMNT_CONSOLID_PICK_LIST_REP. I have created a quick report (SQL statement) in APP10 and the report is successfully populated when trying to view using IEE.The report is seen in the ‘Order Report’ window but when I try to view the report, it is not populated and shows ‘No Data’. The issue remains the same even if I log in as IFSAPP to Aurena.Could someone please advice if any security grants should be done in order to see the records in Aurena please? 

When we save a business reporter generated file to a shared location it initially runs fine then users begin to get to see a message that looks like this: “The process cannot access the file:’Z:\Test Reports\business_reporter_example.xlsx’ bause it is being used by another process.” We have checked the file is not open and ensured the locations used are listed in the Trust center locations. Has anyone else encountered this issue and/or have fix?

Hey All,I have a concern raised from a customer with regards to upgrading Business Reporters from APPS10 to Cloud. What implication is there for any reports that have been developed for Apps10 Aurena as and when we decide to upgrade to IFS Cloud? Does BR still exist? Will the reports just continue to work? Or will they need to be adjusted, or worse redeveloped, to work with IFS Cloud?I know we could run the Business Reporter Upgrade Utility to validate the reports but are there anything additional which we need to consider on above concerns? Best Regards, Thushila 

Dear all,Can we use database querries in ifs business reporter?How can we use our custom queries in the Business Reporter using this tool? I ‘m currently seeking know-how regarding this matter.

We are running IFS Cloud 23R1 in a, by IFS, hosted setup with self hosted BI setup in our own Azure tenant. However, our main datalake resides in Snowflake and we’re therefore pushing data from Azure to Snowflake. Currently this is done with full dataloads each time, which is not a sustainable model.We have enabled incremental loads between IFS Cloud and our self hosted BI (Azure). We are now looking into what we can utilize to enable incremental loads between Azure and Snowflake, and noticed that mvt_created_dt was populated in Azure. However it seem to be updated with the time of the latest incremental load, for all records? My exceptation was that this would only occur for newly added/updated records.Does anyone have any suggestion how to implement a solid incremental load funcationality between Azure and another datalake?

Hello,I have a requirement to make the data source - FACT_GL_TRANSACTION as incremental data load and I have modified that in Data Load Definitions -> Data Source ->FACT_GL_TRANSACTION - Incremental Load (condition got auto generated based on mvt_created_dt).Although my existing access view FACT_GL_TRANSACTION_BI, has the data access type set as online and it is created based on FACT_GL_TRANSACTION_OL. Hence, full load will be sent every time when the data load runs as the mvt_created_dt in  FACT_GL_TRANSACTION_OL is sysdate.I don't see any option to modify access view - FACT_GL_TRANSACTION_BI to change access type as datamart. Can you please suggest me how this can be handledRegards,Manisha

Hello,We have a data source - FACT_GL_TRANSACTION which needs to be sent as incremental load to Azure. But the load goes into error while the data load runs. Any idea why ?  

Steps to recreate the issueCreate a Report Rule for any report. I have checked this issue for the Order confirmation report (CUSTOMER_ORDER_CONF_REP) with an Action type of “Route to Connect”. And use “ResultKey” as an OutputFileName So, When I print the Order confirmation Report, I got an Email with the Output name combined with ReportID_ResultKey. 

HI,In some cases BR reports  that have been working properly stops reconginzing field names and show #VALOR or #¿NAME? in each cell that includes an IFS field. The formula ribon however shows the field properly. That change happens after running the report and going back the Design mode.  In some of those cases the BR still works and show data when I press Run report, but in other cases the report stops working. Do you now how to resolve this problem?   

Hi All,  I am just having a play with the GL Balance information source and wondered if I can supress rows with 0 balances I currently have the 3 elements below with a row repeater of account There seems to a few account that has a 0 balance. I was wondering if i could exclude that from showing in the report. I have tried setting row filters and cell filters.(Is not Null and not equal to 0 ) doesn’t seem to get rid of them. Is there something obvious I am missing here ?  Any advice is appreciated  ThanksCameron

Hi, I have created a custom field and added that into an entity. I also created a new entity/projection/page with some custom fields. I tried to query into the custom views using PLSQL developer, I used:   SELECT * FROM IFSAPP.PART_CATALOG_CFVBut it gives the error: “ORA-00942: Table or view does not exist” For the custom page, I can see data in the client, and I used the View name shown in the debug console for the query, but still gives the same error.I’m using IFSDBREADONLY as the user. Any help to resolve this? Thank you.Kalindu  

Hello, I created a Quick Information Source based on an IAL, I could enable the Zoom-In, however I can’t create Workbook/Sheet Slicers based on my QIS/Custom IAL.Is there a place where I need to enable the option?Also, does anyone have documentation on this? I.e., Documentation on creating IAL/QIS for Business Reporter. I’m also trying to make the Drill-down option work (it is enabled but giving an error message).Thanks in advance

Hello BR experts,I have created a business reporter based on structure where I am trying to compare GL and IL Balances. Column HFM Balance is using source Internal Ledger Balance and Statutory Balance is using GL balance.When I defined a filter for Ledger ID on HFM Balance column, report gives me error shown on the screen shot.The only way to apply a filter is on cell level. But I am afraid it will reduce report generation time if I apply filter for each cell in the report.Basically my question is how to enter the filter that will bypass this error?   ThanksFurkan

Hi,We have encountered an error with the view FACT_ACTIVITY_CALCULATION_BI which I believe is part of the Analysis Models.The error is:ORA-00904: "ACTIVITY_CLASS_SEQ": invalid identifierHas anyone else experienced this?It seems that it is because the view thinks that "ACTIVITY_CLASS_SEQ" is a column in FACT_ACTIVITY_CALCULATION_OL but that view does contain that column.This is causing failures for us when we are trying to load the data into the SQL database.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Mark Mruss
