Does anyone know how to build IFS Cloud specific user related RLS into the Tabular models?

I'm testing a  Business Reporter , and I've encountered an issue. they receive an empty one.I would be grateful for your assistance

hello,We have a business reporter with 2 parameters: year and period. We will use the scheduled reports option to schedule this report and enter context variables (e.g. #year#, #last month#).using function parameters, we need to figure the year period (yyyymm) which will be used to filter on various report columns (e.g. last period, last year current period etc.). The issue is that if we enter year:2024 and period:7, how can we get business reporter to convert these 2 parameters to year-period value 202407 instead of 20247. Any suggestions? This is in Apps 10 (version 5.0.27).  

I have noticed, when trying solve a users acccess issue for a BR report, that while in IFS Explorer, users can only see and run BR reports that their IFS access allows them to.However, if someone logs in with  the standalone Business Reporter client on their PC, they can access and run all the BR reports in the system, regardless of their IFS user security settings, so the security settings are bypassed altogether.Is this a bug, or is there something that needs configuring in the system to ensure they can only see and run  the same reports in the BR client that they have access to in the IFS Explorer client?IFS Explorer client version: apps 10 update 14, in house installation.Business Reporter client: Apps 10, version 5.0.24Thanks

Hi All, One of our customers would like to connect an existing SQL server data warehouse to their IFS Cloud.  What would be the best approach to do this?We are looking into solutions like, using the APIs, information sources or using IFSINFO user combined with IALs  but haven’t figured out a recommendation from IFS to do this. Thank you all for your input.   

Hello experts According to the IFS Business Reporter designer’s guide we have a helpful functionality called “Highlight” in the Business Reporter. It should highlight the design rows, column and cell criteria with the press of a button and therefore assist during the report creation.  Before:​​​​After: Problem:When I try to use the highlight functionality it doesn’t work. I am in the Design Mode and click on the Highlight button, but nothing happens:  Does anyone have an idea what the issue could be? It happens to me on Apps 10 as well as on IFS Cloud.  Many thanks in advance! Best regards,Lukas

Hi,A custom filed is used as a business report parameter. LOV of the custom filed is visible when running the report in Business Reporter. However, once the report is published in IFS Cloud, LOV of the parameter is not appearing.Any idea on this issue? Thank you

Hello All,I am modifying quick reports trying to get the enumeration/reference lists to appear in the parameter list.  I have gotten the list to appear, but I have one custom field that doesn’t show the prompt.  It has a prompt in the custom enumeration and on the custom field, so it isn’t simply missing.  All I get is the semi-colon “ : ”.  See below:Either overriding it or getting the correct prompt to show up would fix this problem.I have another report where the entry parameters are to be excluded from the report, so the normal prompt will not work.  In this case I would like to override the normal prompt for only that report.  So it would be something “Exclude These Group ID’s” where the normal prompt is “Group ID”. Thanks,RonV 

Hi BR experts,Could you please advise me on the following issue?When the customer orders the BR report, they get an empty report.But when I order the same report I get the report with data.To investigate the problem, I removed filters from the report one by one, until only the company filter remained. The filter looks like this: DIM_COMPANY.CODE IN &CompanyI defined it with a parameter Company with the default value: 8031,8111,8114,8115. The report appears empty, but when I change the filter to:DIM_COMPANY.CODE IN '8031','8111','8114','8115'with hardcoded values, the report shows data. Have you encountered such an issue? Do you know any solution or workaround on how to define a filter with a multi value parameter so that the report displays data?I would be grateful for any suggestions.Best regards,Adam

Designed Repeater in Rows 7-8​​​Repeater informationMy company has been in IFS for a year now, and we have learned a lot about IFS and Business Reporter. I’ve been recently tasked to start making some of our reports more presentable. In the screenshot above, we have a row repeater over Rows 7-8. We no longer need columns A-D, or current rows 3-6. When I delete any amount of rows above, the repeater stays in row 7-8, but the fields [Structure Node] and [Account] move up, meaning the row design has broken. Deleted the above rows 3-6 After deleting the above rows 3-6 I thought maybe running the report would help the program to reset itself, but it does not. I have found once a file has this issue, it will always have this issue (to my knowledge). I have also seen it in Column Repeaters. We are still relatively new but are having a hard time with editing current reports at times. Is this a bug, or should we be deleting/adding rows/columns differently? I CAN manually edit the start/stops in

How to enable turn on 

Issue Reports created using "GL BALANCE" information source are unable to use "Zoom In" and/or "Drill down" feature. When IFS create a new report using "GL Balance" information source, it works fine on customer's end but when customer creates a new report using the same information source it doesn't work when trying to use "Zoom In" and/or "Drill down" feature.Only difference between the reports created by customer and IFS is the "Project" in the Document Actions is missing.    In the "Dimensions" page, "DIM_PROJECT_CODE" is missing in the customer's environment.   Environment RWGE-CLD-CFGProduct Version: 22.2.10 Cause Further investigations found that the reason for this error is Project component is not activated in customer's environment. Resolution IFS Fixed Version: 22.2.20 - 22R2 SU20, 23.1.13 - 23R1 SU13, 23.2.6 - 23R2 SU6, 24.1.0 - 24R1 GA, 24.2E.0 - 24R2 EAhttps://ifsdev.atlassian.net/browse/EIZBR-2731

Hello,We are using IFS v10 and I want to add media or documents to the pdf report. When we want to print a report on the Work Order screen, it gives us the option to add the added media or document, but even though I add the document, I cannot see the added media in the pdf report it creates.Can you help me

I have this message “Oops! Something went wrong - Invalid parameter : redirect_uri”. Do you have an idea in order to help me. 

Hello,I am running a tabular model deployment for one of our customers and i get below error,  i think the issue is due to the fact that they have multiple instances in their SQL Server and the Environment Parameters are set up like below,SQL_SERVER_NAME          12.1.2.12\IFSPRODBIand it finds the backslash as an escape character. Is there a workaround for this? Does IFS support multiple SQL Instances setup like above?

HI IFS Community,Could you help me with the following problem?I created a BR report with one Design Row. When I run the report, I get an error message: "Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution" has been reached. The parameter "Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution" is set to 65,000.The report fetches data from a Quick Information Source, which contains much more than 65,000 records. To solve this problem, I split the records in the Quick Information Source into two sets. For one set, the DESIGN_ROW_NO column has a value of 1, and for the other set, it has a value of 2. Each set of records contains fewer than 65,000 records.In the report, instead of one Design Row, I created two Design Rows. One shows records that meet the condition DESIGN_ROW_NO = 1, and the other shows records that meet the condition DESIGN_ROW_NO = 2. But when I run the report, I still get the error message: "Maximum number of rows to retrieve during statement execution"

When I try to print out a pdf, I encounter the error in the image. Has anyone encountered this error before?  

Dear community I am trying to use the Query Designer in IFS Cloud to create a list of Users and the Group they belong to, and this to facilitate our user management process.We are using IFS Cloud 23R2 and this screenshots shows the fields I want to output to the list: User Identity, eMail and GroupI’m struggling to define this query using the Query Designer. Any help would be very much appreciated.Thank you 

Hi,After publishing a BR report and when trying to order through reporting>order reports in cloud, it is not possible to get the list of values for the parameters set. Is there any setting to enable to get the list of values ?Thanks

A published BR report in IFS Cloud 23R1 contains 2 parameters for Date_From and Date_To. These are defaulted to #START_OF_LAST_WEEK# and #START_OF_THIS_WEEK#. Executing the report in the BR client this works as expected - the date range is rendered as expected. However, ordering the published report through Info Services, these default values does not show - and are not allowed. Similarly result for Global BR Parameters.  Is this how it is supposed to work in core ?I.e. that Context Substitution Variables are not available / implemented for reports of type BR reports ordered / scheduled via Info Services.

Hi, everybodyI want to select the MUSTERI_ADI filter as on the customer screen.While the Department_Id filter works as I want, MUSTERI_ADI filter does not work as I want.Department screen is basic data, maybe that's why the screen appears like that on the filter.
