Hello, When posting a number of invoices, we receive the error message below. This occurs when posting invoices from contractors. Strangely enough, it does not occur with all invoices from contractors. I have checked the suppliers, projects and parts. All of them have been ruled out because other invoices from contractors contain the supplier, projects and/or parts and are posted without an error message.I don't understand what triggers the error message, because all the currencies we use are valid in the Currency Rates screen. Are you familiar with this message and do you have a solution for it?The error occurs when we do Purchasing > Match PO Receipts in the menu Posting Proposal. We are on Apps10 Update 29. 

Hello IFS Community,We’ve encountered an issue when using the .rep layout in a Report Rule with the action “Check In To Document Management”. Specifically, the Document Revision is not created or attached to the ProjectInvoice object when the .rep layout is used.In contrast, when using the .rdl layout in the same Report Rule, the Document Revision is successfully created and attached to the ProjectInvoice object.The Report Rule configuration remains unchanged between tests—only the layout name differs. Both layouts (.rdl and .rep) generate PDF results in the Report Archive, and the Report Rule Log confirms that the rule is triggered in both cases.Does anyone know why the .rdl layout works for creating Document Revisions, while the .rep layout does not? Could it be a configuration we’re missing?

Once a PO is released and we want to add another PR using purchase order change order, even though PR is connected to a project, it’s giving error that line needs to be connected to projects and in POCo there is no project number, there is sub project etc. in iFS. What could be the issue. Original PO is connected to the same project as is in the PR that we using to o do POCO. 

I am attempting to auto approve absence requests in IFS. When a absence request comes in it is set to “Confirmed” status. I would like for it to be changed to “Approved”. I set the “Selection” parameter that is required to change the absence request state to approved, but it seems like it is not accepting the “keyref” key for the selection value. To verify I concatenated my own “KeyRef” value that matches “keyref” shown in the screenshot below. Still I receive json invalid error message. Do you think I should raise a ticket with IFS support for this? When a person uses Budgeting and Forecasting, they will determine estimates that may or may not match the estimates from the Project (Project Monitoring).  Our customer wants to keep these in sync and is incredulous that we don’t have tools to update the project from the budget/forecast.  At least to the best of my knowledge we don’t.  This forces the user to have to update in Budgeting and Forecasting, then update the project, which can be tedious and prone to error and time consuming.It seems that the logic to update the estimate from the forecast is pretty straightforward.  Has anyone done this?  Is there any move by RnD to add this capability?Thank you./Patrick

This is our default settings and we would like to change themI have already prepared some basic changes in the Selection Criteria or the colomn order but I cannot find where I can configure the Group Data setup in the Page Designer. This seems like a basic request but I cannot find any way to achieve this inside IFS (Apps10).If we have a part shortage, how can we generate a list of all top level parts (manufactured units) that this part could go into?With a lot of manual work/expanding of assemblies we can get there using the Complete Where Used and Component Where Used screens, but we have to expand all of the multiple level sub-assemblies in order to find all of the top level parts that are impacted.Surely there has to be a better, quicker way to identify just a simple list of top level units (final assembly) that would require a specific part?

community, We are on APP10.I created a lobby and it is working well under my profile.I am trying to grant it to end user, but  end user does not load any data. i think i grant the permission set.  see below screenshots. any idea where I missed?end user lobby page Permission set granted to the end user 

For documents generated by IFS, you can assign certain Phrases per Document Type and that works very well. Now, there is also a new module 'procurement clause types' in which you can assign clauses per supplier, project, part, activity, ... So, I suspect that with this functionality, instead of determining a few clauses per document type, you can do this more specifically for all documents relating to a particular supplier/project/part, for example. Steps to take are:Create a procurement clause type. Create phrases linked to this clause type. Create clause connection rules, to determine when the clause should appear on a document.After trying all these steps, I don’t seem to manage to view the clause on the documents.Are there certain extra steps to undertake/settings to change for this module to work?

Community,On work task line, you can see the current pre posting for cost center is set. if I changed the object ID, i would like the cost center in Pre Posting being changed automatically by a designated cost center value. my question would be, how to connect the cost center to object ID? Dear Community! Is there a smart way to register partial sick leave in IFS?  For Example: the employee has 50% sick leave, the normal working time is 8,4h per day. So he/she should only work 4,2 hours per day and the rest is on sick leave.  Thank you in advance, Veronika

As we plan to move to IFS Cloud next year, we are evaluating the Shipment Order solution (25R2).During this evaluation, we identified several gaps in IFS Cloud compared to the APP10 Transport Order functionality. We would appreciate your advice on available workarounds and whether these gaps are planned to be addressed in future releases.1. Hi, The automatic tolerance posting creation on the Posting Proposal when a PO is matched against an invoice with a different price doesn’t seem to work in Cloud 25.1. Or may be we are missing something. Could someone assist to verify what is missing? I have tested this for POs with an Inventory Part line, Non Inventory part line and a No part line as well. Hi,We recently noticed an issue, whereby Attachments cretaed on the system, end up as a record with no File Path or BLOB data. As a result, the attachment is not useable.  It happens frequently enough to be a concern, but also the majority of Attachments get created without any issue. Its just the occasional one. Any clues as to what may cause this? Thanks,Martin

Hi there 😀. The indicatior “create SM object” will create a serial object. My question is for the rental process:Doesn’t the CO in rental create a serial object? Hi all,When I release a DOP order, a Shop Order is automatically created. We created a group payment for the ISO20022 payment method with multiple external payments and two intercompany transactions. The payment file and the return file from the bank has the two intercompany transactions in the xml file. After matching, the two IC transaction amount is booked against an external supplier as Supplier payment on account (SUPOA). What might be the issue ? Are we allowed to group external and intercompany payments?

I am in the process of introducing kanban-circuits for a certain product line of ours. The Product Structures contain some parts with serial tracking “At Receipt and Issue”.If we want to satisfy the serial tracking, we need to scan the parts somewhere in the process.If that happens in the assembly line, we can use kanban-circuits but we lose time in manufacturing, because scanning of some of the parts is not trivial.If the scanning happens in the warehouse, we can not use kanban and we create work in the warehouse, which we wanted to relieve by introducing kanban in the first place.Does anyone have experience with kanban/serial tracked parts and ran into a similar problem?How did you solve it?

Hi All.We have received an inquiry from a customer and would like to know how to implement this in IFS Cloud.1. For example, when sales reach ¥1 billion, grant ¥100 million worth of service credits (similar to point management systems used by electronics retailers or Amazon).2. Subsequently, when receiving orders from that customer, offset the order amount using the service credits. If any balance remains after the offset, we want to generate an invoice for that remaining amount.3. It should also be possible to combine and use multiple service credits together.4. Service credits should have an expiration date and become unusable once expired.This functionality corresponds to the rules in IFRS 15.70 - 72.

Hi,We are getting an Authentication Failure when we try to do a Test Transfer for the CIS Verification (from our Test IFS Cloud Database)We have double checked that the Tax Report details agree to the details we see if when we log onto the Government Gateway with the User Name and Password.Any ideas? WE are using our live HMRC Governemnt Gateway User Name and Password. Should we have a test User Name? There is no mention of that in the UK Country Solution Document 23R1.pdfCheers,Graham
