Hello,Is it possible to setup a Campaign with different discount-% depending on who the sales person it?As example:Part number 123456 with a list price of 1000 EuroOrder created by Sales person 1 = gets 5% discountBut if Sales person 2 make as identical order, he will get 10% discount?A sort of Level 1, level 2, level 3 discount structure that copies the different discounts into the Customer Order automatic, depending on who the Main Rep. is.We are currently on Apps9, pending switch to Cloud, so question goes for both systems.Thanks,Michael

Hi, we use the rental module to rent out assets.It happens that we sell the asset to the customer renting it. Currently we end the rent, transer the asset back in (virtual) and ship it back out (virtual). Not in real life off course, only in IFS.Is this possible in one go? So we rent out, and the customer doing the rental is buying the goods. Thanks!

In APPS 10 IEE, if you have a Purchase Order with multiple lines on a single supplier, and need to have multiple lines pegged to each other as the supplier needs to use 2 of the parts on the order to manufacture a third part, can you peg the lines together. I can peg shop orders together, shop orders to purchase orders and purchase orders to shop orders, but can’t find a way of pegging either one purchase order to another purchase order, or in this example trying to peg one line from a purchase order to a different line on the same purchase order. If it’s  not possible in APPS 10 is there another way of doing this 

Hello , I am trying to create the known host file for SFTP connector to send the file out .We are using APP 10 UPD 18 and when I try to execute the below  code in Command Prompt :(replacing the host names  and credentials) java -cp <IFS_HOME>\repository\server\javaruntime\ifs-fnd-connect.jar;<IFS_HOME>\repository\server\dist\lib\jsch-0.1.55.jar ifs.fnd.connect.ftp.SftpClient -CreateKnownHosts=KNOWNHOSTS -hostname=SFTPHOST -username=USERNAME -password=PASSWORD Also tried with jsch-0.1.53 , I get the error saying :com.jcraft.jsch.JSchException: Algorithm negotiation fail        at com.jcraft.jsch.Session.receive_kexinit(Session.java:590)        at com.jcraft.jsch.Session.connect(Session.java:320)        at com.jcraft.jsch.Session.connect(Session.java:183)        at ifs.fnd.connect.ftp.SftpClient.createKnownHostsFile(SftpClient.java:448)        at ifs.fnd.connect.ftp.SftpClient.main(SftpClient.java:422)  Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks in advance. RegardsThej

Hi experts, What is the process if I want to deploy multiple times from the same legacy source in Data Migration Manager? 1st data.ID, nameA aaB bbC cc Transfer and deploy these. 2nd dataID, nameA aaB bbbbD dd(A is unchanged, B has been renamed, C has been deleted and D has been added). Transfer to input container is OK.When transferring from the input container to the output container, I think that if the first data remains approved, B will not be changed and C will be subject to deployment again.If I want to deploy multiple times, do I have to manually delete the data in the output container?What is the correct process flow? Thank you,Eri

Within the Advanced Planning Board in APPS10 IEE there are multiple sorting options to allow you to change the sequence in which SHOP ORDERS are displayed in the GANTT Chart, but none of them appear to be working. We have set up a new Shop Order Priority Category in an attempt to be able to use the “Sort by Precedence” Option in the APB GANTT Chart when Shop Orders are displayed so that those the new Priority Category set for them will be displayed at the top of the list of orders. However clicking of the “Sort by Precedence” option in the RMC display list has no impact whatsoever on the sequence in which the Shop Orders are displayed “in fact none of the 4 “Sort by” options have any impact at all on the sequence.Is there a setting anywhere in the Advanced Planning Board, or in Shop Orders in IFS APPS that needs to be enabled / have specific values set for it, to enable these Sort Functions to work 

We have  issues  in printing and emailing statements in a batch, We are being told that it is a bug and is being fixed, This is a major issue for us.I am interested to find out if anyone else using Cloud is having this issue and other basic functionality within IFS Cloud. If you had this issue, what have you done to resolve this? We are struggling ..I have done many ERP implementations in my career and  this one has been harder.Your experience and feedback for IFS Cloud would be appreciated.Thanks much!

I have been asked whether it is possible to reorder content of the selector in Incident ManagementOn clicking on the selector item to view more detail we can see the following:The head of department has asked if we can order the items e.g.  InvestigationCause Analysisetc….. Is this possible in IFS Apps 10 using page designer.  if yes, could you please advise.If not, would we be able to do this in IFS Cloud 24R1?Thank you.

Does anyone have any additional information regarding the Freight Booking Integration vs the Freight Integration?From my experience, the Freight Integration has been available since 21RX and requires integration specifically with 3rd party broker PaceJet.As of 23R1, I see functionality referring to the Freight Booking Integration.  It appears this may be related to the Freight functionality available in previous IFS versions (Apps 9/10, etc.)What are the intended differences between these offerings?

Hi,One of our customers is trying to use Document Transmittal functionality and send the documents in the transmittal via E-mail. When this is tried out in IEE, it opens a new e-mail with all the documents attached, but the same is not available for Aurena. When looking for this in the community, I found the below post, and it states, this works in IFS Cloud 23R2 and above.Do anyone of you know, whether the same solution will be made available in Apps 10 Aurena? Hi All,Assuming all users should see Custom objects, I believe we should add them to ‘global’ context instead of defining custom contexts and define rules.How does adding custom objects to ‘global’ context affect Release Updates/Service Updates?In addition , I assume ‘Rebasing’ is also a painstaking manual task.I would like to know IFS recommendations on this.

23.1.4.Sales Part 123 with Supply Code = Shop Order.Inventory Part 123 shows Mfg Lead Time = 7 and Expected Lead Time = 7.Fixed and Variable Lead Times by Hour = 0.Zero on hand inventory.Distribution Calendar = 5 day M-F.Picking Lead Time = 2.Today is 10/17/23.Enter a customer order line with a Wanted Delivery Date = 10/18/23.Availability Check returns “The due date is earlier than today’s date. Earliest possible delivery date is 2023-10-31.”But, the dates on the customer order line do not change. Wanted Delivery/Target/Planned Delivery/Planned Ship dates remain 10/18/23.Is this standard behavior with Supply Code of Shop Order?

  Hello,  I am trying to set up the inter company process in order to create an instant invoice in one company which will create a supplier invoice in the other company. Once on the “multi company supplier invoice” window, I used the “verify invoice” option and got this error message saying the supplier does not exist even though the supplier does exist for this customer company.  Moreover connectivity message shows the following error message even though the tax liability field was filled on the supplier window : Y01 is the internal customer.Does anyone know what can be the origin of these two error messages plz? ThanksTanya

Hello all,I am trying to use the functionality Delegate Role/Role Delegation in IFS Cloud (22R2SU7).The aim is to share rights of supervisor having subordinates to an employee within the same company, but without nay subordinates.We use matrix org structure and both Supervisor and Employee with delegation assignment use positions from the same matrix org structure.Even I add full access in role delegation I cannot see any expenses of supervisor subordinates which are waiting for approval.The setup of the role delegation looks as follows Any idea if there is some other setup needed? Thank you.

deHi, I have a situation like this:  1 Service task with 3 demand lines as you can see in the pic.Detail of 2nd rowDetail of 3th row I have several technicians who could meet this case, however for the PSO the activities are unallocated. The PSO does not allocate the activities because it considers that ALL the skills (those on ALL 3 lines) are sent to the PSO as needed for ALL activities. How can I send to the PSO, for that single line only the skills that are needed and not all those needed for entire task? I hope I have managed to explain myself.I attach further images for more details:I know Res:54 is eligible for activity 121:   

Hello.I have to make an event on the TECHNICAL_OBJECT_REFERENCE_TAB table, an event which uses the AFTER CREATE, AFTER UPDATE and DELETE AFTER keywords.My event uses the filter “NEW:LU_NAME=PartCatalog”, the action is execute online sql type, and I would need to know how I can identify if the user fires an INSERT / UPDATE / DELETE.About INSERT, I guess the test “&OLD:TECHNICAL_CLASS IS NULL AND &NEW:TECHNICAL_CLASS IS NOT NULL” can do the stuff, but I don’t know how to know if the user fires an UPDATE or a DELETE, as both &OLD:TECHNICAL_CLASS and &NEW:TECHNICAL_CLASS have a value.Thanks

hi all, It is identified the currency code part is defaulted in some company templates e.g. Germany it is H and for Czech it is F and it is not possible to change at create company stage. Any specific reason for defaulting the code part in template? What is the workaround to change it? (we need to keep one code part across the group even companies belong to different countries.)Thank you.

When attempting to upgrade the app8 database to a cloud database, there are errors due to obsolete packages and functions.  According to the deployment scripts, the RECEIPT_INVENTORY_LOCATION_API package was successfully removed from the database a few hours ago, yet this error persists.Additionally, these packages and functions had been removed from the deployed database.Question: Why are these invalid compilation errors appearing for non-existent packages/functions?

Hello, When working with BPA Worfklows, User Interaction Type, there is a way to hide the cancel button:   The result is as follows:   You can see that while the Cancel button is hidden, the Exit Cross at the top left is not. I’m getting some weird behavior where, if you do NOT hide the Cancel button, then clicking the Cross effectively acts as a cancellation button, and cancels the workflow execution If you DO hide the button however, clicking the exit cross causes the following error:  Is there a way to either hide the cross entirely, or make the cross behave in a fashion that does not result in an error? (For example, calling a separate task or api etc if the user hits the cross). Basically, is there a way to control for the user hitting the cross in any way if you’ve hidden the Cancel button from the form ?
