Hi Everyone, Is there a way to Grant a Permission Set for Users by default, when they are being Provisioned through SCIM Configuration with Azure AD? I saw many had asked this question before, and that RnD was working on this feature. Hello,When we navigate in a product structure (TDC5961 for example), a data mapping error due to type mismatch occurs.The components don’t go back. What is strange is that all the lower TDC orders are indeed present but do not "retranscribe" as components. The error does not come from the product structure either, which is in "Constructible" status and the components are also associated with it. I looked on Community and they refer to support tickets. In addition, the error is random, sometimes it happens on TDCs taken over and other times on new TDCs created. Same on the levels, sometimes the upper level is devoid of components but at the lower level they are there. 🙁 We had compared the IFS 7.5 and Cloud tables and no change. We have automation to create part numbers based on templates. I’m creating new parts based on the template setup and receiving this error “Error in SetManufactureStructureStatus- Item_num:4712032 Error:ORA-20110: ProdStructAlternate.NO_COMP: An Alternative without Components cannot be promoted to Buildable.” I’ve looked to see where I can add components to the alternative but can’t see where there even is an alternative. Has anybody seen this before?

We currently have IFS App10 UPD 15 MWS running on-prem on Windows 2016 servers. Our database is Oracle 12.2. Our client wants to migrate to their AWS Cloud.We are going to test this out with our development environment first as proof of concept. We will be moving a copy of the 12c database to Oracle 19c in the AWS cloud. IFS MWS will be created on a Windows 2016 server in the AWS cloud. We would like to know if anyone has done this already, and what issues were encountered and how they were solved.

We would like to create a dropdown to select a user where the dropdown list only contains users that are in a specific user group. This seems like a somewhat normal thing to want to do but we can’t figure out any way to do it in the application. The list would have to show the users actual name as our ID numbers aren’t really easy to relate to people or remember.

Hi everyone We are currently using a custom event to copy document object connections from “routing operation” to “shop order routing operation”, because the transformation doesn’t work for us in this case. This works very well.Know we have the Case that the Shop Order gets created via Customer Order or Project. The users in Sales Team oder Project users don’t have access to all Documents which have to be copied. Hi,We are having a requirement on user role setup, whereas a set of users should have access only to create the Mixed Payment but not approve and another set of users should have access only to approve the Mixed Payment but not create.In simple terms Creator should not have access to Approve and Approver should not have access to Create.Is this feasible with User roles & Permission sets? If yes, could you please help us with the setup. We are using Apps 10 & Aurena.Thanks in Advance.

Please excuse me for the simple explanation. I was wondering if it is possible to send an E-invoice (customer invoice) with the attached document. This means can IFS CLOUD send out an E-invoice with an embedded PDF document? is there in IFS a transformer available? 

We have issues with sending customer invoices to our invoice broker. We use the IFSFinvoice Mapping document to analyse what has gone wrong but we find that IFS produce the outgoing file with fields that are not covered in the mapping document. It seems the mapping document is obsolete.Our mapping document is: IFSFinvoice mapping (RD-ADM - 1278241 - 1 - A10) - 1, dated 2021-10-19.Is there a valid mapping document that we can obtain in any way.We run IFS APPS 10 UPD 17.

Hello All,We are attempting to be IAS 21 compliant,  in regards FX translations.  We have asked IFS consultants and the IFS Customer Success team but cannot get a satisfactory answer,   Currently in IFSClosing FX rates are entered into a designated field in IFS on a weekly/monthly basisIn the GL Balance Analysis IFS converts all NZD balances to AUD (parallel currency) at the transaction/voucher dates using the closing FX rates entered into IFS.This is not aligned with the IAS 21 currency conversions. RequiredWe should be able to enter Closing FX rates and Average FX rates into IFS on a monthly basisIn line with IAS 21 – we would like IFS to be able to do the FX conversion per below:All P&L accounts balances in NZD (for the period/ year to date) converted to AUD (parallel currency) using the Average FX rateAll Balance Sheet accounts converted to AUD using the Closing FX rate

I got a question from our customer about a button that I have not been aware of earlier, and it is only visible when certain criteria's are met (“Notification type: Manual”, ”Invalid: True”, “Status: Completed”)I have tried to dig in the IFS documentation, but have not been able to find any information regarding this. From the wording of the button I expect it to send out a notification/e-mail that the Previously sent notification no longer is valid. but I have not been able to find out how this is set up.Note: For the Persons that are set up to receive the Notification automatically, For instance on Incident status changes. Will receive the notification for this, but there are no notification that the previous notification/Email no longer is valid. It just sends out a new notification as an addition.Does anyone here have any know

Hi,I added a custom attribute in the SrvRequest but I cannot it see it in the Page (SrvRequestVirtual, because is the page Assistant), therefore I created a group in the page to enter the value. When the Service Request is created the value entered before is not there (please see screenshot below). Am I doing something wrong?

I’m interested in learning how other members of the community are managing MRBs (Material Review Boards) for subassemblies. Currently, we are encountering a hard stop error whenever we attempt to consume a subassembly part that is associated with an open MRB into the parent shop order. The error message reads: "Component part serial 'part number/' exists in an open MRB case; receipt cannot be processed."While we are able to issue the component to the shop order, we are unable to complete the shop order receipt due to this issue.For context, the MRB pertains to a limited subset of impacted parts, not all parts of that part number. Additionally, these parts are both serial and lot-tracked, but it seems the MRB screen does not support the use of unique identifiers. We’re currently on Apps 10.Any insights or best practices on how to handle this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,When creating a Material Requisition to book out Inventory can you set up a favorites list?This is more for people who regularly book out the same consumables so they don’t always have to go searching for part numbers. Not sure if IFS has this capability or not. Thank you 

Where can I define on how a new engineering part part number should look like ?It should be 10 digits long with zero leading .. like 0000000001, 0000000002 etc.Also where can the next free “number” be defined (we are already at the number 0000054321) ?We are at ifs cloud 23.1.6Thanks, Roger

However, they’re now interested in converting some of these objects into serial objects while preserving all past transactions linked to them. I’d like your expert feedback on the approach we're considering for this request and to know if any of these options should be reconsidered. We’re looking at around 40 objects, all of which include measurement details, PM actions, and WOs, but no financial transactions. Here are my proposed options:Create manual serial objects: Reuse the same functional object ID and migrate historical transactions from functional objects via DR script. Hello All, Here is my situation. I have a customer on Apps10 that has multiple remote locations (field reps) that hold fixed amounts of inventory, that need to be replenished frequently. The replenishment inventory comes from an FGI warehouse onsite. The customer services people use a spreadsheet to determine if a replenishment is required and then create transport tasks manually.I know that the easiest and simplest way to create is to use Kanban, however this customer does not own Kanban so we are trying to use Remote warehouses with replenishment via Putaway zones. The crazy thing is as I’ve tried things here and there I have gotten things to work on some parts but not others, and I can’t seem to find how I got it to work.I’ve included all my setup in the attached document. Any help would be appreciated

Hello All,I'm looking for some guidance on token authentication to/from PSO from a third party application.Referring to the SchedulingSchema.pdf I know that the load file needs to be constructed to contain a <Broadcast> block with a <broadcast_type_id> of 'REST'.The load file will also need <Broadcast_Parameters> containing 'auth_token_url', 'username' and 'password'.  From my understanding, when these entries are in the load file, when the load file is received and processed the Broadcast Manager will use the mentioned credentials to authenticate using client credentials flow.This is where I am looking for further clarification.Does PSO store the received token in the PSO database?If PSO does store the token in the PSO database, do the subsequent DSE Broadcasts contain the token in each broadcast message?  If the token is NOT contained in the DSE Broadcast messages can PSO be configured to add the token to ALL DSE Broadcas
