Hi I have a big problem.I create a customer order to company A from an external customer.When I release it, it creates a purchase order with a part which is a purchased part (with components to send to the supplier). The supplier in an internal supplier in another company B.I can’t ship the components to the supplierThe only function I have in the purchase order is “Purchase order line compents” Please could you help me ?I have a question :Is it possible to do full subcontracting with postdeduction of components in the intercompany flow ? Thanks for your ansmers BR

Hello, I am currently using Crystal Reports to build custom Operation Report layouts. One thing we were told by our consultants, is that Operational Reports cannot have multiple views active, they only have access to the one rep view that is already defined by IFS. Our consultants mentioned it has something to do with permissions and that IFSPRINT/IFSAPP need their permissions expanded on in order to achieve this.Is this correct? How do we go about linking other views to our rep view so we can add in other fields?Thanks,Bryan

Is it possible to lock a user account after failed logon attempts in IFS CLoud?In previous releases when a user was still an oracle user, it was possible using oracles profiles. How can this be accomplished for users in IFS Cloud?We are on version 21R2 SU11 at the moment

In applications 10 I have soap capabilities to retrieve the customer price for an item.   I am looking for the Rest function that I can pass a customer, currency, part list and retrieve the price for the customer. 

Have a QR with several API calls. This is constantly timing out, though I am able to see all the rows on the DB through PL/SQL Will the  TCP Idle Timeout value in the load balancer make a significant difference to the execution of the QR?  

Hello community.I’m looking for help to identify the parameter(s) in FSM6.25 that determine the number of open bill schedules.  In our current configuration, we are generating 1 for annual, 4 for quarterly and 12 for monthly which creates certain challenges when it comes to maintenance and reporting activities.  In actuality, we really on need the next bill schedule to be generated.  Any suggestions?Thanks,Richard

Hi,I’m in Cloud 22R1 I try to upload this file STDSIN1 external file that is encoding in UTF-8 via Batch Process I do not specified any specific character set parameters  in FILE READER nor FILE TEMPLATE .As per the technical doc, UTF-8 is the default encoding for IFS  IFS connect process well the filebut the  background job falls in error   And when i check the External File load ID, the import file process does not have taken in account the returm line. Instead of 5 rows H,I,N,P,T the load file id is loaded with only one row Any idea how to fix this issue ?

I am new to IFS and I am trying to understand the process of attaching a specific approval template to an attachment area that will trigger the approval process when a document is first attached or an existing attached document is edited.  Can anyone help? 

In our product set up, we use PSO in tandem with IFS Cloud WO Management. PSO continuously schedules and optimized work-tasks, and broadcast plans back to Cloud.What I’m trying to understand is how/when data is being exchanges between PSO and Cloud. I can see in PSO when data is being broadcasted, but I have not yet found where in Cloud I can see how this plan is being processed.Can anybody put me on the right track?

I have a customer order for which I have a matching Purchase Order from my customer.  This CO will take output from the sales from a WO and is not limited to the lines that are on the CO.  Does IFS have functionality that will block the invoice if it exceeds the customer’s PO amount?Thank youPatrick

Hi, We are having repeat problems when creating receipts for Inventory Parts over the month end period. Often raw materials arrive over the weekend, and sometimes the last day of the month is a Saturday or Sunday, but they are not booked until Monday. When trying to backdate the receipt, it says it cannot be done because of the Inventory Statistics period being incorrect. Prior to Transferring Inventory Transactions, I tried going into the Inventory Transaction Details to change the applied date and had the message: “The new date must be equal to or greater than the start date of the latest period in the inventory value statistics” There has to be a way to allow this to happen. Can anyone help please? Thank you, John

Are conditional required fields possible in the FSM Smart Client?For example, if REQUEST.REQ_TYPE = “Some Value” then  REQUEST.USER_DEF1 is required else it is not required.Thanks,Barry

Hello,  I would ask you a question. I have problem with saving Custom field/object. I created two Custom Fields, one “Note” which is Persistent Field and one “Created Date” which fetch date from db. (Read only field). It is possible to modify CF “Created Date” in IFS cloud if it is Field type Read Only Field? Because I can update this value, but in this entity I dont have green button “Save”, after reuploading page CF has default value and not new, modified, value.  Thanks

I hope someone can help me to point me towards the possible solution direction.A project needs to be closed but unfinished activity work is preventing this from happing. It is about Multi-Company Project Reporting of hours that have been registered a year ago.I am getting this message: There is at least one Project Transaction which has not been completely invoiced or where Multi-Company Reporting Revenue voucher has not been created.Based on the data I think it has something to do with the value in the column invoicability. The value is invoiceable.From experience, I know that changing the Invoicability to Not Invoiceable can solve the unfinished activity work. Therefore, I expected that changing the value will solve the unfinished activity work.Changing it directly on the Project Transaction is not possible due to the source of the transaction is MCPR.So, I created Correction Transaction to change the value, but afte

Hi All I am trying to work out an issue on user access, I have a user who can create a new manual supplier invoice and then save however when they move into the posting proposal screen they have access to see everything but they are not able to create a new posting line. the bit i am struggling with is we have 2 legal entity’s on our system and when they are in one this access is fine but when they switch to the other company they lose the ability to do this. they are in the correct user group, is there anywhere else you can think to check to see if this user needs to be added ?

Currently when we are matching invoices , it allows us to change the Qty and/or price without any limits. It only gives an information message and the account payable office can click ‘OK’ and proceed.We use no-part purchase orders mostly. Is there a standard approval workflow , where we can stop the AP from clicking Yes and proceeding ? Or is this something that need to be customised ?  

I am unable to access the IFS MWO Service app because it will continue to initialize with seemingly no end. I tried changing the sync rule for CustomerInfo and SCCustomerContract from “exclude” to “include” to see if that would get the app to display some missing data, but that ended up incurring the initialization error I am currently encountering. I reverted the sync rule back to what it originally was but that did not fix the issue. Please let me know if you know how to solve this issue.
