Is it possible to deploy PSO v6.15 to the same middletier kubernetes cluster setup for IFS Cloud FSM (24R1)?

Hi James,

I’d recommend to install PSO into a dedicated K8s Cluster. This will make maintaining and administrating the K8s Cluster more flexible than using the same Cluster as IFS Cloud. Also the systems would not have to contend for resources.

You can also find an example of an PSO K8s Architecture connected with IFS Cloud in the PSO Architecture and Sizing Guide:

The PSO K8s Cluster looks as following:

Thanks. Would it be supported to use a separate Azure AKS cluster to deploy each product?  Or IFS Cloud must use microk8s?

The VM image inside the IFS Cloud remote deployment artifacts is based on microk8s. You can find more details about it here:
https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r2/070_remote_deploy/010_installing_fresh_system/010_planning_installation/007_middle_tier/005_overview_remote/

For PSO you could actually choose to deploy it into AKS as long as the prerequisites (listed in the PSO Installation Guide, see attached P. 83) are satisfied. However, there is no official support for the AKS platform itself.
