Hello,The issue is related to deletion of some of the tax records from Tax Transactions screen, after analysis it was found that we have an option on the screen ‘Tax Ledger Parameters’ named as ‘Delete Tax Transactions with Status False’.Can someone please help in understanding the business logic and purpose of this option, and why it only works when Tax method is selected as ‘Payment’ in supplier invoice. ThanksSurbhi

Hello All,Hoping someone can help me here.  We have a customer that apply material overhead to a work task.  I have set up the cost elements, buckets and templates and added the template to parts.  This process works and the OH is calculated on the work task as expected.  The issue we are faced with is the customer updates their OH rates on a quarterly bases.  When I run the update part specific overheads the system changes the rate even if the end date is specified.  I also noticed that I ran the update on Sept 12 but the date of the last activity did not change, although the field level details state it was the last time the record was updated.  Here is the issue.  Even if I add a new line and end date the first line when I run the update job it changes the rate for both lines, therefore losing historical rates.  Should this job not allow to end date previous rates and insert a new rate based on the date the update is performed?In the example below when the material is issued to the

Trying to find out if there are any known instances where IFS CLOUD has been implemented and integrated with a Document / Content Management system called Hyland OnBase. I’ve checked the Hyland OnBase website which lists multiple integrations but the list doesn’t include IFS. I’m trying to find out if this will be a “first of a kind”, or if its been done previously elsewhere

Hi all,I need to update a field on task level.The value is a combination of two other fields. A Date field and a minutes fied. Those two needs to be combinend (e.g. 02/02/2024 11:00 + 60:00 so the value is 02/02/2024 12:00)I tried via expressions, but then it will take the value of the field Before the update (old value).

Hi,I am working with a customer who will use Work Task Templates (WTT) to build the work order data within a Service Quotation.The problem I have is that the Work Task Steps linked to the Work List line in the WTT are not transferring to the related Work Task when the Service Quotation is accepted. The Task Steps are blank. If I add the WTT to a new work order the Work Task steps are added to the Work Task as expected.This seems like an oversight of IFSNote: I am working on APPS 10 Update 14.

Good Day  Does anyone know of a manual that exist for FSM? I have been asking around and seem to be getting no response.  Maybe I am asking the wrong question or area for this question.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated 

Community,Our experience tell us, in window Engineering Revision Transfer Actions, the column PDM Preliminary Rev. Change will be updated to Changed status, and the column Proposed Start Date is not updated, it will still keep the date when the last transfer date took place. Our request is, if the column PDM Preliminary Rev. Change is updated from Not Changed to Changed, the Proposed Start Date should also be updated to the current system date.for example, below part is transferred to production on 9/6/2024, I updated the part structure today, i.e. 9/13/2024, can system also update the column Proposed Start Date to 9/13/2024?  

Hi,  I want to run the periodical capitalization and revenue recognition transaction, but for 3 projects I’m not able to post/close the voucher.I’m able to run the capitalization, execute the revenue recognition and acknowledge. But not able to create the voucher.These projects are 3 old projects where the ‘valid until’ is in the past and the financial project status was initially closed but I reopened it since I got errors and tried to just book a zero value.Status in project navigator = closed.I also tried to delete the lines, but that is not possible either.All other lines with active projects are posted/closed. We cannot close the internal ledger because of this issue.What should I do to solve?  Thank you!

Hello, We are working in IFS cloud v24r1 SU3 In the document management structure of IFS we have a very simple set up. one person group with every user in the group. The group has full access to the access templates we have set up on the app. I would like to know the capabilities of distributing the documents in the platform. is there a way to distribute attached documents to everyone in the person group? is there a way to distribute attached documents to people i select within the group of people

Good afternoon, Is there any brief summary of the setup needed to have the <Attachment> tag populated in Italian E-invoice so that the .pdf copy is attached to it? In IFS Cloud, we can easily define this in the E-invoice Processing Type if we toggle ON the option Include Invoice Image, however, in Apps10 there is no such menu and the invoices do not contain anything in the <Attachment></Attachment> section. So, does anybody know which are the mandatory settings required in order to have the .pdf copy attached? Thank you in advance!

In the external file template for voucher file, it is not possible to import Currency Rate. The field is not available. Currency Rate type is available, but not the rate.If we import a voucher with foreign and local amounts, the exchange rate will be retrieve from the system. However, it will not match the transactions. In the example below, both the currency and local amount have been imported.100 EUR and 1100 SEK is imported on each line - Exchange rate 11,5135 was retrieved by the system - it should have been 11,0000 when you look at the transactions.Is something missing which need to be added so the exchange rate can be imported? Can we get IFS to automatically calculate the correct exchange rate, in case both amounts are supplied?Using cloud 23.1.6

Hi,we use external supplier invoice function (STDSIN1) to import somes supplier invoices. By default, these invoices are import like “Preliminary”. is it possible to import like “Posted Auth” ?Why I ask this, it is because we have several hundred invoice to import and to change to “Posted Auth”.Best Regards, Christophe

I created a mapping to mass import serial objects with an Excel file, I managed to get all the desired fields working except for a "Belongs to Object ID" and I don't understand why this field doesn't start working. update when I insert a new serial object. I modified the "Flags" several times but it didn't change anything. *I specify that this field contains a list of objects already existing in the database Thank’s  

Hi Everyone, I have configured the SCIM Provisioning for IFS Cloud with AzureAD. When the Users are provisioned, the ‘Identity’ attribute is created using a combination of name.givenName and name.familyName (as mentioned in the Technical Documentation). Is there a way to override this default behaviour and set a custom value?  Is there a SCIM attribute for this we could use to map a custom value to? Appreciate any information on this. Best Regards,Devin Amarasekara  

Hi,  When we try to set a task due date for a case, we always get this message: “task due date exceeds expected response date”.We can’t work out how to prevent this. It doesn’t stop us setting the date.Any thoughts?

Hi together,how can I account for the 5 step model required under IFRS 15 Revenue recognition in IFS 10?A possible clients asked about it whether IFS 10 has equivalent possibilities to acccount for IFRS 15 like external Enterprise Revenue Management softwares, e.g. Softrax or Workday.Does anybody know how the flow works in IFS 10 (maybe via a combination of Contract Management, Project Management and Financials?) or whether the client will better need an external software after his upgrade to IFS? Thank you!Mathias

Hi,  User created PO for QTY 28,764.08 EA and unit price is $1.00. User created two receipts one for QTY 3,500 ea and 25,264.08 ea. For 3,500 ea recevied an invoice and match without any additional steps. Recevied balance QTY 25,264.08 ea and recevied second supplier invoice for only 5000 ea and matched. System is asking for additonal authorization.  

Hi All,I have created a new custom component(module) in the Customer Solution Repository.My plan is to commit all ACPs and also new MODs not related to Core components keep in this new custom component(module) and then deliver to Use Place environments via deliveries.I have not seen any issues with this approach in previous Cloud versions as well (Say 22R1).Does IFS have any formal recoomandations/any known issues in using a custom component(module) in 24R1 or we can continue on the same process we had earlier as well.

Hi,Deliveries created in BuildPlace cannot be deleted or disapproved. Till now was possible to just do not approve delivery and delete DEL environment. Delivery was still shown, but it couldn’t be approvable.Since Portal version 23.2.0, delivery can be approved anytime.But I do not want it, there was something missing in that delivery, we created newone with same starting point with additional commits. And we want remove this delivery.is there any way how to do it?

Hi All,When executing an operational report via a Command added in the Page Designer, the report is output directly without displaying a parameter input dialog, as shown in the screen below.Is it possible to display a parameter input dialog, similar to APPS9, when running the operational report? Currently, the data from the selected record is passed to the parameters when the Command is executed, but there is no option to manually input the desired parameters.
