Hello,

Our customer has the following scenario:

Technicians have a shift template of 50 hours per week. However, they are only allowed to work a maximum of 38.5 hours per week. For example, a technician might work 10 hours on Monday, but in that case, they would need to work fewer hours on the remaining days so that the total weekly hours do not exceed 38.5.

We’ve tried to replicate this for PSO using utilization or shift utilization, but these features are based on daily utilization and don’t help manage the weekly total effectively.

Do you have any suggestions on how we could model this in the system?

We are using PSO integrated with IFS Cloud.

Best regards,

Iulia

Hi @Iulia Petrin

From a PSO perspective, I believe the functionality you're describing—limiting resource utilization on a weekly basis is not directly supported by Utilization Templates in PSO. Utilization Templates are designed to apply utilization restrictions on a per-shift basis, affecting how much of each a resources shift is expected to be utilized (as you have described ). I guess this is an enhancement request when considering the current utilization templates of the PSO product.
