Hello,    Currently have a customer that creates a handful of OEM parts designated for key customers, and do not want those parts to be available to their other customers.             I’ve been able to create multiple assortments and when creating a CO, the system will only pull in the parts that are assigned to that customer.  However, if I create a sales quotation the system will allow me to pull in all parts vs just the ones assigned to that specific customer             I attempted to convert the sales quote into an order and the system will throw an error message that those parts are not assigned to to those customers, so that part works however customer does not want to mistakenly quote certain parts.             Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated Thank you,Joe

I have been advised that FSM 6 goes into extended support in January 2026 and then into restricted support in January 2029. However, I have not been given any further information on if this will incur additional fees, or what alternative products IFS have available other than IFS Cloud (which is a 7 x more expensive). Does anyone know anywhere I can find out more or know themselves?

Our Finance Team (in Viet Nam) has a request to edit Tax Code in Purchase Order Lines and they need to perform this change without creating a Change Order.The main reason is due to government regulations changes from time to time, so they need flexibility to edit Tax Codes in Purchase Order Lines. We have done some internal investigations and noticed that “Planned Delivery Date” can be changed even after Purchase Order Lines have been authorized but Tax Codes cannot be changed without creating Change Orders.Does anyone know a valid reason for this? Thank you 

Hi,Was trialling the tech portal (Cloud 23R2). It appears that the completed area of the tech portal is coded only to show assignments 30 days in the past. What if we want to show 60 days in the past? Is there a possibility? Why was it hardcoded in the first place? TIA

Hello, I am trying to setup a Object Connection Transformation that will allow user to view all documents associated with Case Tasks on the parent Case. I’ve gotten the reverse situation to work (view the Case documents on a Case Task). See screenshots attached. Is this a situation where you need to define a custom transformation function? Is that something that you have to do in the build place or can it be accomplished through the IFS cloud itself? I have a Case with 1 document attached and a Case Task with one document attached. At the case level, I would expected to see 2 attachments, but am seeing one with the current configuration.

Hi All I am receiving the error - The Destination object already has approval steps’ when trying to create a new revision of a document which is connected to a document folder.   The new revision does create, however, the file and access rights do not copy over and also the object connection is also removed.I can see no approvals that are ‘in progress’ or that should affect this.  Can anyone offer any guidance on this please?We are in IFS10 UP24

References can be used in filters and are also expandable items. Hence, we can have a saved query that filters on a value in a reference. Example: find the inventory parts for planner with name ‘Kenneth Pettersson’. We are running the cleanup of inventory background job daily, we have this set to 0 days before current date so it will clear everything with an old activity date. The job is running each day as I can see that it is clearing out inventory, however I am left with lines that will not clear. These lines have 0 on hand quantity, 0 in transit, are not frozen and the last activity date is prior to the job being executed.  The transaction history for these parts are also showing as old dates.  Is there anything else that would block these lines from clearing when the cleanup background job is executed? Thanks

After generating the Business Report, I tried saving it as a PDF using the 'Save As' option from BR options, but the option is inactive. What could be the reason?  

How can I set up to be notified when a new RMA is created for a particular customer?

We are struggling to find a solution for keeping track of data changes, for example, on customer order line columns such as quantity, date, and price.Some solutions can read the Oracle archive log to identify changes and replicate deltas to Data Warehouse which would be very efficient. However, some of our data doesn't come directly from tables but involves IFS built-in APIs. Therefore, we may need to extract data from views instead of reading the logs of tables. This means that we must extract a full load of data from views and perform certain procedures to identify changes, but it isn’t effecient this way. 

I have a user who is asking a question about why a specific control type within a posting type cannot be changed (FAP51/AC1).  Are there ‘out of the box’ posting type/control type that cannot be changed?  The effort is to change the control type within the posting type, but they are unable to do so.Thank you for your consideration.Robin

Hi, It is found that now a workflow cannot be deployed since in one of projection action call we set the projection name from a parameter. Is this a known issue?version 24R2 Best Regards,Methshika  

Hi,How it is possible to calculate Overheads to Shop Order, without it increases the WIP in Shop Order? GL Automatic Posting Rule is not a choice (for creating automatic posting for Debet M45 / Credit M40 after Overheads are applied), because of Shop Order’s value still gets increment.I tried to create a new Cost Set for this purpose, but I cannot see anywhere those Overheads at all.Any suggestions?Thank you all already!

Hi,Hope someone can help. We are on the IFS Cloud 24R1. We are using MWO Service with old gen service solution (service quotation, not request quotation).When you are on My Work you have a button to create new service quotation on the existing assigned task. When you click on it, the page prompts you to create a new quotation, new work order and the new task. Is there a way to create quotation which would be already connected to the work order/task from which you initiate the quotation process?This functionality exists for the full access users in IFS Cloud where you can create quotation on the existing work order so would be nice if you could the same on the MWO.Thanks

HiI’ve followed the tutorial on how to setup the master-detail relationship on a Report Studio designed layout and although i can publish and use the layout, i am only seeing one of the lines on the output when there are three in the _REP table.Anyone else tried the tutorial?Thanks Jay

It totally sucks that every time it is necessary to compare Custom atribute vs what was added in standard manually.The same issue occures not only on partner side (doing it for cusotmer) but also on customer side.It is really nice that on presales PPT there is a info that customer can create custom atribute himself but in IFS cloud it is terrible when you take into account Release Update (RU) or Service Update (SU).Hope there will be any uselful response not that we will look into it and after year there will be dozens of comments and no asnwer.Thank youRegardsNicole Valentine

When applying includes on a string variable : I’m getting the following error :  CustomerOrderHandling_Error_Log is well a string and i’m not able to apply the includes function. any idea why? please? ​@kamnlk  any idea please?
