Hi,Has anyone found a way to convert saved searches in IEE client to Aurena Client/IFS Cloud?We are currently working on upgrading IFS 10 UPD 22 version to IFS Cloud.Users are heavily relying on saved searches to manage their daily tasks. Hi all, We are looking to optimize the way we perform our Inventory count of the Finished goods product in our warehouses.  Currently, we hold shipping for about 3 days to complete performing the inventory and then resume shipping on the 4th day.  Just wondering what some of the different ways in which you are counting your Finished goods inventory.  Do you utilize a 3rd party team?  Do you count/freeze warehouse-by-warehouse?   Any other ways to shorten the time for performing the inventory count? Thanks in advance!D

Here is a scenario: I want to move a Part from one location to a drop-off by one user;  then I want another user to move that part at the drop-off to different location. Currently, I must create a Transport Task moving it from location to drop, then when until that is finished; then create another Transport Task moving it from drop to location. There has to be a way where I can create just ONE Transport Task programing that second move by another user, no?  Does anyone do this, or have a way around this? Thanks,Tony

Community, I have a shop order in Closed status. in below window, i can see the discrepancy in the Cost Variance field in different tab. I expect cost variance $3000, but just don’t sure how 2600 is calculated? Where we could trace how system calculate this value, i.e.2600? Thank you.

Hi I have noticed that after Transferring Payments and Acknowledging them, the expense claim sits as ‘Authorized’ and not ‘Transferred’. Any ideas what might be missing?

When running the cash flow exposure report, the system is considering purchase order lines invoice payments in the future as intended.  The issue I am having is that the report is considering the total value of the PO line and not subtracting any advance payments that have been made to the supplier.  If the over all invoices is for $1,000,000 but we have made $500,000 in advance payments, then the future cash flow should show -$500,000.  It is currently showing the entire $1,000,000.The advance payments are showing as separate lines under the incoming balance section with the cash flow type = Supplier on Acc. PaymentsDoes anyone know how to solve this issue? 

Hi, what’s the easiest method to update the prices of certain characteristics? We have a configuration price list. There is a charachteristic ‘Color’, with the option ‘Yellow’. Let’s say we want to increase the price of the Yellow in every price list with 2%, how can this be done? I don’t see the same logic as with the base price update and the corresponding update of the price lists, as the charecterics are not in the base price? Thanks!

I am having some trouble using the cash flow exposure feature in IFS. I may have setup something wrong, but the immediate concern is that I am getting an error message in the update cash flow analysis snapshot background job.When I run the update cash flow analysis snapshot - I choose company A.The error message is: PaymentTerm.NOPAYTERMEXIST: Payment Term is not defined for the Supplier 30322 for Company A                    ORA-20105: CfaUpdateUtility.ORA-20105 This supplier is not setup for this company. Can a shipment be created for a Purchase Order that is NOT Related/does not have a customer order?If this can be done please explain the steps.  We are using IFS Cloud Web version: 24.1.9.20250205094114.0.A purchase is created with “No Part Lines” as we are sending an inventory part to a supplier for some “processing” and the part would be returned to the same site.  As such, there is no customer order associated to this purchase order.Thanks in advance for any information/help with this issue.

I have created a document revision and add approval steps to create the approval routine within the department. I have disable the option ‘Update Allowed During Approval’. Because of that option any changes on the document couldn’t be performed during the approval. However, Access can be edited and changed during the approval process. Does anyone know the logic behind this behaviour or is it a bug in IFS?

For IFS Cloud installed 23R2 and 24R2, we have a customer who didn’t want to store some documents in Azure but in another location for confidentiality purpose. As the file storage is defined in the general help : IFS Cloud File Storage (File Storage, or FS for short) is a secured generic framework service which can be used to store and retrieve documents from different locations such as Azure Storage and local file shares. This service is especially useful when handling large files or large volumes of files. For more information about IFS Cloud File Storage, look it up in the technical documentation. Could you please confirm it is possible to define several locations including Locql File Shares ? Do we need then to follow : 

We are new to Aurena (Apps10) so this feels like a noob question but…I am searching through all Customer Invoices for a specific Customer and Aurena is only showing me 24 records. I know from using the export to excel function there are 585.Despite looking through the various search and filter options I can see no way to page through the rest of the records or, better still, return all records so I can scroll through (this would be easy in EE). Am I missing something?  

Is the setting of the Credit Approved toggle on Sales Contract based on any other setting?  It is on the General Information tab with the Financial Settings grouping.  It seems I can freely toggle this field even when the Customer’s credit is set to blocked.  How/what/who is controlling this flag?  

HI All,I have an issue in the Rent out process flow.I created a rented out customer order and it delivered to the customer. I started the rental and ended the rental and generated the rental transactions. Then I created the customers return and returned the part in the Inventory.I created the customer invoice and rental transactions are invoiced now. But my rental customer order is still not invoiced closed.I checked all the rental transactions are invoiced. Part is returned to the inventory. No any pending transaction to Invoice.

Is anyone aware of a way to export the IFS navigator to for example Excel?

We are running IFSAPPS9 and have deployed “work center-defined” timeclock terminals on the floor. We use only one time clock type and all employees that use it have the Timeclock User checkbox checked within Employment/General tab.  All work center users have been granted the same permission sets. This doesn’t happen with all employees.  Please refer to the error message attached for an employee that clicked the Clock In button on the terminal.  All timeclock employees also have the REG_NO_AUTH Role Id.  Is this a user profile issue or access issue?

Using a Configuration Combination table to return the component part number and this works OK unless the part number that it returns is a Configured Part. The supply code on the Customer order line is DOP and when I add the configured part as a component it works fine, but when I have a ‘place holder’ part as the componet part (ie just a dummy purchased part part), and then I use a configuration combination to ‘SET’ the componet part to a differant part number, it fails when the part is the configured part.  The error message I get is ‘Unable to process due to error action ‘SET’  Component part XX-XXX must not be a configured part.

I don’t know if I don’t understand the process or there’s a bug, but when I set up SFM for a simple function such as exhaust in the example of this procedure with two causes for the same component, it acts really weird:It duplicated one of the causes when there are two different ones set up.  (I even redid them from scratch to make sure I didn’t mess up) When you select a template that has two causes for one component, it highlights both, but only brings in the one template that applies to both. Where do the values such as Function, Type, Cause, and Component end up on the work order/Work Task?  These are valuable KPIs.Attached is the write up for a customer I’m working on.  They really want to use SFM.@Mayura Wasantha - I know you’re crazy busy, but who can help me with this?

Hi,Is there a way to select the fields that are copied and pasted in list using developer studio in 24r2?I would like the CR No to be blank, so that it will automatically create a new number when it is saved.  I am able to ignore the value it pastes by always creating a new number when it saves a new record, but that is confusing for the user as the number is only correct after it has been saved.Thank you.

We are currently using IFS app 9 and some of the users do use the Simple Data migration Tool. So they use xls files to load data into IFS. Now I'm looking for a similar tool in IFS Cloud and was going through different threads in this community. It seems the future is available in 24R2, but I cannot find any comfirmation on this.  Can anyone tell if it is yet availbale? 

I am using Enterprise Explorer Applications 10 and there is a customer order for a customer that is not blocking but it should be because the customer has a credit limit of zero on the Customer screen (“credit info” tab; credit limit) and also on the header of the customer’s Customer Analysis screen.It isn’t a custom event that is casing it not to block, it must be something internal in IFS. I haven’t been able to trace it. Can anyone shed any light on this?Thank you

Hello experts,I created a workflow for ManualSupplierInvoiceAssistantHandling, which fetches property INVOICE_DESC from supplier > invoice section and replace the invoice voucher text with the fetched value. I am triggering with process enrichment right after ValidateInvoiceHeader(Objkey):VoidHere I must send my special thanks to @dsj for his blog :) When I inspect with end user, the workflow works. When I test with IFSAPP on the test environment, the text is updated successfully on the Manual Supplier Invoice. However, on PROD with the end user, the manual supplier invoice is not getting updated although the workflow is triggered  Here is workflow call after ValidateInvoiceHeader. I checked the permission sets and all looks good to me. Can you maybe comment where I should
