IFS Cloud and transfer of overtime and absence to payroll system - file created is empty...

We are in process of upgrading to IFS Cloud for Apps 10, but transfer payroll files is not working. Payroll file for  overtime and absence is created empty…..  but the travel expense file is created correct.We have created a case to support, but it seems like they struggle to sort this out, and has not provided any solution either.  Anyone who has had the same problem ? if so has it been solved and how ?

Filtering in quick reports

Hello, how can I create in IFS quick reports filtering by som value even before executing whole table? For example, when I want to filter by some part no, something like this:

Travel expence sheet for printing and Norwegian legal requirements

We have been running IFS Applications since 1999 and we are about to go live with IFS Cloud… But IFS Cloud does not meet the Norwegian legal requirements regarding the travel expence sheet, when printed. We have sent the text of law to support… since they were not aware of this… ???? It is simple really, the employees address MUST be visible in the travel expense form, and the dates must be in Norwegian “settings”, dd.mm.yy     Why is this so difficult ?

Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type M1 control type C32 code part A

Good afternoon.We use IFS 7.5. I created a new account. Completed everything the same as the other accounts in this category. But now in the Distribution and Manufacturing posting analysis screen I have 4 error codes ‘’Value is missing or has an invalid time interval for posting type M1 control type C32 code part A’’.This is for inventory parts  Can anyone guide what I did wrong?

BPA Workflow - Integer cannot be cast to BigDecimal

I’m trying to create a WF to calculate the InventoryTurnover KPI.I’m executing a call to InventoryTurnoverRateHandling → GetCurrencyAndTurnoverRate. The call executes successfully if I hardcode the numeric params (from/to Period / Year) However if I wanna use the variables that I set in the previous step → ${fromYear} | ${fromPeriod} | ${toYear} | ${toPeriod} I get an error that Int to BigDecimal cast is not possible: When I look in API explorer I see the API call is expecting numbers. Which is what I already provide. Any ideas what I can do to execute the Projection call inside the workflow using variables and not hardcoded values? @dsj

Connecting SQL Select statements

Hello, I need help in concatenating SQL queries. My aim is to connect 11 columns together in one view or table. First 6 columns is from one view, column 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 are from different views. How can I connect this columns together? Should I use JOINs or UNION? Migration Job SUPP_BLK_PART

Hi community, our customer uses Excel add-in for creating and updating parts in different views. We are trying to create a new job including SUPP_BLK_PART view but there it stops and we can´t run the job in excel. If we remove the view it works. We have also tried and add other vires such as ASSORTMENT_NODE and SELF_SERV_PROC_CATALOG without issues but SUPP_BLK_PART cannot be handled. Have anyone any experience in this? BREmma

Open Requests at Place Popup - Adding a Field

Is it possible to add a column to the “Open Requests at Place” popup that fires on the Request screen after entering a place_id? We want to add Request Type to the below. Looking in UI Designer I though this was the “OPENREQUESTSFORPLACELOOKUP” screen however it appears that is not the case. Is the screen in the screenshot modifiable?Thanks,Barry

Not retrieving correct SQL

Hello,  I want to retrieve note_text from Shipment view, but it always will fetch empty string in IFS Report Designer, could you please give me advice how can I repair it? I would add there filtering by shipment id, but this view is not allowed in additional views, IN additional views are only allowed views which are connected with Customer Order tab, so only CUSTOMER_ORDERThis is my SQL query in CustomerOrder entity: SELECT s.note_text FROM Shipment sJOIN CUSTOMER_ORDER c ON c.COMPANY= s.COMPANYWHERE c.order_no = :order_no arguments: order_no Thanks

Print Manager error: "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

Hello - We are on IFS APP10 IEE - UPD 22.We have one use at one of our locations having issues printing. They will print a large batch job from IFS, and in the Print Manager the bulk of the job will get stuck in “Remote Working” while some jobs will end up in the Error Queue with the error “Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.”.  This one user is reporting this issue frequently lately. I have seen this error a couple times for other users, but not repeatedly as it is for this one user. I’ve Googled this error and it appears to be a Windows message? Is it credential related? Does anyone know how to resolve? If I go in and clear the errored jobs, and then RMB >  “Restart” the jobs in Remote Working, then they will spool.

Can we add api calls in required filter in projections?

Hi All, I am trying to add a custom column using enumeration in standard IFS screen , which is perfectly working fine I am trying to enable the field only on certain conditions. Can we add a API call in the required filter?Trying it the below way but it doesnt work. Enforce configuration. profile settings for IFS end user

Hi All,We are using IFS10 UPD19We wanted to enforce the following options to the end users.1)Number of Pages to Keep in Memory 2)Disable the options in the display tabUse hardware accelerated graphics Borderless window3)Enable the check box for 'Optimize for Slow Network'Currently the users have to go to the user profile and click on the options and then move to advanced and server tabs to make these settings. These settings all have default values which we would like to edit . Are there any configuration files we can change so that it can be enforced on all the end users

Pop-up message in Time registration

Hey community,we are trying to improve the Time registration process for our users and want to add pop-up information message to remind users to confirm their hours entered when week is completed.I have set up a Custom Event to LU TimmanJobTrans and table TIMMAN_JOB_TRANS_TAB. It fires upon new records created and records changed. IFS PSO shift breaks not appearing in resource planner

Hi,I am trying to create a break that appears as white space between the green-colored shifts in the shift templates, but I cannot find it in the resource planner. Please can anyone explain the reason.

Auto populate Cost Cent

When our users complete a No Part Line in a Purchase Order, a pop-up asks for a Cost Cent.  The user has to click in the Cost Cent field, select an item from the drop-down list, Save and then Close.  When there are a lot of line items, this process needs to be followed for each line item.  This is extremely cumbersome when there are a significant number of line items.  Does anyone know of a way of streamlining this process?  For example, is there a way for setting a default Cost Cent (our users typically only use one cost centre)? Can the Cost Cent be populated on the Customer Order line instead of in the pop-up?..

Prevent Part Revision Change in Register Arrivals

I need to prevent a purchase part on a purchase order from having the revision number changed in register arrivals. We have tested enforcing change orders, but this does not prevent someone in the Register Arrivals stage from changing a part numbers revision. The client requires that a change order must accompany “any” change after a purchase order is released.Outside of an event or several events, is there a way to force any change on a purchase order to go through a change order?

Release authorized purchase orders automatically

Hi,Once a purchase order is authorized completely, is it possible to release it automatically by IFS itself? I know we can set up an event to achieve this, but does IFS have a standard configuration for this?Thanks.

Assistance Needed with FSM Mobility App Sending Incorrect Time for Location_as_of Field (GPS Fix)

Issue Description:The customer has encountered an issue where the FSM Mobility app/Windows mobile sends the local time instead of UTC to the server for the location_as_of field (related to GPS fix). This issue is causing problems, particularly when the GPS fix is sent with the wrong time, as it prevents users from receiving task allocations for the rest of the day.Example: A technician in Western Australia (UTC +8) sent a location_as_of value of 12:50:00, but the correct UTC time should have been 04:50:00. Due to this mismatch, PSO interprets the technician as unavailable for further task assignments.In some records in the above screenshot, you may notice that the value of location_as_of (the first column without a column name) has a significant time difference of over 8 hours compared to created_dttm and modified_dttm. Product Version: FSM 6 Update 26Business Impact:The incorrect timestamp blocks technicians from receiving additional tasks for the day, leading to operational inefficie

Revoke the authorization at count result per count report

Hi, Is there any way to revoke the approved count report performed at count result per count report screen.For example, user has approved certain counted part lines by mistakenly at count result per count report screen and now wants to revoke them back to original status at count result per count report screen itself.So, if there is any workaround or way for this, kindly suggest. Thanks.

Can we run MRP for just PM actions?

Hi,We have a requirement to run MRP for source PM actions only and generate PRs for PM action related demands only. How we can achieve this, so far I could not find an option to select the source on the MRP run screen?   Thanks,Kasun
