Hi,If selecting 100 records of Shop Order Requestion and trying to create shop orders. You may get an error message if something is wrong, listing every requestion and message like: No Buildable Structure, No Operation, No allocation etc...If Pressing OK the shop order creation prcosses is stopped and you have to walkthorugh every shoporder requestions to exclude any faulty requestions. In APP9 you could easally continue the shop order creation process, and later take care of the requestions not generated into shop orders .Should it be like this?Can you propose any other sutaible approach to create shop orders from shop order requestions?  

Hi,When attaching a zip file, the system sometimes creates two files: "ORIGINAL" and "VIEW" in the "FILE REFS" tab in the document revision:The parameterization looks like this:A duplicate entry is visible in the edm_file_tab table. Does anyone know why the system creates "ORIGINAL" in most, and sometimes ‘ORIGINAL’ and ‘VIEW’?Best regards

Hello,When I select a Work Task to see the details in the Dispatch Console, it shows all the request tasks for the REQUEST, and sometimes it’s a bit confusing.In this example, i want to see the details of the task 83: However, i get all the tasks for the original request:Is it the intended functionality? Hi all, is it possible, to translate a Navigator node entry?After adding a custom page as an Navigator entry it is saved in english (User language = en). After access with same user in german (User language = de) the Navigator entry is still in english and not in german.The view on the right side is translated correctly, the Navigator entry not.Is there any other way than using two basic profiles (de, en) to make the right setting/translation?Looking forward for a feedback.Br,Jan

 HiWe will like to exclude “Estimated Material Cost (From Inventory Part) in the calculation of cost set 3 - Latest Purchase Price.(IFS is fetching Estimated Material Cost,  if Latest Purchase Price is 0). The function in “Copy Estimated Material Cost from Inventory Part” does not seems to have any effect to this.Any help in this matter is highly appreciated.   Kind Regards Brian                       

Dear all,Is there any way for Transport Tasks with order type Kanban Card never to be mixed with other Transport Tasks (e.g. order type = Shop Order) ?For example, is there any way that when the Kanban Circuit is active and the Kanban Transport Task is created, couldn't teh Transpor Task be fixed?

The client expects that some of the listed skills are necessary to perform the job, but it is enough that at least one or two of the required people have those skills or a combination of them. Hi,When creating a new Work Task in Service Management, it’s selected the option “Create from Standard Task” by default. If I select “New Work Task” and again “Create from Standard Task” the list of standard tasks is duplicated.This is a test case:After select “New” in Request Work Task, I have 2 standard task in the list: I select “New Work Task”:   Select again “Create from Standard Task”: The list is increasing if i do it several times.Thanks in advance.Irene

Hi all, some of our users are reporting an issue where they can’t see the “Cancel Arrival/Receipt” button in the Procurement > Receipts > Receipt screen, even though:They have Full permissions to the ReceiptsHandling projection The receipts they’re trying to cancel, can be cancelled by other users (i.e. parts have been received, nothing’s been scrapped etc).The button isn’t visible-but-disabled; it’s not shown at all.Are there any likely reasons for this?

Dear experts,We are using manufacturing control plans with time interval as sample frequency trigger => each 30 minutes, 5 pieces must be inspected.The question mark concerns the way to alert in any way, in the shopfloor workbench, the employee every 30 minutes that a new quality analysis needs to be done. This is imply that the shop floor workbench is continually refreshed and I think this is not the case.Is someone got the same need ? any idea to meet the need ?Thanks in advance   

Community,have you encountered the issues that the PR line does have price on it , and it is released, and authorized, but PR line does not have supplier ID associated? is it a bug?We are on APP10 UPD9. We only notice this happened when the PR is initiated from a project. Thank you.

Hello, When returning parts to stock using the return tab in the work task (work order) there is no field to choose the revision number of the part being returned (in many cases the part returned is of a previous revision to the currently valid and could be components not related to a customer order) Is there a way to specify the revision of the part being put in stock when doing the return in work orders?(We are using cloud version) Thanks in advance for your responses.

 Hi AllAs tried in IFS 24.1.1; From the PO lines screen, I made the Requisitioner and the Requisition no mandatory via checking the ‘required’ checkbox and then published.      The goal was to prevent users from creating PO lines without a Purchase Requisition / Requisitioner.After publishing, I tried to save a PO line. It gets saved without the 2 mandatory fields that I set    Can you advise what I am doing wrong here?Thanks,Asela

Hi,I hope someone can provide guidance on the following: We are looking to streamline our PM actions and implement a form of  suppression to prevent work orders from being raised when the service year is not applicable. Specifically, we have equipment objects that require servicing at 1,3 and 5 -year intervals.  Our goal is to create a PM action that raises work orders according to these intervals, while ensuring following: The 1 year PM action needs to raise a work order in year 1, 2 and 4 only The 3 year PM action needs to raise a work order in year 3 only The 5 year PM action needs to raise a work order in year 5 onlyIs it possible to achieve this using standard IFS functionality, or would a CRIM be necessary? Thank you in advance for your assistance.    

 Hello IFS Community, I have created a list element naviagtion with two placeholders: SUPPLIER,  and SITE. I am trying to navigate to the 'Payment Schedule for Purchase Order' page, and my dataset references that view.I am having trouble creating the navigation. I am using the following path:page/PaymentScheduleForPurchaseOrder/Form?$filter=Contract eq toupper($SITE$) and VendorNo eq ($SUPPLIER$)When I search for SITE using, for example, OK%, it does not retrieve data because the filter applies =OK%, which includes the equal sign (=). The filter needs to be just OK%, without the equal sign. It will work only if the user inputs the entire site value. Any idea how to fix this issue1? Another issue I have is when the user uses % for the two placeholders: SUPPLIER and SITE.It does not return any values or data.  Any idea how I could fix this issue2? Thanks,

When using PO changes orders, in Apps 10, we are noticing that date changes require the use of a change order.We would like to use PO change orders to trigger authorizations - as such we only want to use PO changes orders when the quantity or price changes. Is there a way to setup the system to mandate this type of use case? mandatory use of PO change orders - means date changes have to be made via change orders optional use of PO changes orders - means quantity and price can be changed on the PO without a change order.  

In IFS 10 UDP 17I have to delete the generic lobby I don’t use in order to be able to create my own.If I don’t delete them, I can’t make modifications in the Element Designer or Data source because it takes too much time.This solved my performance issue, but for whatever reason, the generic lobby randomly reappears. And I must delete them again.Do you know how I can deactivate synchronization for some lobby?Because I assumed they are on the server-side caches

I feel like in previous versions of IFS we could set Sales lines on the Request Work Task to Not Invoiceable.  That option does not seem to be available.  Is there a work around for internal service request work tasks?   

Hi,With PSO (in a stand alone) installation, Customers / Prospects may need a component (mobile application) for the field.We send activites in the application, and the technician gives updates about the tour and each activities : on route, on site, started, etc.This can also be used in the debrief or work rder report.Do we have this component in PSO  in addition to the backend and the engine ?thanks and regardsanthony
