I have a question.
We have tried the reservation from the specific location on the shop order which is possible once the following choices are made:
However when I try to do this for configuration structure instead of the product one, the automatic reservation is not an option. To be fair, I am not using the floor stock.
Can you please advise?

Automatic reservation works for standard product structures because the BOM is fixed and predefined. However, for configuration structures, the BOM is generated dynamically based on configuration rules and selected characteristics. Since the structure is not finalized at the point of reservation, the system cannot safely determine the correct components or locations to reserve from.
Therefore, automatic reservation is not available for configuration structures by design, and reservations must be done manually after the configuration is completed.
