Hi Community, Do you have any idea why it is not possible to attach discount terms to payment terms on a sales contract?My customer contractually negotiates discount terms on sales contracts and would not want to manually assign discounts to each invoice linked to the contract.Here is the error message :  Any help will be much appreciated on that subject :)

I have a Shop Order where one of the materials is Inventory Part with type Remanufactured. Will MRP create requisition for such a part?Thanks in advance.

My Default value for my custom field (check box) has stopped populating for new records.My custom field:Persistent Boolean Value Enum (TRUE or FALSE boolean) I set the Default Value to FALSE For every new record that was created, my custom field had the check box default to FALSE, but it just recently it stopped working.Anybody having the same issue? We did not do any major updates or changes to to the environment or the custom field. 

Hi IFS,We have a scenario, we perform some work for the customer then for additional work its required to get the customer approval. For this we create an additional task with planning lines where its required to create a service Quotation.However when I create a Quotation from the work order header, this includes all task but not the one we just need customer acceptence. How to handle this in Cloud?We dont need to create a service quotation for the first task as it has performed as per customer contract agreements within the accepted limit.How I can include just the one Task in the service qutation? Thanks,KM

Our customer informed us IFS Application automatically generated an imbalanced year-end voucher when transferring retained earnings from period 13 to the period 0 through GP8 posting. Please refer below step by step test plan where this imbalance voucher automatically created by the IFS application.Step by step test plan.01. I have created a view in the database and I am trying to access it from the output parameter in business rule but getting this following error “Metadata not found for select. Contact your system administrator for assistance.” I have already created the view in custom metadata. Am I missing any step here? How can I fix this?

Hello, I am using IFS Apps 10 and we have enabled Control Plan Mandatory and Create Analysis Mandatory in the QA controls. This has been working as expected, however, we have to disable the controls when a Rework Shop Order is opened. As an example we need to Rework PN 123456. So a SO is opened for it and the Rework flag is checked. The Operations are modified to suit the rework (deburr, sanding, etc.). All original operations are removed and the rework operation(s) are added. All original materials are removed and the top level part number is added (for rework) to the material. The connected control plan still has all the checks for the original steps, which I mark as not included. However, when you attempt to receive the Shop Order, the system errors out stating that is expecting you to complete checks for operations that you have removed and checks you have not included. I have found no way around this other than to disable the QA controls, report the rework Shop Order and turn them

Hello,I'm looking for advice on how to exclude a specific list of suppliers from a payment proposal.The requirement is to exclude a list of 26 suppliers from all payment proposals, while allowing the rest to be paid. Is there a way to set up parameters or automated tasks that can accomplish exactly this—either during the creation of payment proposals or through another method?I’d prefer not to create separate supplier groups if possible, as some suppliers are already part of existing groups. This is more about excluding certain suppliers, rather than selecting which ones to include.Additionally, I’d like to avoid putting a central payment block on the supplier accounts, as we need to keep the option open to pay them in the future if necessary.I've tried separating the suppliers with commas, semicolons, dots, and dashes, but none of these approaches have worked. Following the upgrade from PSO 6.10.0.17 to 6.14.0.65 and FSM 6 Update 25 to Update 31, we are experiencing unexpected behavior where fixed tasks are shifting overnight to different time slots.These tasks have fixed start and end times and should remain static once scheduled. No changes have been made to the underlying task data, configuration or scheduling constraints. Despite this, the planning board shows tasks in new positions each morning.We are investigating potential causes and are curious if any changes introduced in PSO 6.14.0.65 or FSM 6.31 may affect how fixed tasks are handled or persisted. The doc class is getting fetched only in the header level when using the drag and drop option to attach files. But when the user manually attaching files by browsing, the doc class gets automatically fetched in both header level and line level.When drag and drop option is used. When manual browsing option is used.Need to know the reason for this difference between two options.

We are trying to build a Fault Tree based on the FMEA built by our company. The configuration today is:ELECTRIC MOTOR (Item class)  CONVERT ELECTRIC ENERGY TO MECHANICAL ENERGY (Function)     BEARING FAILURE (Fault Type)           OHE - OVERHEATING (Symptom)           OIL CONTAMINATION (Cause) This is the standard IFS functionality, is someone using in a different way? Where you can put the effect of the Failure, or using the  “Failling component” inside the Cause?If someone can share how is the tree inside the FASN.

We are trying to rebuild a current integration that was done by a prior partner. The current integration creates a customer order, and preposts it with code parts D, E, F. Code part D is the Project, which downstream ensures that the Project is present on the AR Trade posting of customer invoices. In our new integration, we can successfully prepost code parts E and F, but when trying to prepost D, we get an error that an external project must have an activity sequence, which is a field we cannot enter into header preposting. How can I get the project preposting on the customer order header? Current Integration:New Integration attempt: 

Dear ExpertsI never had this customer offset proposal working correctly for me. Most of the time the Proposal doesnt find any invoices despite there are available invoices. for example make the following selection for this customer. when i check the customer analysis I see at least 2 invoices and one cupoa which could be matched. what is exactly the logic of this customer offset proposal? what is the limitation`? i honestly cannot figure it out. best regardsSophal

Hi Folks We have three Strength Factors set up in IFS10 (0, 1 & 2) but nobody can tell me what they are used for, could anyone shed some light on this filed or point me in the direction of some documentation to help explain its use? It does change the Duty/Excise payable amount but I can’t work out the calculation.Any help would be appreciated

Hi,When creating M voucher from external file and then creating Interim voucher (R) we get following error.“Field [TAX_CODE] is mandatory for Source Tax Item Accrul and requires a value.”When we create M voucher manually with exactly same contents (not from external file) it works without error.  Could it be a bug? We have IFS Cloud R231.

Hi All, In IFSAPPS10 and previous versions we have the “Display All Structure Types” functionality that allows us to see or not the different types of structures in Multi Level Structure tab, in Product Structure window.I didn't find the same functionality in IFS Cloud, does it exist? Thanks in Advance!

Usually, the end users (our customers) are using IFS on multiple tabs and windows, to work as efficiently as possible throughout the day.In our previous version, 22R2 SU16, the system stays on the same page if the user has to log in after being inactive and the end user can pick up where they left off.But in our current version, 24R1 SU05, the page resets to the default page, not only in the window where the end user had to log in again, but in all the other open windows as well.Please guide us in understanding this logic in 24R1 that seems to reduce the end users experience and is quite counter productive for an ERP system

Hi Everyone,For example, a purchase request line was created and approved from 100 X products. It is desired to create a purchase order for 70 of these from supplier A and 30 from supplier B. Is there a standard solution for this?As far as I know, the request line should also be created as two lines, 70 pieces and 30 pieces. After the request is approved, can we divide it into two lines quantitatively? there must be a solution other than a supplier split
