I get this error: However, a co-worker of mine can get it deployed to the same system, as it is only a warning for him in the editor:How could I get it deployed?It is Cloud 23R2 SU3.Both of us have this version:IFS Developer Studio 23.2.9781 (Build 2024-02-26 05:33)I even deleted the ‘cache’ dir on the disk. By the way, generally, is this supposed to be an error or a warning?

Hi All, Does anyone has any ideas why on the Print Invoice command there’s no possibility to write a condition on when that command should be visible?In the below screenshot you see that for Print Invoice command, the enabled field is a checkbox only whereas for the Reprint Original Duplicate command, the Enabled field also supports conditions.Current environment is 23R2.2. And I’m pretty sure this has changed from previous releases. In 22R2 I could write a condition in the Print Invoice command to only show for Invoices in status Preliminary.

Hello, I have created a handful of custom fields (type read-only) that I have included in operational reports. For example, I have balance due and customer PO fields on the collective invoice form.  There is an issue where, if someone has a customer order that gets invoiced into a collective invoice, but changes their PO, when the collective invoice is first printed off originally, the PO comes up as the updated PO but the balance due is zero, even though the balance due is pulling the open amount. (SELECT OPEN_AMOUNT FROM LEDGER_ITEM_CU_DET_QRY WHERE LEDGER_ITEM_ID= :INVOICE_NO) When we reprint modified the collective invoice form, the PO gets changed to the old PO value and the balance due field becomes the correct, up to date, value. Has anyone encountered this before? Does anyone know what the correct approach is? This seems like some history tracking issue that collective invoices and customer statements of accounts encounter (same error on statements). Hi,I work at Boomi's Japanese subsidiary, assisting Japanese business partners. Currently our Japanese business partner is using Boomi's IFS partner connector to validate their connection to IFS Cloud 23R2.When using Boomi Atom Cloud, it works well, but when using their on-premise Atom, they are getting the following error in the Import Operation process.I just asked them to verify that their network firewall white list’s settings cover the following and waiting for their answer.Host names and IP addresses for the Boomi platform | Boomi Documentationbut I would appreciate your advice on what additional investigation I should do to clarify the root cause.Thank you in advance.

I am a first time user and first time permission set creator for my company.  Since I have never done this before, what is the most efficient and effective way to create new permission sets?  I was thinking for Purchasing, to have a permission set for the Operational Buyer to do the basics like issuing POs, processing requisitions and quotes, and then tracking arrivals etc and then create a set for Requisition Authorizer, and another set for PO Authorizer, etc.  Is it easier to navigate and control when you have bite-sized permission sets that you can control and assign to users rather than a whole role a user might have at once?

Does anyone have an automated solution for the twice-yearly time adjustments for daylight savings?It is not very convenient to have to manually adjust it at 2:00 am on a Sunday morning.

Hi, When a new activity is created and date 1/1/2030 is selected, system reports an error that date is missing in project calendar. Dates in the calendar are created up to 31/12/2030. In the Aurena client, date shows as 1/1/30 and when calendar icon is selected again, date 1/1/1930 seems selected.Where can break year be set in IFS? Everything up to 50 should be seen as this century (2049). Every vaule above 50 shoud be seen as last century (1951).I selected 2030, but when I come back and select the calendar icon it shows as 1930 kind regards,Teeni. 

Can you please let me know if there's any option to open a PDF from a List Lobby? My idea is to read a field from a database, which is a PDF path, then open it.  I would say we can use either adobe PDF or Edge to open it.

Hi, all, I recently recreated a new database server from production backup, a brand new middleware server to build a separate environment.  Everything seemed good so far, until I found some messages had not gotten processed through.  Looking deeper, then I found the Database Processes were all stuck on the last time I installed the MOD (after MW base)… I tried a couple of things:Reactive the processes, failed;  Reactive batch queue, failed (not totally, but you can see the next Plan did get updated, but no action at all after); Stop and start the queues, failed; Restarted the MW server, failed; Restarted the PDB with job_queue_processes=160, failed (following by restarting MWserver)Now I’m run out of idea, any one could help me ? best,David Cheng

Hi, I encountered an issue when creating Custom Menu (PL/SQL Block); namely the execution time of the block is very long - but the result is correct. I noticed that when executing my sql code from sql developer the execution time is ok, but when calling it from IFS execution time is always very long. I tried things like eg. assigning constant/explicit values to variables, getting required data from tables or through the api. And it looks like the ifs is always working much longer on it. In my menu I use also form data as parameters but i don’t think it makes a difference here. One thing that differs from different custom menus is thet i use very long string vqariables concatenated in fotm of “smple_text”||variable a||record separator||”Text2”||unit separators and etc… Thank you in advance for all the tips.Best Regards

We need to have ifs app9 upd17 application talk to KAFKA broker. For that we developed custom connect reader following the documentation ‘How to develop and deploy a Transport Connector Reader’.  everything was carried out according to the documentation but after the connect server is restarted our custom connect reader is not getting started. Cant see anything on the log files, not even error message.  Has anybody experience this issue? Did you follow anything other than what is given in the documentation? 

We have been running IFS for 20+ years and are currently upgrading from IFSAPPS9 to a Cloud-hosted, 23R2 environment. We have developed many external MS Access dB’s and Excel spread sheets linked directly to the IFSAPPS9 dB via the “New Data Source/Form other Sources/ODBC Database”.  What is the “Cloud” means of connecting the Cloud dB to our Key Business Metrics Spreadsheets and MS Access applications?Excel ODBC Connect to External DataExternal Data Source connection to IFS Cloud…??? 

Hi! So let me explain my problem. I want to be able to register a gender on person. Normally I would do this by configuring a Entity field on the PersonInfo view. However, in IFS Cloud this view is blocked for custom entities so I've thought the following work around:I've made a complete new Custom Entity called CPersonGender with 2 fields Person_ID - Persistent -  String(100) Gender - Persistent - Enumeration I created a custom projection on Personhandling and linked this Entity to the Person Added the Entity on the page as a group Once I configure the binding however, the drop down list for Gender is unusable since no record is linked to the person_ID yet. How can I make the group Create a record if no record is present yet?

Where does the session time come from? Is it DB server time? Or VM where kubernetes is installed? We’re trying to figure out how to get it to show correct time according to the time zone we are in. It seems to not be coming from DB server.

Im trying to create a navigation link to customer address info page but the data being shown is not updated, keeps showing the same customer address no mather what parameters i pass.It only happens on customer/addressinfo, i already tested navigating to customer/form and the data does change.Anyone knows why this could be? Maybe im missing some extra configuration  

In a remote deployment for an IFS CLoud 21R2 installation, what are your best practices to monitor a production environment?In the application itself we can use the application monitoring console.The oracle database can be monitored by oracle tools.What about the middletier? Is there any notification tool that would notify you if anything is not working correctly? A pod that stops working etc.
