We have noted the same ORA error in Scanit app when selecting a menu item.
Appreciate on any information if you have already got solved the issue.

That would suggest a problem with one of the services Main server group on the application server. Either it is restarting, down, or busy.

We noted the same situation; the WMS was stuck due to a Time Out issue. So, we restarted the WMS.

Well as suggested above one or more of the services that run under the Main application instance is down or having trouble connecting to the database. Have you tried restarting the services?
If so then you need to dig into the log file for the Main server. The log files can be found in <IFSHOME>\wls_domain\IFSPROD\servers\MainServer1\logs
