I have just added three new functions (PL/SQL)(Layer Cust). This contains error messages that should be displayed to the user in the appropriate language. Error_SYS.Record_General(lu_name_, 'NOALLOWRE: It is not allowed to remove this record');Basically, I know the translation function well from the reports, but how does it work here?Questions:- Where and how can I scan the code to make these error messages translatable? I didn't find this function anywhere.- Where can I translate them afterwards? I didn't find the entries in "Text Translation".

Can install Print Agent on Local Laptop and print IFS label via a bluetooth printer?

Community,I have a question need your expertise here.Can I just install IFS Print Agent onto my local laptop? I will have a Zebra mobile printer connected with my laptop via bluetooth. I am trying to using my laptop access IFS via IEE and print the label via the Zebra mobile printer, is that possible? Thank you.

Cloud User Guide - Latest?

Hello,I’m trying to see if there is a User Guide for IFS 23R1 or any of the modern versions for that matter. I’ve found the Cloud - Aurena User Guide but it is dated December 2020 – Early Access and its screenshot are old. I also have the PPT named How Presentation_UX23R1 (I’ll be darned if I know what the use of the word How is supposed to mean), which talks about 23R1 Enhancements.Do we have a single document (PPT) with everything included that is dated currently? I also understand that the use of the Aurena designation is passé. Should the current documentation mention Aurena at all?Thank you.Patrick

Order of data in Excel Layout

I have been able to create a very nice Excel layout for “Received - Not Yet Invoiced” in the Order Report form. I have used the Filter, the Options, the Columns etc. It works fine but the Finance department wants the data sorted. Is there any way to add something equivalent to “ORDER BY” in SQL or a multi-level sort in Excel? I have tried the multi-level sort from Excel in my layout but it does not work in the report once the data is populated. Any suggestions are welcome.

Workflow version is already deployed error when importing ACP with workflows.

I'm currently encountering an issue while attempting to import an ACP (Application Component Package) that includes workflows from our development environment into the test or production environment. Despite trying to import the same ACP with the workflows set as inactive, I consistently encounter the same error, as shown in the attached screenshot.Would anyone be able to offer insights or guidance on resolving this issue?

Cannot create child node from master node due to XML:1364 failed to install Middleware Server

Hello, We are trying to create clustering for our environment.As of now, We have created master node & its up & running without any issue.From there, we created cluster.zip (by running cluster.cmd file) & moved to slave node.From slave node, We try to create the cluster with the help of cluster.zip file.Now, We are unable to create middleware server in slave node & its getting the below error.It will be great to get help from you. Post Upd16: Print Manager Error: No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service

We are on Appsv9, and have just applied update 16. We have noticed that on occasions, Print Manager is erroring with ‘No PDF report returned from Crystal Web Service’. Obviously this is only on documents that are generated via Crystal Web Service. We have 3 x Crystal Web Services running and as far as I can remember, we have not seen this issue in Apps v9 before. The error in the Crystal Web Service log is: 18/03/2020 15:23:06[IFSCRWebSetupIFS9Lb]-[GetSavedPDFReport] The web instance is busy. The request will be forwarded to the next available instance. Has anyone else had this? has anyone seen this behaviour after an update? (we were on update 12). My guess would be to create a couple more Web services, but i suspect something somewhere has changed, for this to become a problem now. I believe we are only seeing this when the system is busy. Application Messages - Access Denied due to system privilege configuration

Afternoon, I’ve noticed recently within our application messages we’re getting ‘spammed’ every 10 seconds with a failure for the same error. It seems to state the following for IFSAPP. When I read the XML message embedded it states the issue could be with NotifyMe app which we don’t use currently;<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><MANAGEMOBILEAPPLICATION_LOADCLIENTMETADATA><APP_NAME>NotifyMe</APP_NAME><CLEAN_LOAD>FALSE</CLEAN_LOAD></MANAGEMOBILEAPPLICATION_LOADCLIENTMETADATA>I tried to edit ‘Installed Apps/Devices’ for NotifyMe however, I get the exact same error within there also. Any ideas on how to resolve, we’re on Apps 10 Upd12.Thanks

Apps10 - QR Code for Inventory Barcodes

I’m wondering if anyone has managed to generate QR codes to be scanned via a zebra handheld? My preference would be to use Crystal Reports (Report def: Inventory_Part_Barcode_Rep) which when printed would create the QR code with some additional basic data (Part no etc). I’ve looked through the community and haven’t seen anyone create any guides or best practices on how to implement QR codes within Crystal. The potential method I can see is using IDAutomation however, I didn’t know if there’s any alternative or a guide to follow? We currently have access to IFS Report Designer and Crystal Reports 2016 which we can use to create 2d barcodes however, realistically I’d like to generate a QR code using GS-1 Barcode Parameters. E.g. similar to below however, instead using a QR code.Thanks all

Update url in ExternalNavigationLink

HiAnyone knows how can i update the url in an ExternalNavigationLink in Aurena Apps10.I can se and edit the name, but not the URL We run in to problem when updating TEST env with PROD data.In this case it then copy REST links from PROD to TEST and we then run PROD rest calls from test.Also what tabel is this stored n so that we can query/update directly in DB?Tank you

Process to "decommission" Yellow Sticky Notes - prep for Cloud

We are Apps10 customers and my users are very heavy users of the Yellow Sticky Note. Need to remember to follow up with a customer on a urgent order - put in the Yellow Sticky Note. They create new notes every day.As far as I know - that data essentially “vanishes” when we go live with IFS Cloud. The information is no longer available and there is no way for the users to access the data stored there. Since my users currently use the Sticky Note to track critical information, I need a plan to basically force my users to stop using the Yellow Sticky Notes as part of my Cloud upgrade plan.Is there a way we could change access to Yellow Sticky Notes to be read only? This way, while we are still in Apps10, users can continue to reference information already in the Yellow Notes, but stop users from creating any NEW data in the Sticky Notes?My thought process is - I can’t stop them from losing historic sticky note data, but I can at least stop them from creating new information well befo

Hi,We are preparing new permission sets for a global setup with different companies and sites in same database and we have just realized that we need some users or group of users to have ‘full’ control in some projections at one company but only ‘read’ in the same modules at another company.How can we manage this kind of control/permission setup? Custom Page url to navigate Customer Order window

Hi All, I have added a field to ‘Project Definition’ window which can be used to navigate connected Customer Orders. I am using Details property to navigate relevant page like below. @Overridegroup ProjectDetailHeaderGroup for Project { @DynamicComponentDependency ORDER static CsCustomerOrder { searchable = true; details = "page/CustomerOrder/Form?$filter=startswith(OrderNo,$[CsCustomerOrder])"; }} for CsCustomerOrder I’m using custom logic to select relevant Order Nos and passing values like this ‘C1203;C1204;C1205’Now client is like below (yellow highlighted field) but when I click on the navigate field it will navigate to the Customer Order window, but I have to hit ‘Search’ button to see the data. I would like to know is there are any way/possibility to see the filtered data when navigating without clicking ‘Search’ button? Note: this worked for one value in the filtered parameter list, but for more values it’s not working. Thanks,Asanka.

Change Order Type on ORDERS by Sender

Hi, On Apps 10 - Does anyone know if it is possible to change the Order Type for an Incoming Customer Order using the ORDERS message - and if so do you have something I could ‘borrow.’I’ve been going around in circles for days now. I feel there should be something there. I have also been attempting to write an event to stop the order - which is fine - but then it still blocks on manual approval.

How to fine tune projection grants in Aurena?

Hi,I do not understand why, in the example below, I cannot fine tune the access to the projection Multipleprepostingwithsourcehandling…it’s about preposting linked to the Purchase Order. Technically, when the person clicks on Preposting from the PO line, I just want him to see the Preposting in read only. It seems simple, however if I only grant readonly to the related projection below, the user gets a warning message saying it does not have the right to access the projection, so, at the end, he cannot read anything… Which is strange, what’s the point of the read only access? With try and error, I succeed to grant access to the preposting without the possibility to modify it, but it is not reliable at all, as I do not understand what I granted, I maybe opened the door to something else. I also went on this view and checked the “Manage Grants By Command” that is apparently made for that, but for this specific projection, it’s empty ...And why the pages listed here does not match the pag

BPA ETag error: what is the matter?

I have started of with a rather simple workflow and kept expanding it. Until I hit an error that I just can't put my finger on. When using the flow in the place where it should be triggered, I now get an error: “ETag is incorrect”.I've noticed that ETag is shown at the elements, at least most of them, in the bottom. The help text on ETag goes along the line that one can override it so the flow continues. I've left the override ETag to the default of unchecked. I got the mentioned error message. For a couple of elements that I've been adding lately, I have also tried to use the Override ETag option and turned it on. After deployment I still get the error that the ETag is incorrect.Next was to turn on the network debug of Bing (yes, I did the same in Chrome) and it gives me the following error:Still no clue in this one for me.
