Hi,One of my customer, with his partner, uses Visual Studio 2013 for their developments in their Azure cloud environments.They will have to upgrade to TLS1.2 because the previous versions will soon no longer be supported, but they have read that there are compatibility problems between TLS1.2 and VS2013.Does it mean they won’t be able to develop anymore once this change is done ?Is there a way to make VS2013 compatible ?Thank youFabrice 

Hello experts, I want to set the visibility of a command group according to the state of the record shown. I have tried this expression.   It works fine. So the button is visible only for the records which doesn’t have the “Closed” state. However, when I try to add more than one states to this, the condition doesn’t work at all. So it is showing even for records with  “Closed” state.   Any advices/ tips are welcome.  PS: I referred Condition Syntax - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud documentation.  Cloud version is 23R2 Thank You in advance, 

Hello, I would ask you a question, it is possible to add Custom Field, or Custom Object to the entity “InventoryPartsAvailabilityPlanning”? Because this entity doesnt exist yet and when I will create, in label for inputing entity name is letter limit 30 and this entity has more than 30 letters, it is possible to add in this entity some columns?  Thank you

I wonder about the syntax of the navigation parameter $action that is briefly described here: Lobby Navigation Guideline - Technical Documentation For IFS CloudIn the example in the guideline it says $action =ExportCompanySetup{InputTemplateId:$[TemplateId]} but I can’t figure out what ExportCompanySetup stands for. When I navigate to an assistant (Business Report) I do not manage to initiate it as i like, propably because I don’t write the parameter as I should.Is there any place where I can read a full description about how to use $action?

Hi Community A customer is encountering an error when using the “Customer Statement Of Account” window in cloud 23R1.  After selecting the options for the report run a print dialog pops up showing a list of result keys as shown:  We select “All” and click “OK”. The debugger shows that it often (not always) misses one of the highlighted rows and instead sends one of the other id’s twice. I have included an example from latest run below. Is this a known issue with the client not multi selecting the records correctly? Hello, quick question about report designer ;I have a cell where I want to add a conditionThe condition itself is pretty simple, if the customer order is CREDIT, add a ‘- - ‘ (negative) symbol at the start of the field.I have already found a part of the solution, but what is the correct syntax to add the ‘-’ atr the start of my field cell ?Current stat of condition is ;/tns:CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP_REQUEST/tns:CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP/tns:INVOICE_TYPE='CUSTORDCRE' Which is only making the cell visible if it is a CUSTORDCRE for now.Best regards

 Is it possible to filter the contents of a drop down, using context variables, such as the below:The below does not work, but what I’m trying to do is filter where the valid dates is either in the future OR it doesn’t have a date set.  

After creating a custom attribute for an entity, it is required to enable History Log for that. For that following steps were followed. Test Plan:Create a “Custom Attribute” in the "PurchaseOrder" entity and publish it. Open the "History Log Configuration" page and search for Lu Name "=PurchaseOrder". Observe that only one entry is shown with Table Name "PURCHASE_ORDER_TAB". Expectation:Expects another entry - "PURCHASE_ORDER_CFT", so can enable logging on custom attribute. This used to work in IFSAPP10. See following attachment.  But in IFS Cloud, it doesn’t seem like above. See following attachment.   

Hello, After having read about what’s new in Financials 23R1, I came across some very interesting pre-build Power BI reports for Income statement and Balance Sheet. We have Analysis Models deployed in our environment. I’ve looked into the git repo for 23R1 (biserv and pbies components) and I can’t find any .pbix files.Any hint on where the .pbix files could be found would be greatly appreciated.@Bob Corrigan maybe?   

Hello Everyone,I have created a new Table Window which is based on a Custom Entity I created. One of the columns is the Customer ID. In the Entity I have defined the Association to CustomerInfo, and therefore when I drag and drop the CustomerID to the Table Window from the Dataset Toolbox, the Column has the LOV Reference as Customer_Info, and the LOV and Zoom works well. I have created a new view (Customer ID, Customer Name, Customer Stat Group and Stat Group Name) based on a join of Customer_Info_Tab and CUST_ORD_CUSTOMER_ENT. When I set this view as the LOV reference to the column, (and after granting permission and refreshing caches) I can see that the LOV is working, but the Zoom is disabled. My requirement is to have the Custom View as the LOV, but Zoom to direct the user to the Customer window. Any ideas on how to achieve this? or any workaround? Best Regards,Devin

How can I repair this query?

Is there a way to select multiple search criteria from a list in Cloud?In IEE, for example, when I'm searching for NCR's by Source ID, I can click the 3 dots and open the list and multi-select the source ID's I want to include by holding Ctrl, like this...Then it auto-populates the field like this. Aurena will only let me select 1 item from the source ID list on the non conformance report page and doesn’t let me select multiple items via clicking.  I can manually type the ; and manually type in another term, but I don't always know what it's called or which ones I want and it changes based on what I'm looking for.  It's easier to select the ones I want to use.

Hello, We are working on an integration with one of our business partners using the BPA workflows offered by IFS Cloud (We are on 23R1). All the logic is in place and is working as intended, but the BPA fails for “large” datasets. We are using the REST Call Task to send a web request to our partner’s API. The request body/payload cannot be stored as a string because when there are many items, the requestBody would quickly exceed the 2000 character limit to be stored in the Oracle database as a string. If it were to be stored as a string, we would receive a persistence layer exception at the end of the workflow.Instead, we are storing it in a process variable called ‘requestBody’ as an object.The request body field of the REST Call Task requires a string, so we must convert the JSON object to a string using Camunda Spin: JSON(requestBody).toString() in the task.This works perfectly for “small“ payloads. Hi Everyone, IFS Cloud 23R2We are working towards getting load balancing between 3 middletier servers working for our IFS cloud installation. This works ok for the most part, however we are noticing that timeouts are occurring right around one minute. In the application when this occurs there is no error message; whatever you were doing just stops so it is unclear sometimes that any timeout occurred. Examples:Do a search on a screen that takes longer than a minute to return: Just see “No Results” even though results should have been returned Order a report that takes longer than a minute.  After clicking finish to order the report, the loading icon spins for one minute, and then the buttons became available again as if nothing was pressed and nothing happened. (The ordered report still shows up in the report archive once it is complete however) Reviewing the logs on one of the middle tier servers here are some standouts that seem to indicate the issue:  2024-07-25T15:31:29.033251728Z

I have two questions regarding fonts in reports:Is there any reason for not having font “Arial Unicode MS” available by default in Report Designer or the new tool in Report Studio? Licenses maybe? In Report Studio there seems to be more fonts available than the runtime fonts available. How is that supposed to work in practice including font substitutions?

Hi,I created an “email report” rule to rename the pdf associated with the email send in Purchase Order screen.But 2 emails are send ! The standard email and email from the new report rule created. In the documentation, for report rule action : “email report” it is said :“This will not override existing routing e-mail destinations unless you specifically skip the standard job email.”Do you know how “skip the standard job email” ? Thks 

I’m trying to invoke a rest endpoint and I want to pass 2 HTTP: headers with dynamic values. So I tried generating the values for the headers in PLSQL and pass on to http_req_headers_ parameter in Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.Call_Rest_EndPoint_Json_Sync. However I can’t get that working for more than one dynamic HTTP header. Of course I can define multiple headers in the routing address but I have two with dynamic values. What is the separator I should use here? This is how I have added one dynamic HTTP header to the request, but the header ‘Idempotency-Key’ defined as static in the address should ne handled dynamically in PLSQL but I can’t find a way of concatenating ‘Authorization’ header and ‘Idempotency-Key’ header.  I tried separating them with , ; but that does not seem to work.
