Today with Apps 9, we have multiple DEV environments hosted on a single application server and on a single database server. We keep them separated with different database service names and different port numbers. (Production has its own set of servers, as does our final UAT environment.) When we move to a Remote deployment of IFS Cloud, is this still going to be feasible? Will we be able to host multiple nonproduction instances on a single server? ...and would we still want to?

Hi,I’m getting following error when I try to schedule a big quick report (it takes 20 minutes) :STUCK thread while executing native sender: 'null' Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: STUCK thread while executing native sender: 'null'  We did the change ifs.bizapiTimeout.ExcelQuickReport.RenderExcelDocument=3600 in ifs.properties file and restarted application server (+ reconfigure) like suggested in others posts. But, we are still having the issue.Can anyone help?Best regards

Logged in as AppOwner.This screen has five custom fields, but they are not showing via RMB > Custom Objects > Fields. It just shows “Overview”. The fields were displaying and working correctly, but suddenly stopped. Ordinarily, it’d look something like this (different screen, obviously). All the custom objects would be individually listed.   Any ideas? Nothing has changed, no updates to the system, nothing like that. All the fields are approved and published and WERE working normally!  Have tried all the basics of reloading the config and clearing all the various caches. Thanks! -Karen

As I get a similar question multiple times, I thought to write a separate topic on how to use an Excel Migration Job for multiple views. As example I take the creation of a new part in Excel and adding a manufacturer. I know it is a simple example but it is the base for exploration of more functionality. Create a mig job with the following setting: Used views on parts entryOpen the tab Rules Create connection between two viewsThis rule value would be the same as if you prepare an SQL statement that will connect the two views. So if you have a view that has multiple fields to form the external key, all field combinations must be included using a regular ‘and’ construction. There are quite some fields on a master part general tab. I've removed the majority in the spreadsheet by removing the source column in tab Source Mapping: Leave in the fields with a default value. Clearing the Source Column for these fields (as in positions 40 and 60) will result in not showing these columns in Excel

Hello Team, I would like to know if someone already did the configuration for a status change ?For example I want to trigger the history log when a Shop Order is released and same for Purchase Requistion.I cannot find the value ObjState in the right table in History Log configuration. Thanks for your help.   

We have a large number of users who have left the company and their IFS IDs are inactive. At the Oracle database level they are also inactive and our DBA would like to remove them.  Does anyone have experience with removing users from the Oracle data base but leaving them in IFS as inactive.  They do not own any schemas, events, triggers, batch jobs, etc.

Hello.We have a weird IFS behaviour : on this screen ifsapf:tbwReceiptInfoWe already added a couple of custom fields, they are already available and displayed on ifsapf:frmReceiptInfoAbout ifsapf:tbwReceiptInfo , by realizint a right click → column chooser, even if we add every CF on the right side, and then, by clicking on the OK button, these CF are not displayed.If we return to column chooser, they still appear in the left side.What can we do to display these CF? all of them are persistants and they are not shared with no other view.

This is for IFS 10 - IEE.  We have some users who are receiving - “Error on Page  The page you loaded could not be activated due to errors.  Please contact your support representative.  Could not load file or assembly “Ifs.Fnd.Windows.Forms.ConditionalFields, Version=4.52.10.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=...” The user is using Chrome for browser. Has internet connection but may be a poor connection.  Chrome Add-in is installed.  User’s IFS permissions are fine.  Receives the same error no matter the screen that is selected. Any idea what might be causing this issue? Stacie 

Hello,in IFS10APPSI have created custom event to release every purchase order just after saving.  Than, when I save new purchase order, nothing happens. The purchase order 433184 is still in “Planned” state. No errors of the event, nothing.  What is wrong with it? Where should I look for error? Thanks in advance Jan

Is it possible at all to have a MarkdownText content field that is populated with a H1 callout `#` and then pulls the data from a specified field (eg; CustomerInfoSelector/CustomerInfoAddresses or something similar). Would love to be able to pull another freeform short-text field as the value, but am not sure how to get this working (or if it’s even possible!)  Thanks all!

Hello, Could you please give me advice? I have problem with Additional views, I created new CF in Entity PurchaseOrderLine, but when I run it it says that “The column vendor_part_no refered to in table t is not an approved persistent Custom Attribute”, but in additional views I edit switch toggle button in all entities which has OBJKEY available. This column is located in PURCHASE_ORDER_LINE_ALL which is switched on in toggle switch. Thanks for your advices

Hello, Starting a discussion on this topic as we seem to have uncovered a bug not previously noted on IFS community which is impacting SQL Quick Reports.  We have raised this as a case with IFS who are currently investigating.  In the meantime I am keen to hear from other customers on IFS Apps 10 Update 23 using EE who may or may not be experiencing this issue. Specifically, when running “SQL Statement” type Quick Reports the Parameter’s Screen is blank.  Previously this would provide inputs for the various parameters held within our SQL statement, such as Order No.  The SQL code from the reports has not changed, and this happens on all existing and any new reports created.  Crystal Report type Quick Reports are working, prompting for parameters correctly as expected.  I can confirm that the SQL code is correct as when running it in SQL query tool, the parameters are prompted for as expected.   Is anyone else experiencing this problem, and if so, do you have a workaround? I am equally

I am using IFS Apps10 and have a problem with Purchase Orders being emailed to the Requisitioner without them requesting it. It appears in the  requisitioner’s inbox with the subject “PDF file for Purchase Order report for result key <result key> is ready”When I check the Report Archive it says it was ordered by the Requisitioner but he has not ordered it. There is no custom event or scheduled task triggering it. I think it is occurring when the PO is closed but I am not sure. I don’t think it is occurring for everybody, just this one person and has only started occurring recently. The only way I am aware of that you can receive this mail is if someone sends it manually from the Purchase Order screen by selecting RMB-“Print Order” and then ticking the “Send Email to” box and entering an email address in the text box below that.I can’t see how it can be happening in an automated way., I have checked everywhere. I need to stop it however.

Aurena client2.Any database browser like Oracle SQL developer or PLSQL DeveloperI would to know their IP Address, location of the user if possible and other information like time, session duration etc.Customer is in IFS Managed Cloud so have limited options like lobbies, quick reports etc.How can we do that?

Hi all,We have built a custom API that changes a field (IFS Cloud).I built the Custom event so that whenever this field is changed with “value,” the workflow is triggered. This works fine if I run the custom API from Postman or the value is changed using IFS Cloud. But for some reason, when it is sent via IFS Connect (Using Projection as Routing Rule), the workflow is not triggered.Do you have any idea why this is a different behavior? Thanks,

We have some problem to importing IFS Swagger files (OpenAPI V2), generated from API Explorer, into API Manager tool Sentinet (by Nevatech) that we are using.We get a lot of errors saying “uniqueItems is not a valid property at <and then the information about where the error occurs>…” We also get multiple errors with the error saying “The UriTemplate <see below example> is not valid; the UriTemplate variable named ‘Class’ appears multiple times in the template ….” for paths that look like"/SomeDataSet(Class='{Class}',Part='{Part}')/SomeSubSet(Class='{Class}',Part='{Part}',Item='{Item}')".Has anyone experienced this issue?Are the generated Swagger files from IFS fully compatible with OpenAPI v2 standard?

Our customer is using Apps 10 UPD 11 and is sending JSON messages to external REST endpoints. The JSON is generated as a PL/SQL document and sent via Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.Call_Rest_EndPoint. The message undergoes a transformation using an XML to JSON transformer.We have observed an issue where leading zeros in the JSON message are being omitted during transmission.For example:XML message:<Barcode type="Text">0123456789</Barcode>Receiving Json:"Barcode": "123456789"During debugging and sample unit testing, we confirmed that the transformer functions as expected. However, by the time the message reaches the endpoint, the starting zeros are no longer present. I have found similar case in,An issue with the IFS XML to JSON transformer. | IFS Community

I am getting a “Comparison method violates its general contract” error when running the installer for IFS Developer Studio 18 that prevents it from working:  I obtained the installer from this website: https://developer.ifs.com/tools/devstudioI’ve spent hours trying to get the installer to work, but I have not been successful.
