We are moving from App9 to IFS Cloud and have some concerns with controlling the access:How can we monitor the user log in sessions and the device used? How can we monitor the user location when logging in? Is it possible to see the CPU use per user, e.g. someone downloading or uploading large amounts of data? How can we ensure the same user ID is only logged on via 1 device/IP, restricting the use of the same user ID on multiple devices at the same time (or from different IP’s at the same time)?Regards Hans

Hi Evryone, Does anyone knows what could be the impact of removing an Entity (MrpPartAction) from the list of Excluded Entities ? My purpose is to be able to create a read only custom field in MRP Action Proposals window. In a Test Environment, I’ve made the trial, I removed the record MrpPartAction from the list in Excluded Entities, then I was able to create my read only custom field, but before deploying into PROD environement, I would like measure potentials impacts. Thanks in advance, Best Regards, Jean-Christophe

HiWe are trying to install and use IFS Report Designer on a server on our network to connect to our hosted IFS environment. We have a VPN tunnel between our data centre and our hosted environment.Note we are on on IFS APPS10 Hosted but not IFS Cloud.I have been able to install the client but when trying to connect I get the error below:“You don’t have enough privileges to invoke this method” I’ve raised with IFS Support who have advised me to ask the Community.Has anyone seen this error before or can advise as it’s not clear what privileges? - For our hosted environment do we need particular access to the server (e.g. IFS Citrix) to run this? - We have VPN connection to the server but not sure if this is enough to access what we need? - Are there any other things we need to look at (certificates/IFS permissions etc.)? I’ve tried logging in as both IFSAPP and IFSADMIN.Any thoughts welcom

Hello.I am trying to add in a navigation path to take me through to the Background Jobs overview screen and populate the records which were executed #TODAY#. I have entered the following,page/BackgroundJobsHandling/BackgroundJobsOverview?$filter=Executed eq #TODAY# When I click the element I receive the following error. Error details: [{"code":"TYPES_NOT_COMPATIBLE","message":"The types 'Edm.DateTimeOffset' and 'Edm.Date' are not compatible."}] Anyone know if I am formatting the URL incorrectly?

Were do you change the options that comes up when you press on your name and you get the account settings etc? We have a user who does not have the “Caches” option. We also have users that is missing the “Page help” and the “Field description”.  

We are constantly having to reset/re select the column chooser configuration in the quick reports as they are losing the previous settings. So we have to select the columns again and again to view the report in list and table view. This happens in IFS cloud 22R2 version.Is there any solution for this?Thank you! 

Hello IFS Community.I created a Navigation Link in Page Designer from Product Structure to Inventory Parts in Stock, which takes two parameters, Contract and Part Number.This is the NavigateFilter, Contract eq $[Contract]This works as long as the current page has a value in search for Site/Contact. If it does not have a value, the navigation to IPIS will open up with the default Site parameter for the user. How can I introduce a filter in that Navigation Link that somehow says if the Site parameter is Null, then pass the same Null value to the destination page. The object is to display all inventory for all Sites/Contracts for that Part Number, or if present, just for that site.

Hi, Im using ifs.application.reportingservices.impl.extendedformatter.xslplugin.XSLPlugin plugin in cloud to change the formatting of an existing report using a rpl. But Im not sure what is the xml should be feed into this rpl. Hi,I’m planning to import App10 saved searches of the users into IFS cloud instance. As the formats are different in two versions, I want to de serialize the saved search conditions saved in the fndrr_client_profile_value of the app 10 database. They are currently serialized in to the xml tag <SERIALIZED_CONDITION>.Is there a way to de serialize and view these saved searches? I tried few options but nothing worked.ThanksRoshanga

Problem:When you make a API GET, you might want to filter on a nested entity. When you do this with the camunda engine, you are just unable to. In my opinion it seems only logical to be able to use the filter, but it stays empty. Solution:Make it available. Doesn't seem like an out of the box enhancement, more of a design flaw honestly.

Hi,On Apps10 Enterprise Edition is it possible to auto-populate a custom field based upon what is inputted to another custom field?In the same way that when a customer ID is selected in the Project screen, the Customer Name is then auto-filled immediately (see below).I have a custom field that is a lookup; when it is clicked into by the user it brings up a lookup that searches for part numbers. When a part number is selected I want a second custom field to be populated with the default location of that part.Is this possible? I don’t think it is, only built-in IFS fields can do this but I want to confirm.Thanks you,  

We would like to modify the installement plan on customer invoice after that the invoice has been created (modifi it on the customer order is not possible due to multiple constraints)We would like to be able to populate the installement plan information based on data on a custom entity.We are having difficulties doing that with BPA WorkflowThe isntallment information section is a bit touchy cause we must add/modify lines before registering other wise the register will not be possible. When opening the Installmeent plan and discounts page :  the batch request create the objkey

We need to add two new columns to the Inventory Part Barcodes Analysis screen in IFS ERP 9:  Login of the operator who printed the label Date and time We created a custom event, but it is not possible to trigger it when printing the report as nothing is changing during the printing process. As an alternative, we searched for a solution in the Report Archive. We noticed that in the Report Archive screen in IFS, each time we print the report, the two columns we need to add to the Inventory Part Barcodes Analysis are present. However, in the system info where the view and packages of the Report Archive page are displayed, it is empty.

Hello All,I’m facing an error while trying to enable the Custom event action and Projection Action for Workflows (BPA) in Cloud 23R1. Haven’t faced this issue in 22R2. Has anyone faced this issue earlier? Please advice. 

We are trying to cancel customer order invoice that are  in a Preliminary status.based on the trace file (cause we are able to do that manually) : The CancelDebitInvoice method is to be used. We are able to cancel the invoice using rest api, but when trying to implement this in a migration job : we have the following error : Arguments used to execute current operation are not allowed.

I’m using OData with IFS Cloud R23.2. I need to pull a specific DocumentText record related to a specific CustomerInfo record. In QueryDesigner I found that the DocumentText entity is connected to other entities via the DocumentText.NoteId attribute. Via the log console I found the NoteId for the Customer record I was referring to and by using that NoteId I can see the three DocumentText records for that customer. However, I do not see any place in the CustomerInfo where the NoteId is stored. Where can I find the NoteId for a Customer?
