Custom Object text/label does not change with IFS theme

We have some custom objects where the text/label for the object is black but when the user changes to the high contrast theme (black background) - the object text color doesn’t change with it so you end up not being able to see the label. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

IFS Cloud 23R2 - SFTP Reader/Sender health check monitoring

Hi All,How do we consistently monitor the health of SFTP Readers and Senders?Assume SFTP Reader or Sender does not have any access issues and can access the server endpoints.However, for some reason if SFTP Reader /Sender starts to not to pick up/send files, how do we monitor them quickly?Is it always via Application Messages? In this scenario what can be the states of Application Messages?For SFTP Reader, we can also use ‘Connect Reader Queue’ but there should be a way to consistently monitor both SFTP Reader and Sender health.Checking logs is not a solution as this is not about debugging any issues but monitoring the health frequently.

Problems with column chooser in Work Tasks screen

Some users are reporting 2 issues with column chooser on the work tasks screen.1. They add columns using column chooser to the Work Tasks screen and save the changes by logging of of IFS correctly with the Exit button to ensure they are saved correctly. They may seem fine for a period of time, and then one day when they login (days or even weeks later), they have disappeared and have to be manually added back again. The other issue with this is when they go to add the columns back again, some of them no longer show up in the Hidden columns list on the left. In the latest example, someone wanted to add the Task Card ID/Subtask ID column back, but is not in the list. If they start typing the name of it into the Filter box at the top of the Hidden Cols list, it becomes visible.Most of the complaints like this are for the Work Tasks screen, so what is going on here? We have a couple of users where this has happened multiple times.The only other information that maybe relevant is most of o

Send Saved Search Validation Error

IFS APPS 10Someone has created a saved search on the Purchase Order Lines screen, and it works for them. They have tried to send it to one of their colleagues, using the Send option in the search screen, but they get this error message. I have tested sending the same saved search with that user logged in on the test system and it worked. The only thing I can think of is that the list of parts in the Part No. field is very long - is there a length limit for search fields when sending searches? In my test, I only tried it with about 3 or 4 part no.s in my search.

Shop Floor Workbench - Start Production(Team)

Doing an MES integration. Looking through the API explorer, I cannot find an API that will allow us to start run time/ set up time as a team. We find plenty of start Machine Clockings, or labor clockings. I can only find start team using the virtual assistant. Surely there’s a way to start it with one API call. Current setupis as follows. Customization to ignore static code analysis

Hi everyone, I’m trying to modify a projection file (ExampleHandling-Cust.projection). An entity action. When working in the IFS developer studio the action will have an error that the action is not implemented. entity action with code analysis errorWhen I look at the projection core layer files (22R2 core files downloaded from build place), even these have this error for entity actions. Is there a way to tell the static code analyzer to skip this validation? Due to this error being categorized as a priority2 issue, it will not allow me to deploy the change. As far as I can tell the implementation should be correct now. Thanks,Lavon

IFS Update Analyzer - TLS 1.0

We are currently in the process of beginning our migration to the IFS environment and as apart of that, we would like to use IFS Update Anlayzer.However the application (the most recent, 10.020) crashes immediately upon launch.After investigating we found that it is because it requires TLS1.0 to be enabled, which for security reasons we have disabled across our environment.Not only is TLS 1.0 end of life, it will be disabled by default on Windows by the end of the year.Is there an configuration option to allow it to use TLS 1.2+ or an upcoming update that will rememdy this?

How does copying work for IFS Cloud environments hosted by IFS?

Hello,We have noticed that some of our customers' data is not included when IFS recopies environments (e.g. PROD to UAT).In fact, our customer had a system parameter which was present in the PROD environment, but which did not appear in the destination environment after the recopy.I'd like to know whether IFS performs a dump when recopying or whether a script excluding certain tables is executed?If so, can you provide us with the list of tables excluded during recopying?Thanks in advance.

PM Calendar Generation ORA-01841: (full) year must be between -4713 and +9999, and not be 0

Our maintenance pm calendar generation has been failing for the last couple days, and we can no longer get into Maintenance Plan on a PM Action. I have narrowed it down to the PM Plan Horizon definition. I believe it was setup this way to not have to remember to update this every year or so. In our test environment I have changed this value to 2025, and all is well. But I can’t change it back without unchecking the Validation Enabled box. Can you Insert PDF when 'Printing' to IFS Connect?

We have APPS 9 and we’re using Report Rules to route report output to a file store rather than a printer.So we have a rule that, instead of sending to a printer uses IFS Connect to copy the file.E.g. My question is, is there any way of using the PDF Inserts facility to include a PDF of our T’s & C’s on the end of each file we create us?

Commands and Data Types in Cloud

Dear community. I am working through an upgrade from Apps9 to IFS Cloud and am recreating some of the Custom Menus with Commands. I have come across the situation that didnt occur in apps 9, which is the data types in a Window with Transfer type of Menu/Command. Here is an example, a custom menu in Apps9 which transferred to Inventory Transaction History, and showed all transaction history associated with that material line, in Apps 9, the source/destination keys were ORDER_NO, RELEASE_NO, SEQUENCE_NO AND LINE_ITEM_NO mapped to SOURCE_REF1, 2,3,4 accordingly. This works fine in Apps9. In Cloud (23R1) when attempting to create the same, since the source data type in the Shop Order Material Line is a Number field, and the SOURCE_REF4 column is a String this error appears when attempting to load the Inventory Transactions History list. Hiding Employee Selector in Time Registration

Hi All, In IFS Aurena “My Time Registration” is used for reporting time.After installing IFS UPD 13, Employee Selector appears in the below white field, which is always visible. Since customer is using only using the Default employee they would like to hide this in IFS Aurena from Aurena Page Designer.From the view this should be possible by Deleting the Aurena web part that’s called “MyEmployeeSelector”. There’s no possibility to hide it. But if is deleted, the whole page “My Time Registration” doesn't work.Customer is looking for a permanent solution where it’s possible to hide this selector pane for the users. "Install IFS" Clickonce Chrome Extension Needs to be removed

Users are confused as they login due to the Additional Text on the Splash Screen - Install IFS Clickonce Chrome Extension. We are receiving the Additional text (see attached screens) of the IFS of a "Chrome extension" add-on and we need that removed. It looks like some background code may be deprecated:The problem is its using appVersion property and its deprecated. Recent System Changes:Changed extension for login from .com to .net and added Touch Apps application. How can we remove that "Chrome Click Once" message. It is a confusing message for our IFS user community and it is a fairly new message and hasn't been there until recently. In the past, we have been able to go into our IFS Splash page (E:\ifs\MIGR10\instance\migr10\www-root\index.html) and make updates to that page but I am not seeing that option anymore. We are on Apps 10 UPD12

IFS Cloud Lobbies not auto updating

Hello, We are currently facing an issue where lobbies are set to not auto update. When changing this field and setting lobbies to update based off an interval (300 seconds for example) when saving these changes, the lobby does not actually auto update, it reverts its settings back to auto update being turned off. What’s even more odd is that the interval value saves from the last change, so if it’s default value when turned on is 600 seconds, you turn the field on and change it to 300, then save. When reloading, the field is off but it still retains the 300 seconds when you turn it back on, so there is something being saved… just not the value for auto refresh... Has anyone else experienced this before? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan
