Good afternoon, I created a PL/SQL script in order to send emails to IFS users who have there password expiring within 7 days.Now what I dont know, is where in IFS can I save this code, to be able to run it daily?Basically like a quick report we create a scheduled task, but in this case it’s a procedure to send emails, which would also have a scheduled task? Related to this, is there a way to bypass the MAIL SENDER context type, which is set to PLAIN TEXT, and send only these emails with HTML code? Thanks in advance,Carlos Mendes

Hi, We added new font IDAutomationMICR in IFS Report, it is working fine in our local environment. but when we installed font  on client environment which is on linux, it is shows required information in Arial in place of IDAutomationMICR font.  We copied on IDAutomationMICR.ttf file in <fndext home>\repository\server\reports\fonts folder and reconfigured the application server and userconfig.xml file is also modified. When we are running report from IEE Application,  required information shows in Arial Font.  Regards,Kishore Nenwani

Common environment issue I have noticed and this is commonly seen in internal environments due to the VM shutting down performed during weekends. Error: An error related to managed server will be thrown after reconfiguring/restarting and the ManagedServer could even go to ‘failed_not_restartable' State. Resolution:  Navigate to the following config file - C:\IFS\DEV\wls_domain\DEV8\config\config.xml Search for ‘listen-address' Instead of the VM name an IP address will be shown for the managed server. This has to be changed back to the VM name.This can be done to resolve Admin Server failures too. I believe this should reduce a lot of time spent on investigating logs and recreating instances.The above is in

Getting below error User IFSADMIN is not allowed access. Most likely causes: * User not set as Active. * User is not granted connect privileges. Contact your system administrator if this condition persists.Authentication method is used as  database. FND_ENDUSER is given via FND_ADMIN user but not specifically. We have tried the new feature using (IFS standard) projections as a data source for lobby elements in 22R1, service update 3. In some cases it’s the only option if you want to navigate properly so it’s a nice feature. However, they only work in preview mode. When accessed through the lobby, they show no data. A look behind the curtains reveals a “Metadata not found” error. The lobbies are granted to a permission set, which we are testing with. Any clues to how to fix this problem?

Can the system be set-up for some users to be able to log into IFS on more than one device at a time? We are looking to be able to log onto multiple devices with 1 user account. For example, user logs onto a PC, then a portable tablet to move around a warehouse.

Dears,We are upgrading IFS 10 from IFS 7.5 we are getting 2 errors while deploying database upgrageJava.lang.outofmemory Java Heap space The installation gets struck on - Database_SYS.List_Rowkeys_To_Enable('&ENABLE_ROWKEY', '&ENABLE_ROWKEY_HOURS');Please suggest on the both. Can we updade rowkey after or before the upgrade.  Can we update rowkey in ifs7.5 itself and then do upgrade Please suggest on Java heap also.Best RegardsPankaj

Hi Team, When code fixes are deployed to a page for which page configurations were created in App10 Aurena, it generates Aurena errors since the page configuration was created based on the previous code. Could you please let me know whether there is a mechanism to create page configurations based on new code rather than creating manually from the scratch?Thanks.

Hi AllWe are upgrading from Apps9 to Apps10. We have around 400 users globally with roughly max of 250 at any point in time.With Apps9 we have a clustered Application server of two nodes, each node runs two managed servers (and a Admin server and http server), so that is four ManagedServers in total.For simplicity, we have decided to move away from the clustered setup. I am interested in anyone who has a Apps10 single node setup. How many ManagedServers run on your single node Application Server?ThanksMike

I am trying to display a full address in a multi-line custom field. The custom field settings are:read-only text (unformatted) with multi-line enabled The implementation type is a Select Statement to grab and concat the information.  I am using CHR(13) for the carriage return in the select statement.The format expected to be displayed in the custom field is:Address 1City, State, Zip CodeCountry The custom field displays in the information in one line and it seems that the carriage return did not work. However, when I copy and paste the information into notepad, the carriage return is here.Is there a way for a custom field to read a break line or carriage return for multi-line records and, if so, how?
