Does anyone have any documentation they can share on using a reverse proxy with a Touch App Server?

We are running IFS Apps10 UPD14We are using the IFS Boomi Connector for system integrations.  I know I can use our app owner user ID for the integrations.  How can I setup a non-app owner ID so it is valid in the IFS Connector?  I haven’t been able to find any documentation on this.

Does anyone know why we get below error, during the build process? According to IFS this type of custom menu can be executed on both single and multiple rows. I find this is not the case. I have a CM on tbwPurchChgOrderLinePart. I expect I will be able to select multiple purchase change order line and be able to RMB on CM, but when multiple lines are selected the CM option get greyed out. Has anyone noticed this issue?

Hello, Have anyone tried updating comments on Custom Field Attributes trough a script in the database. I am trying to avoid doing it from the client since it will unsynchronize and drop all grants related to the custom fields. Any ideas? Br Simon

We are running Apps10 UPD14In IEE - we can set a default saved search to run when a screen opens (inside Properties from Nav Tree).  For example - in Business Opportunity, automatically search for Business Opportunities where status is not closed or cancelled, and the main rep is the current user, sort in descending order by create date.Can we do the equivalent in Aurena?We are trying to figure out the fastest way we can get meaningful info in front of the user.  The sort order is one of the biggest usability challenges we have.  It seems like IFS automatically defaults to sort by create date in ascending order.  So - we are always seeing our oldest transactions first (customer orders, business opportunities, etc) and in general, these are the transactions we are least likely to want (we have 7 years of history).  

Hello!We have just cloned from production and reconfigured a test instance of Apps9.On the test instance, we’re getting an error that the license is invalid. We attempted to install licenses that we knew were good and got the same error. When we downloaded an emergency license, it worked fine, such as it is.The test instance has the same Customer ID, Installation ID & Installation key as production. We actually changed nothing related to licenses in the test instance - it’s a direct copy from a production instance.

Hi,Have an API call in a CREATE_OUTPUT_FILE migration job. I need to pump in a couple of variables so the comma to separate them is causing problems with the migration job as it is reading it as a new column,Anyone have experience of this. It has to be CSV. If only they would take Tab or similar!​​​​​​​

Hello, we have noticed that excel export from Object Balance Analysis in Aurena is missing these columns: Acc Depr Total, Net value, Acc. Depr Total in Parallel Currency, Net Value in Parallel Currency. All columns have in Page Designer in field Control = computedfield. Do you know if this can be bypassed some how? We are using 21R2 for now.Thank you

Dear community. I am creating a migration job to upload No Part lines to an existing purchase requisition and i have two code part columns to add at the same time. In the method list attribute for the PRE_ACCOUNTING table i can use PRE_ACCOUNTING_ID@50 which when i create new records brings the pre-accounting ID and the pre posting is inserted, all good….. however if i try to do an update after the original insert since there is no pre-accounting value generated by Seq 50 so it errors with Missing Mandatory Pre Accounting ID. I’ve set the value on the PRE_ACCOUNTING_ID on the Source Mapping tab to PURCHASE_REQ_LINE_API.Get_Pre_Accounting_Id(REQUISITION_NO, LINE_NO, RELEASE_NO) which brings the pre-accounting value no problem however since there is a fixed value in the Method List Attribute it ignores the value set in the Source Mapping Tab. If i remove the value in the Method List Attribute, the update works, but the insert fails….  Does anyone got any bright ideas, other than doing tw

Hello,Is there a way to pass the request body  (CLOB) which was passed in the Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.Call_Rest_EndPoint back to the callback function? Or any other way to retrieve the payload of the rest call to the callback function (other than including it in the response body) Tried to include it in the key_ref_ but since the value is greater than VARCHAR2(1000) it’s failing.

Hi all, We have a large offshore community that work in shifts, which can mean not having to login to IFS for multiple weeks. As you can imagen, every now and then a user has forgotten their Password.The user will create a request in our IT Self-help Portal (ServiceNow) and our support team will then reset the password in IFS. Analysis show that 1 of the 5 tickets raised, are for PW resets.It this not something IFS should/could be able to handle on the login-page? E.G. that you can request to have a new (random generated) PW send to your email address as registered in IFS?

Hello IFS Team,i try to integrate a webservice to IFS via Boomi. The IFS Version we are using is Aurena client version: 10.11.112.0 I am trying to create/update the Tax id Number in CustomerInfoSet/CustomerAdresses/CustomerDocumentTaxinfoArray The Api for an manuell update call in IFS looks like this As we can see the Projection is CustomerHandling, but in the api Dokumentation there is no create/update for  CustomerDocumentTaxInfoArray.There is only a get for Reference_CustomerDocumentTaxInfo. So am i using a wrong Projektion to insert Data into the Document Tax Information? Or is there a another way how this works? ThanksFelix

Is it possible to resize Aurena element in a detail page? We want to show more information without users having to scroll down in below page. The posting information in below example is hidden since the Invoice image element is too large and users have to scroll down to see the posting Information.

In a Aurena Page, I’m invoking an Assistant which contains List. Now I wrote a command In List with Selected records mode to capture the data of selected records and send an email with selected record values.Now, I want to enable this command all the time(even if records are not selected). So that I can still send an email without the selected records values.If i keep the command below the List(not inside list) in Assistant. I’m not able to capture the selected record values.Does anybody have an idea to handle this?

I am keen understand what the practices others are following with regard to version/change control of permission sets in IFS. We have tried Exporting Permission sets via XML to a version control system SVN/Git Repository with mixed success. If carried out diligently, is that it provides a full audit and commentary and it is possible to restore the old permission set (it does need to be imported as a new name)However, it is easily forgotten or skipped in a rush, and we were finding that a large number of Permission sets were updated with either Quick Report or IAL deployment. Exporting each permission set in this scenario was not workable..We are keen to audit/track permissions changes that grant/revoke the Functional Areas that we have defined within Segregation of Duties analysis. We are now looking to capture changes to this with a daily report (using two IALs that snapshot the access on alternative days). This will allow us to interrogate and possibly ensure compliance with the exte
