Workflow Custom Fields Not Populated to Collection

Hello community,I am reading Reference_CommMethod from CustomerHandling projection. Restarting print job due to rendering container failure

None of the operational reports are working in one of my customer’s user place environments. They are on IFS Cloud 21R2 SU10. On premise customer. They have many other environments but the issue surfaced only in one of the environments. I would really appreciate it if you can give me some pointers to debug this issue.Here are the things I have checked so far. Verify  Message Queue  and Report Messages Queues are setup properly. Error when deleting end-user role

When deleting an end-user role in Apps10 we encounter the error “Unable to insert row.Combination of company XXX and site XXX not allowed”  what could be the cause and how to fix this?

Hide or move tab in Attachments

Hi, Do anybody knows if we can move/hide tabs in Attachments Panel with PageDesigner?We can modify the contents of each tab, but how I can move it?We are on 24.2.5.After upgrade we got a new tab in attachments for Shop Floor Workbenck, and this tab is set as default tab, but not relevant for us.It would be nice to either hide it or move it as the last tab.

Invalid Print Range causing issues!

Hi allWe are hoping someone can assist with an issue we have noticed. We recently upgraded to IFS Apps10.One of our crystal reports is causing our print agent to fall over each time the report is printed from IFS.The IFS print agent logs show “Invalid Print Range”, this error may suggest that the crystal report margins or a field may not agree with the printer settings.We have also seen if the document is sent to print double sided the print agent stays active which is good, moment we force the document to print single sided, the print agent falls over.Has anyone seen his issue before - should we be looking at the crystal report or printer, driver or printer settings?ThanksRavi

Assign Permissions to a User via Workflow

Hello, I wanted to check to see if it was possible to grant a permission set to a user via workflow? I’ve been trying to automate a user creation when a new employee gets created (got the initial account setup and was able to assign the default company and site) but I was exploring some of the permission set calls. I was looking at a call called GrantUsers(Role,Grantees):Void. When I was using that call, I was running into errors regarding BPA Workflow error: Cannot commit in Current PL/SQL Session. I’m guessing it may not be possible to do this at this time via workflow? Maybe there’s another approach I need to look at this. I just want to confirm. I’m currently using IFS Cloud 24.2.4. EXT_FILE_TRANS_TAB growing and cannot be cleaned

the  EXT_FILE_TRANS_TAB is taking more and more space in the the database and we do not have a clue about how to clean or purge it, it looks that there is still in the table row related to load file ID that are no more available in EXT_FILE_LOAD.Does anyone already meet the same issue and/or knwo how to clean the EXT_FILE_TRANS_TABthank you in advance for any help, comment or remarks

Why I cannot view an attachment image uploaded via CRM Companion from IEE page.

Hi All,I was able to successfully add an attachment image via CRM Companion, and I can also confirm it from IEE.However, the problem is that I cannot preview it in IEE.Am I missing something? Execute Workflow with End Message and User Task

Hello experts, I developed a workflow that reads customer order no from activity seq (order no is activity ID field) and retrieves email address from customer order or customer master then sends a confirmation email about activity finish date. The workflow works fine but i have a small issue with showing result message. When the order does not exist or when no email address found i want to end event with a message of detail issue. If the process is successful, i am showing the user a confirmation message with language and receiver’s email address with User Task (1 form field with read only option).My problem is when no order or no email address found. If i change end event type to IFS failure or terminate end event, i cannot add a command button because the command validation returns error.  During my tests, i achieved to show a message when the event was terminated but after finalizing all settings (of course i made lots of changes in the flow :), i cannot generate a message to user s

Visibility of columns in list page for IFS Cloud

Please check the following column visibility experiment for the standard list page “/page/CustomerOrders/List” and maybe you can help me answer the questions I asked at the end of the post.When I open the page in table view, not all columns are visible by default:As an IFSAPP, I have set the B2bOrder attribute to “Column Visible”, “Default To Previous” and “Visible”,  but it is still not visible in the table view by default to IFSAPP and other users - see below. How to handle a Mandatory Insert column in an Excel Migration Job Modify method

We have an Excel migration job to append or update purchase price list records. The method we use is PURCHASE_QUANTITY_PRICE_API, with New and Modify checked.  In this method there are columns for a rental indicator, with flags MI (Mandatory Insert)  When we leave the Default Value for these fields empty, the job runs into an error because the column is mandatory. When we put a default value like above the inserts run fine, but on modifying an existing record the response is: “Field [RENTAL] in Purchase Quantity Price may not be modified.”  How can we work around this?Is it for example possible to check the existance of the record in the SOURCE_COLUMN?

How to create an IFS user with the same privileges as IFSAPP

Hello everyone,A customer would like to create a personal user who has the same privileges as IFSAPP and can perform the same operations as IFSAPP, rather than an IFSAPP user, in order to respond to an audit.To achieve this, please tell us what settings, including granting privileges, should be made to the IFSAPP user on IFS and the IFSAPP user on Oracle.To set up the same as the IFSAPP user on IFS, I understand that you can grant the "FND_ADMIN" privilege set to the user from the following URL.Are there any other settings that are required?https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r1/030_administration/010_security/020_permission_sets/007_predefined_permission_sets/To set up the same as the IFSAPP user on Oracle,Is it enough to grant the permissions granted to IFSAPP in DBA_ROLE_PRIVS, DBA_SYS_PRIVS, and DBA_TAB_PRIVS to an individual user,and grant create, update, and delete permissions for objects in the IFSAPP schema?Are there any other settings that are required?Regards.

Group Consolidation 24R2

We are trying to automate consolidation so it runs daily. We currently have to execute approximately four steps: Go into Reporting Status (within Group Consolidation > Balance Transfer and Adjustment) and select all the reported entities and click remove reported balances. We stay in Reporting Status (within Group Consolidation > Balance Transfer and Adjustment) and select all the reported entities and click report balances after we remove the reported balances. The, we go into Consolidation Status (Financials – Consolidation > Group Consolidation) and select the period we want to consolidate. Then, click rollback consolidation. Once rollback, we then click the top of the tree (highest node) and consolidate balances with the consolidation status. Is there any way to automate any parts of this? I looked at the documentation and couldn’t find anything.

Use multiple usergroups in a context

Hi, trying to use Context Mappings to limit who can edit a section of a page, but it’s for several user groups, not just one.  We have a mixture of user groups names - some have spaces, some don’t. I’ve tried a few things and can’t get it to work. To be clear, I’m here:  And here’s what I’m using.  There’s nothing in there but user groups, and they’re all in this format:(USERGROUP = “USERGROUPID HADSPACE”) OR (USERGROUP = OTHERUSERGROUPID), etc., etc. What am I doing wrong?

Unexpected internal server error occurred in Integration

Is there any limitation for having nested List of Structures in REST API Integration Like below In above image each AnalysisNo object within AnalysisNo array have inner array called DataPoints, when I'm having the inner array I'm getting the below error, but when I tried to execute that function in PLSQL its executed without any errorwithout that Inner array it works fine as below Is there a limitation like this or any workaround for this? Below are the projection function and the structures

x-www-form-urlencoded request body

Hi, I am trying to integrate IFS Cloud with another system to send data. To send the data first I need to get the access token. For this i am using x-www-form-urlencoded in postman and it works as expected and retrieves the access token correctly.  But if try this as a key value pair, am always getting an error. (Same if i try this from IFS as well). Am I missing anything here? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

BPA Workflow - result set exceeds row limit for the Query Collection

I have a Workflow where I want to calculate Inventory Accuracy → in order to do this, I need to read all the lines in the CountResultsHandling → Reference_CountingReportLine for the current year.When I inspect the WF, I get the below error:The result set size exceeds either the row limit or the character limit for the Query Collection.What’s the max rows allowed in the Query Collection? Any advice how I could workaround this limitation?Of course, I could further filter the Colelction for a smaller time period, but my customer wants the WF to take into account the data for the full current year. @kamnlk any suggestion will be appreciated.

Question relating to access to an external network shared drive

Currently in the process of setting up an integration in IFS Cloud 24r2Requirements:An External System will generate a CSV file containing the shop order number and place the file into a shared folder (external network) IFS should pick the CSV file up use the shop order no (contained in the file) to retrieve the relevant picklist The picklist information will be returned to the shared drive in required format The External System will retrieve the picklist information and use it to carry out picking, once completed the system will create a new CSV file confirming the completed picks IFS will then pick up this file and used the data to confirm picks in IFS.As the folder is on an external network the vendor of External System has advised that we will need to set up a Gateway to be able to access the shared folder on the external network.Am I correct in assuming that this will require setting up a VPN Gateway in Azure using the External Server network path e.g. \\ExternalServer\Shared alon

IFS APP10 File sending to FTP server error - Error while writing to file

Hi All, When we try to send files from application to FTP server, following error message appear in the application message screen.Caused by: java.io.IOException: Error while writing to file [EDI810_CD18369111827.xml] However, once we change the FTP details (FTP reader) error changed to “Error during file sending Caused by: java.io.IOException: Could not login to FTP(S) server”. Therefore it seems the communication to FTP server working correctly.Note - We can access the FTP from file transfer software (WinScp/Filezilla) to place files in the FTP server using same credentials/details.
