Dear IFS Automation Team,we are running remote deployment of IFS Cloud 23R2SU7 and we would like to test ML interfaces for Expenses and Invoices. Some time ago I got attached document how to configure ML with 23R1. Can you pls. provide the same for 23R2? As technical documentation seems to be silent about the configuration;-(  Thanks Jan

Hi,Since we installed 23R1 we have the possibility to create a button linked to a BPA.But we noticed that in this case all the errors will be raised with the same message : If you launch a standard flow with standard errors you won’t see the right message. Instead you have this generic message shown in the screen shot.Is there a way to show the right error message or is this a bug that should be fixed ?Thank youFabrice

Hello.I’m making a new custom event action which uses the PDF_REPORT_CREATED event.Where do I find informations related to the filling of the different PDF_PARAMETER variables? In my tests, some of them are filled but not all of them.ThanksIFS APPS 10

I’m trying to create a lobby element that counts the number of active sessions, the number of logged in active users.Looking in function ‘IAM Sessions Per Client’ I can see that Projection IamSessionHandling is used for this purpose, listing active sessions in a specific IAM client. However, when trying to use this projection in a Lobby Datasource it is not possible to enter a ‘Data Root’, there doesn’t seem to be any entitysets for this projection?Does anyone know how I can use this projection, or if there are any other ways to display the number of active users.IFS 25.1.9

Hi, i wonder if someone can share experience of using Report Studio instead of, or in combination with, report designer.BR Håkan

I am trying to use the ReceiveEinvoiceService rest endpoint to pull in supplier invoices.  I have 2 attachments that I would like to associate with the invoice.  One attachment is a pdf of the original invoice that we received from the supplier.  The other attachment is a csv file for the data we were able to OCR from the pdf.  My end goal is to have IFS receive the invoice details and for it to show up in the External Supplier Invoices section so that an end user can match the invoices to purchase orders and receivers. On my end, I know the unique identifiers from the Oracle Tables -> Supplier (the Supplier_Id column inside of the Supplier_Info_Tab table) and the Company (the Company column inside of the Company_Tab table).   Based on the documentation, I can use the SupplierIdentity to specify the Supplier and the CustomerIdentity to specify the Company on the request.   For my test scenario, the supplier is associated to multiple companies in IFS, but the invoice itself is only f

Hi, I want to send a data file from IFS Cloud to a Google Cloud Service Bucket using their REST endpoint. The google rest endpoint is authenticated via the OAuth 2.0 JWT mechanism, where the client has to create a signature using the given private key and send it to Google for authorization of the request. In IFS Cloud routing addresses, only REST Client ID & Client Secret Authentication (Basic Authentication) is supported, not JWT. Is there another way to authenticate using JWT in IFS Cloud? Best Regards,Charitha

Hi everyone,We recently upgraded to 25R1 and some users in all our environments (development, test and production) get HTTP error 431 on particular IFS screens.  Only our production environment uses single sign-on, the other environments are username/password based.A small number of users get the errors on viewing the details of assigned work tasks - those users get the error in all environments but other users do not get the error on the same screen.  Some other users are getting the same error when viewing customer orders, but again it’s not all users. It was suggested that the LINKERD2_PROXY_OUTBOUND_SERVER_HTTP2_MAX_HEADER_LIST_SIZE and LINKERD2_PROXY_INBOUND_SERVER_HTTP2_MAX_HEADER_LIST_SIZE settings be increased to 65536 but this didn’t make any difference.   It seems possible that the error may be from Cloudflare, as the browser developer log does not show any IFS trace information, but we’re not certain.Has anyone else seen these errors or have any suggestions on why they are ha

Hi,Is there anyone out there with the knowledge to help me solve this mystery? When fetching a dynamic Image stored as a BLOB in the data base into Report Designer and then previewing the report, there is a black background displayed on signatures created in a Service Work Task (fetched from ifsapp.JT_TASK_SIGNATURE) , but not on other objects fetched from Media Library (ifsapp.media_item). The signatures where the error is caused are all stored as BLOBS and when previewing them in Oracle SQL the background is white:Previewing BLOB in Oracle SQL.But when printing them on PDF, the background becomes black for some reason, while other BLOBs are presented with white background. In this sample the signature is printed twice (black squares with blue signature) and a BLOB presenting a coffee machine is printed correctly in the lower left corner as comparison. Previewing BLOB on PDF (Adobe or Microsoft Edge) through Report Designer. In Report designer the code for fetching both the coffee machi

Hello, I was looking to use the new quick sight report functionality. II have defined a query for the report but for some reason I don’t see an option for the data member regarding my data source. I was wondering if maybe I missed something simple here or if it’s a bug? I was hoping to make a new label.  Thanks,Jay

Hi Team, I’m getting this kind of error when trying to save the .report model. but I RDF doesn’t throw any kind of error when deploying. Any thoughts?

We have several business units in our company and most of them need to identify specific custom attributes that only make sense to them. So rather than having a bunch of custom fields displayed that confuse or clutter up a page, we’ve assigned those business units to their own dedicated Context User Group so that we can make page configurations dedicated to how they function and view their data. But since its highly recommended that you never modify the global context, if we add a custom attribute to a page that everyone should have we repeat that page configuration for each context user group.      So I’m looking to see if setting up a COMPANY defined context mapping is viable. If we make configurations to a page that is needed by all business units we assign them to a Company Context so all users would see it and wouldn’t have to repeat those configurations as well as re-baseline them. Problem that then occurs is no other PC can be assigned to a different context on this page.

Hello. We would like to send an email to a customer with the PDF file of their invoice as attached file. What’s the best solution for that? I was thinking via rule report, is that the best way? Also, in that case, how can we do the sending?ThanksIFS 10 - upd 5

Hello.I made a custom event action which calls the PDF_REPORT_CREATED action to send emails with a pdf file, containing the customer invoice, that I send to the customer, but is there a way to archive those pdf files on a server? I thought they would be generated on the IFS middleware server but I can find no pdf file thereThanks IFS APPS 10, UPD 5

Hi AllCould you please explain why the PreAccounting entity cannot be found in the "All Entities" list in Query Designer, even though it exists in the Entity List? Do I miss something?  Best regards,Feng

Looking at the documentation for LOV Searching is shows that the functionality should use contains, however when creating a customer order as example. When I try entering a customer the logic used is startswith. Am I misunderstanding the logic here? Has anyone been able to change this logic? Thanks,Jamie

HiHas anyone got any experience of this or already achieved this setup?Looking for advice on what RFID scanners/tags work well. Many thanks,Pete

I have a number of custom attributes that I need to add to an Entity (WorkBenchLabel) in Cloud version 25R1. I can see the custom attributes in the Entity Configuration page of WorkBenchLabel but in order to add them in Page Designer I have to add the view that references the custom attributes in the Entity Configuration page. But “Additional Views” is not present on the  Entity Configuration of WorkBenchLabel (see pic). It should be where the x is.How do I get around this?Thank you

Hi All,Could you please outline the formal procedure for deleting a company that has existing transactions within an IFS Applications environment?Regards,MalinG.

Community,We have a request needs to download all the objects and their structure from Business Object Explorer window. any idea how to download into Excel? Thank you.

I can create a Query using Query Designer with a parameter.  I can then create a Quicksight report based on the published Query.  I can go to Order Report and am prompted for a value for my parameter.  All is well with the world.  If I want to add another parameter to my Query in Query Designer, I can do that and Synchronize the Query.  If I then go to Order Report and refresh the screen, my new parameter appears.  If I give the new parameter a value, I get an error.P1Rep/QsrParameters (server error)Malformed Request.Error details: [{"code":"UNKNOWN_CONTENT","message":"'ParamAbcClass' can not be mapped as a property or an annotation."}]Server stack trace error(s):  Tree should be empty but still has content left: ParamAbcClassI’ve tried Unpublish/Republish too.  I’ve also tried unpublishing my Quicksight report and republishing.  The only thing that works, is to recreate the Quicksight report based on the updated Query.  Surely this can’t be the solution?

Could someone please advise how to add the company footer in Report Designer for instant invoice for example please?Do we need to create a custom field to retrieve the value, or is there another way to access it directly ? if so may i have guidance on the how to please?

Should I assume that the .REP layout files, that are created in Report Studio, are to be placed into the customer’s solution repository, just like any other layout that is created? I don’t see any guidance in the tech docs on this process - other than the idea of export/import between instances.Does IFS have anything indicating best-practice for the new Report Studio layouts?  Should we advise our clients to follow the same practice as when a new RDL layout is created ie: put it in the proper server/reports/layouts folder and PR it into the customer solution master?

In Cloud has anyone accomplished this and if so, how?  What is the transformation method? Thanks!
