current 25R1. The existing Duplicate Check Rules appear very narrow to Customer names and Leads. Are there future plans to include creating Contacts and Persons?

Hi,
Do you mean the main LUs you can use in Duplicate Check Rules?
We can already use the Business Lead Contact and Supplier Request Contact in the duplicate check for Lead and Supplier Request, respectively.
Are you looking to perform a duplicate check for a customer based on the customer contact (i.e., a person associated with the customer), similar to how it works for Leads, OR are you looking to perform a duplicate check for ‘Persons’ based on person attributes?
(Additionally, would you be able to explain why you would need a duplicate check for a ‘Contact’ in addition to a ‘Person’?)
