Am I missing something?  This is one example.  There are other screens similar I find.  When I open the Purchase Order screen why is “Order Number” not one of the default search selectors?  Is this an unusal request?  Another ‘pet peeve’ would be that I have to re-select this Order No search field every time I open the screen.  Is there any way to ‘save’ which search options have been selected previously?  It’s such a waste of time/so inefficient.    Thanks!

We are running 22R2 SU7 and get the following error in Connect (Application Messages) when receiving a large inbound message.“ExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Exception while sending data Caused by: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out”This happens when a large inbound JSON message gets posted to IFS Gateway and then routed to a routing address with either Projection or REST-API endpoint and executed by the Batch Processor. The error occur after 500 seconds so we suspect some timeout setting to be set to 500 seconds but we haven’t found any setting like that. We have default setting which for Request Timeouts and none of them are 500 seconds. Also the Work Timeout settings for Senders and Readers have a different (in our case larger) setting than 500 seconds.Anyone have an idea what setting we need to change (increase) to solve the problem?

We are on the road to use Cloud but one functionality that is no longer available in Cloud is the Keyword Search or Search Domains. There is already a post that you can upvote for IFS to reintroduce or provide us with a search-like capability similar to this feature- Reintroduce Enterprise Search-like capability for IFS Cloud | IFS Community. Has anyone found an alternative solution in the mean time?

There are some Aurena Marble syntax which we cannot find the detailed explanation in Development Guide of IFS Cloud or hints in IFS Developer Studio. For example, warningsenabled. Is there any reference document we can get more information about each syntax? Thanks!

ProblemIn Aurena, when Error/Warning/Information messages pop up in the right bottom corner of the page, they fade out within a second or two. Most of the time, the popup message content cannot be read prior to the fade out.I have found out a Solution ID related to the IFSAPP that mentioning, this issue will be solved in near future for the IFSAPP’s (please refer the Solution ID 289179).  Recreated in core: IFS CloudBusiness Impact: Customers cannot read the full Error/Warning/Information popup messages, due to the faded out quickly. Hello All, I know there’s no way to setup the alignment of data in a List lobby element, but I thought by default it should be aligned to the left.However, I have one list where the # of Opportunities is right aligned and it makes the Account Value quite difficult to read. This is how the fields are arranged in the element: Any ideas why some columns are right aligned and some others are left aligned? 

Hi all,We’re on Cloud 23R2.A question around the logical printers that aren’t connected to a physical printer.In Apps9 we have a logical printer - PDFEMAILER which isn’t connected to a physical printer. When the users print specific order reports to this printer, a custom event will pick it up and email the pdf to the external parties. This has been working fine. Now when I try to do the same in Cloud (an upgraded system from apps9), the print jobs go to Remote Working when I print to PDFEMAILER logical printer. If I print to a logical printer that has a connected network printer, it comes out fine and the job goes to state - Complete.  Printing to the standard no _printout printer too works fine where the job gets completed and the pdf gets archived. Things I’ve tried:Reinstall, restart PA, restart utility server (the server with PA installed) Create a new logical printer (without a connected physical printer) Restart reporting pods on mws Any ideas why? Hello everyone, The following is occurring in IFS cloud 22R2. We have noticed that when certain users log in images fail to load and they receive a “No access” warning message. Interestingly enough it only occurs when the user logs in with certain user IDs, but this isn’t the case for all users. Example:Person/PC 1 logs in as userID TESTUSER1, they can see the imagesPerson/PC 1 logs in as userID TESTUSER2, they can see the images Person/PC 2 logs in as userID TESTUSER1, they can see the imagesPerson/PC2 logs in as userID TESTUSER2, they can not see the imagesError message:  Things we have tried:refreshing the users browser cache refreshing the application resource cache clearing the mapping cacheAny suggestions on rectifying this issue would be appreciated.  Thank you,LEdwards

We are currently working on the upgrade from IFS V8 to IFS Cloud 23R2. We have events actions for sending e-mail notification to users with an IFS URL.So, we were forced to update all this navigation URL to be in accordance with Cloud version. Example of an URL added in an event action : https://uat1.ifs.asf.pri/main/ifsapplications/web/page/ChangeRequest/Form;$filter=RequestNo eq $REQUEST_NO$This kind of URL is working smoothly but only for the related environment. The issue we are facing is that as we are on a test environnement and not on the PROD environment, the beginning of the URL is working today but it will not work tomorrow in the PROD environment as it will not be the same. Consequently, to avoid modifications on all events actions containing an URL, we would like if it possible to use a dynamic URL that will change depending on a variable which will be, in our case, the system URL value entered in the system parameters.  Thanks for your help

Hi,I am deploying the IFS Chrome extensions to our clients from intune.But I need to be able to push out the setting that trigger the Extension “on click”.By default the exention is installed with “on all websites”, but I need to change that to “on click”.Does anyone know if that is possible? Hello, Has anyone else noticed that a few projections are missing from 23R1’s list that were previously in 22R2? We noticed that some projections, such as CustomerReceiptHandling is available in 22R2 but is gone in 23R1, which is causing issues for us since we are having issues with register arrivals and RMA processes. Has anyone else encountered this? and if so, what is the fix for this? Any and all advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

When you RMB from the Customer Analysis > Print Statement of Account in the Options tab the Batch Printout check box can be unchecked. When this is done and the parameters are set for multiple customers individual PDFs are created for each customer. Doing this and using a report rule and IFS Connect lets the user create a unique PDF per customer, name the report specific to the customer, and save it to a file location. However, when the same report is run via the Order Report or the Schedule Report option the “Batch Printout” checkbox is not available.In the order report the option is not available: The option to Batch Print seems to only be available on the screen you don’t need it (Customer Analysis), but not available on the screen you do (Order Report or Schedule Report).Other posts have listed bug 121546 from 2015 Apps 8, but their does not appear to be an update on this. Is this intentional or is there another setting the customer needs to choose to make this available on othe

Hi, I’m currently trying to automatically populate a Custom Field using a BPA workflow.The BPA workflow I have to update the custom field I know is working in essence I’ve tested it updates the value just using a “Read” action. I’m trying to get this BPA action to execute after creating a New Manual Supplier Invoice and update the custom field on Manual Supplier Invoice which is created. The problem I think I’m struggling with is that the this “New Manual Supplier Invoice” assistant is based on a virtual set and the ManualSupplierInvoiceHandling Doesn’t have a POST/CREATE directly in the api. We are currently using IFS Apps10 - Update 19 and our users are starting to report that IFS Enterprise Explorer would randomly shut down on them.We checked our background jobs to see where a pile up started happening in the queue and we found that the pile up starts happening first thing in the morning after the background job = Batch_Sys.Fnd_Heavy_Cleanup_Is this happening to anyone else? Is there anywhere else in IFS that I could check?The only major change we did is updating our APPS10 to 19 but this was mid November 2023 and we started getting these reports at the end of December 2023/beginning of January 2024.

When searching Work Tasks, it is often necessary to select a number of Work Types to include in the query. From the snip below, it is not easy to do this since the list is not presented as a tick box. Am I missing something ?  Status LOV is presented as a tick box which is very easy to use.
