Hi All ,

 

Currently we are facing issue with our IFS cloud environment after upgrade as 24R1. Work task  Screen from Request management  is not reflecting any task on it and even if we create a new task it doesn’t shows on Request Work Tasks screen. 

Moreover, if we try to schedule the task in Dispatch console it says IFSAPP doesn’t have access to Work Task . 

 

Can anyone help on this please.

@kumarina I have a customer for which I recently did a release update from 23.2.2 to 24.1.0. I can see the existing Request Work Tasks without any issues. So I don’t think this is a general bug.

 

Could you have a look at the Service Organization → Access Groups and make sure your user is part of at least one of the Access Groups of that Service Organization.

 


Thank you @Marcel.Ausan  for your quick and detailed response and it worked with that setup.

 

However, I still have question as why only work task screen detail not accessible and able to access request detail even without this setup. Also before this upgrade our team have not did any of this setup for screen accessibility .

@kumarina the Request MAnagement and NextGen Service Management is generally a new feature and it evolves quite significantly with every new release. So, I guess it depends from which RU you arrived into 24R1 as there might have been some heavy development in between.

I would recommend you follow @Alexander Heinze ‘s posts on NextGen Service Mgmt as he maintains a nice documentation on what’s new in this area with every new release.
