Field Service Management (FSM) & Planning and Scheduling Optimization (PSO)

Hi, In the PSO parameters menu we modify the parameter "SelectableCommittedActStatuses" with the values "Do Not Schedule" and "Accepted".But when we have a task in the "Commited" state, when we analyze which are the possible states to update, other states are showing up than the ones we assigned to the parameter, it seems that it's not filtering:   Are we having a misinterpretation of what this parameter is supposed to do? Best regards 

Hi,How can I setup a currency as per region? It is like invoice of a particular region should have a different currency like US will have USD, India will have INR etc. I know 2 places--customer screen/company screen where currency is entered, is there anywhere else we can map the currency?When I created a person res group & mapped him with company/site with currency as euro, it defines the cost of resource in euro that is expected but when the hrs are defined in task & system calculates cost, it does not show euro on screen (see below), so how do we know the cost calculation is in euro? Where is euro coming up and what this unit of measure means? 

hiI am working in IFS cloud--FSM(request management module). I assigned competency in the task using additional qualifications tab but in dispatch console, when i see view Eligible resource, it does not apply this filter  on competency

I added a new lookup field on the Team screen,  this lookup field is mapped to Person table in the backend. Now when i click on that lookup field, it shows only Person id from the Person table, but i want to show First Name, Last Name and other columns as well.  Where can i configure the columns to be displayed ?

I have extension table called c_task_extension which is an extension of Task table, in my lobbies whenever user clicks on a counter element i want the user to navigated to Task list screen. For the user to be navigated to Task list screen i have added a navigation filter which will query the extension table as well, which looks like below.I have added the relationship in custom metadata of Task table any help on how we can join extension table in lobby navigation ?

Hi, Is it possible to create an unavailability pattern in FSM or PSO?We tried to look at calendar exception from the Person menu and in the PSO directly, but you can only create unavailabilities in a time interval. What we want is, for one unavailability, to create more of that same unavailability with the same duration and for each day of the week.For example, create an unavailability that always repeats from 9am to 12pm from Monday to Friday.Does anyone know if this is possible? Best regards

hiI am trying to initiate a serv request which shows me below error-I am surprised as where is resource 1 being used here? I chose a service & serv organization that are nowhere linked to resource 1  

hi In FSM module in IFS, I created a location & tagged it with a region. Inside the task of that service request, I chose that location but I am unable to see region populated by default.The region to which location is taggedI entered this location in work taskRegion is not populated and I cant add that as well. (under PSO scheduling information in the work task) Since region is not there inside the task, when I am using View eligible resource in dispatch console, it is not applying any filter on region which I expected. I am trying to remove the location so that I can manually add the region but I don’t see any option to remove the address in the task once entered.

Hi Team,Is there any option available in PSO to easily identify 2 man task in PSO - Resources screen. I can see we have link task which shows in PSO - Task screen.In our previous used tool if i click 1st task it will automatically shows link to another task in engineer Gantt.In below example we have assigned 2 man task for 2 FT, but as planner we cant easily identify it. we need some identity like below in Resources screen.Regards,Shiyaz

Hi,I have view and watched the video on the KB Article below.But I am still having issues trying to get some of the bridges to be blocked along the River Thames in London. For anyone UK Based who have an Operations Team who don’t like to send Field Service Technician North or South of the water, have you implemented anything? I’m looking at specifically from Dartford Crossing through to the bridges in Central London, so the DSE isn’t using them. I have in the past queried barriers and believe some have been successfully implemented. I was instructed to use the Blockages section too, shown below.   Which then results in the map looking like;Note the red marker on the point I want to block, and also the tail of the barrier going out to sea. Again I was instructed in the past to do this.  Getting into central London that is a little bit more complicated, however it’s more steps than what is shown on the video. I wish the barriers were that simple. I have tried that, but we’re still seeing

Hi,Is there anything like cost type/hourly rate type in IFS FSM module- I have FSE who works on service requests tasks. The FSE/technician might have diff rates like normal, overtime, nonbillable etc & the cost calculation should be based on the hrs filled in that category. Ex. his normal rate is say $50 & say his normal hrs are 5, so cost will be 50*5, but if his overtime hourly rate is $80 & overtime hrs he filled is 3, then cost will be 80*3. So want to know where these rates can be defined?

Hi,we like to create an new product status in FSM 6. In the FSM Codes → PRODUCT_STATUS are two entries. Installed (Code Value 1) and Uninstalled (Code Value 2).We´ve created a global code for the PRODUCT_STATUS and changed the lookup in the product screen in the UI Designer. The new code was displayed as expected.BUT: If we try to save the new product-status we get the following error-message.“Column(s) Status To in table Product Tranlog have invalid values.”So i think there is a validation to the FSM Codes for PRODUCT_STATUS. Does anybody know were this validation is located?If i user one of the already existing codes, erverthing works fine.Maybe somebody can tell us where to find the validation or tell us how to set up an new product-status.Thanks
