Which time zone do the timestamps in FSM server logs in cloud environments represent?

Hi experts,Can you let let me know in which time zone do the timestamps in the server logs for FSM cloud environments represent? Is it a common time zone across all FSM cloud environments or is it specific to customer time zone?Cheers,Buddhima

How to send critical messages/notes to FSM6 mobile Important Information

Hello community. We are looking for options on if and how to send critical place or task notes to a technician using FSM mobile and have them appear in the Important Information box.  Scenario; a task is assigned to a field technician and there are is a specific note type (i.e. “Alert”) on the related place record.  Can we have this appear in the Important Information field on the Home Screen?Thanks,Richard

Client Script for Web Client

Hello,I am having some troubles with client scripts and client scripts SQL. I am trying to create a client script that will get user_def9. When I run a test, I am able to get an alert for alert("TEST"); → Working alert(personID); → Working alert(selectedValue + "this is a test")  → Alert only shows “this is a test” alert(personType) → Not working. Survey answers are lost upon editing

Hello everyone. When a user, while filling out a survey, revises an answer to a previous question, it results in the deletion of all subsequent answers.Example: user answers the questions in a survey and reaches question 12. Then the user modifies the answer to question 4. As a result, answers to questions 5 to 12 are lost.Is there a way to alter this behavior and make sure answers are not automatically deleted?

Cannot save values on alias table

Hi Guys,I have the following table structure on the request screen. There’s a parent-child relationship between order lines and claims. These two custom tables are connected as follows, I can add/edit records to the claims section without an issue.Now, I need to add the claims table (c_po_line_claims) under the tasks tab of the same request screen. But this time the connection is made via different fields.For this I created an alias of the c_po_line_claims table and made the connection as following. The data is filtered correctly. But when I try to update a record (ex: change the amount and save), I get the following error. It’s trying to run an update on the alias table, which is not an actual table in the database. Hence the error.I guess I’m missing something trivial. Any clues?

FSM - Send Rota Data MPM

Hi,Currently setting up our Test environment (after a successful DEV walk through) for ARP in PSO.Within ARP we’re generating the shifts, but when using FSM to post the <perform_send_rota_data_to_dse> MPM I am not seeing any file create in our Input History or Input folders. I am not getting an events leading to tell me why, and no exceptions in the server logs. The ARP is enabled in FSM and all appears good with the resources being generated via the Initialisation. Just the MPM failing to do anything than give me a false positive.<perform_send_rota_data_to_dse_result>  <response>Transaction Complete.</response></perform_send_rota_data_to_dse_result>But no RAM file created.Cheers Ady

Setup table relationships for lookup

Hi all,anyone has an idea how to setup table relationships for PART_NEED.PLACE_ID_FROM lookup in DebriefPartNeeds. The lookup should show:place.place_idplace.namelocation.locationlocation.description the filter should be:PERSON_PLACE.place_relationship like 'C_ORDER_FROM%' How to setup the connection of PERSON_PLACE to PERSON AND LOCATION? The lookup in PART_NEED.PLACE_ID_FROM should show these 2 places/locations (in the box)  This is the setup I have done.   This PERSON_PLACE and LOCATION relation maybe wrong.  :-)How to setup the correct one? The filter:  Cheers,~Juni

AUTOMATIC TRANSFER TO MOBILE

Hello everyone, I was wondering if there was a way to automatically send task/tasks to MWO Service without having to click on "Transfer to Mobile". Ex: If all tasks are assigned to a resource that has MWO app, then automatically they are transferred to mobile. Can anyone help me with this?

Request Task status.

Hi,  I am using Request Management. Upon the completion of the task from MWO my tasks are not updating the status to ‘Work Done’ they are remaining at ‘Work Started’ even though the Work Assignment status is ‘Complete’. Is this standard? What am I missing? Thanks, Chiedza

Mobile app getting crash while going to overview screen

Hi Team,We are facing below challenges in FSM mobileSuppose a tech in his mobile device has 5 jobs out of which 4 jobs he can easily navigate and work on itBut if he is going inside the 5th task is app is crashing.Whereas if I give the 5th task to any other member of his team he is able to access the task .Also for the effected tech if I install fsm mobile in any other mobile all 5 tasks are working fine.We are not able to find root cause

MWO Service Application technical documentation

I am looking for technical document on the MWO Service application.  Specifically details on how the application syncs with the local cache and where that data is stored on the workstation (Assuming windows in this case).  All the documentation I can find at the moment is on IFS Cloud and Aurena.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Client Script for Web Client - Not Updating

I was able to create a client script that updates the non_part_usage.user_def4 with the person’s phy_svc_grp_c based on the person’s place. If there is no person attached to the task, it will clear the user_def4. If there is a person attached, it will update user_def4 with the person’s place phy_svc_grp_c. Best way to understand API changes between releases or specific releases?

I’m looking for the best way to for example understand the API changes between 23R1 and 23R2.  The obvious answer is to deploy 23R2 to build place and then compare the OpenAPI spec between that and one of our other environments on 23R1.Is there a better approach or something captured that helps customers understand the potential impacts to upgrading at a technical level? Thanks,Robert

When we add signatures from the ‘DebriefReview’ screen, the signature is saved as an attachment. How can we save it to the task it was created from?

FSM Environment Cloning

Hi experts,A pretty trivial question. When we do a clone from a prod environment to a dev environment, will this only copy over the data and leave the config changes in dev (ex: Custom metadata, UI , client script changes which are not applied to prod yet).If custom metadata A (which is in dev but not in prod) has the associated db table deployed in dev db, will this db table still be available in dev after a clone from prod?

FSM 6u24 - task.note seems to always be part of the payload

Good Evening, We've observed that the task.note field is consistently included in various payloads.During unrelated (task) imports, the task.note appears in the error logs and import results.It also shows up when updates are applied to tasks (update results) and when checking mx_u for usage activity, as it is present in every XML payload  (mx_u_07). Despite confirming that neither FSM Default nor custom metadata has the task.note set to Force Select, and even after creating a custom column definition for task.note with Force Select explicitly set to "N", the issue persists. Our problem with this is that task.note often contains extensive text related to job specifications, making it a substantial addition to every payload, usage record, import log, and update payload. This likely impacts performance. Also, the length and format of task.note complicates reading our import logs and is problematic to paste into Excel due to multiple line breaks. Do you have any suggestions on how we can e

Display dropdown values via client script

Hi All,when i am trying to display drop down values via client script getting empty values in the dropdown column .I have added the script in events after data load. FSM Mobile - Microsoft Patch stops Initialisation (KB5035855)

Hi,Anyone else patched their servers recently and had KB5035855 installed?It’s been installed on our Test and Live Mobile servers, and after installation, the device fails to fully completed an initialisation. Get stuck on the image below. As you can see it says the process has ended, but the device just spins.I uninstall the KB and restart the server. The moment that happens the process completes fully. Therefore, just wondering if this is known at IFS and if others have had a similar issue too? Cheers Ady
