Hi All,I’m reaching out regarding a scenario we're encountering in IFS Apps 10 with PSO.We often have situations where engineers are unable to complete work tasks for various reasons. As per the standard process, these work assignments are marked as incomplete. Our goal is to reuse these incomplete work tasks for an engineer to perform a return trip without creating a new one.Currently, our approach involves adding a new resource demand line to generate a new allocation in PSO. However, this method creates a problem: the new allocation becomes a co-requisite of the previous one and thus cannot be scheduled by PSO.I’m looking for suggestions or best practices on how to handle this scenario more effectively, ensuring that we can schedule and manage return trips for incomplete tasks smoothly.Thank you for your assistance!Best regards,Wayne  

We’re trying to implement alerting around the service that loads work into PSO daily. To do this, we’d like to better understand what an internal ID of 0 represents. In some cases, it seems to indicate success (e.g., when creating unavailabilities), while in others, it suggests a failure (e.g., when bad data is loaded into PSO).We've noticed that PSO returns a 0 after our daily loads when a record results in a duplicated key (bad data). Are there any other reasons why a LOAD to PSO might return a 0 besides this scenario?

I developed this report on Visual Studio 2017 with FSM extension.The idea was to give to user some possibilities to generate the report.It is working fine as the picture below. After setting up the Report admin registry for this report. I getting this error for the same filter: The task_id field is setup like: What should I do to fix this issue ?

PSO v6.11 / IFS Apps 10 Upd 18 We are working to make more work get scheduled together properly and on the same resource.  Frequently, even when work tasks are on the same work order, the different work tasks get scheduled separately and on different resources.   For example, we have a single work order, with 3 work tasks.  One being the PM inspection itself, then two more work tasks that are merely fluid samples that get taken at the time of the PM.  Frequently right now, we have the fluid samples getting allocated, on different days, and the PM goes unallocated.  I have already started the process of working to make the fluid sample tasks dependent on the PM task.  This at the very least assures that the PM task gets scheduled first but does not assure that the sample tasks are scheduled at the same time or for the same resource. After researching through PSO documentation and have found the "Activity Group" section of the Scheduling Schema.  This discusses the use of "same_resource"

Hi!We are using the Integration XML Map to Update or Create a Task. However, it works well to update an existing task, the same does not occur to create a new task. Here, you can see the integration run log, where the exception message “Invalid value of 12141 for column Task Task ID FSM.” is shown.  Do you have any idea to help us solve this issue?Thanks in advance,Alexandra Pereira

If data requiring special protection is processed in a web service, this data must be individually protected by using end-to-end mechanisms at the application level (end-to-end), such as XML encryption. Since transport encryptions are already terminated on outer layers, as well as possible payload logging and "hop by hop" communication, a pure transport encryption in most cases does not offer sufficient protection for particularly confidential data.Examples of data requiring special protection are Medical data, Criminal records,  Bank details of a person, Quarterly figures before publication and  Draft contracts with high financial volume.Motivation: Due to the special need for protection, confidentiality protection is required for certain data even if they are encrypted for transport or transmitted via secure networks. Please specify product compliance as well as the corresponding method

This customer is currently using FSM 6 r22 and upgrading to r29. When booking appointments they are currently seeing offers in server time - which happens to be US Eastern time. They want to see the times default to customer time. Can I do that in Smart Client? 

Hi Experts,I have been trying to test PSO-IFS cloud scheduling and wanted to automatically create a work assignment to a resource. So far PSO workbench as well as cloud show me that a resource is allocated, but it does not neither change its status to committed in PSO work bench nor automatically creates a work assignment in cloud. Then i enable dataset to support ‘schedule dispatch service’ still no change in status.When i refer to documentations, i am not fully understood even if i enable SDS service, still a user should manually create the work assignment in cloud client ? (screen shot 1). But then again it states about ‘Commitment Rules’. (screen shot 2) and with commitment rules SDS automatically do the assignment ?Screen shot 1Screen shot 2 Can someone please explain where can i find these commitment rules ? (i tried in PSO administrator section and in cloud scheduling configurations). How can i configure SDS to work and automatically create work assignment for work tasks ?Thank

Is there any documentation on the Place Merge functionality for FSM 6 that details the scope of the data that it touches?  We need to better understand all of the data that is impacted if we were to merge Place records via Place Merge or determine if we need to take a custom/hybrid approach.Our company is currently going through a major ERP consolidation/modernization project.  All existing customer #s sourced from the old ERP system will be converted into the new ERP system which will result in brand new customer #s (there will be a reference to the old customer#) which will be integrated back down to our FSM 6 (update 25) platform.  Because of this, we will need to update all of our existing data (open Requests, some historical Request data, Contracts, Product records, customer pricing data, etc) so that they are using the new customer #s sourced by our new ERP system. Is the Place Merge an appropriate process to perform this mass conversion of 130k+ PLACE records?  We have configured ADHOC Reports and change the App Parameter ADHOC_ROW_LIMIT to 20000, when we extract one report (AUDIT_REPORT), the number of rows is limited to 10K.Even we tried to set the App Parameter MAX_ROWS to 20 but no error, nothing changes in the report. Is it possible to extract more than 10K of rows at ADHOC Reports?If yes, then how to set the limit please suggestThanks In Advance

Hi Team,  We have one Workorder and under that Workorder we have 3 different tasks and the Workorder status is waiting Internal and status change reason is ‘Dispatcher Action Required’ .So, in this condition associated tasks(Linked tasks) will be visible in PSO or not ? 

I need to see the capacity for all the engineers in the system. I explored the resource availability page and I can see that I can get the capacity for individual engineers. Is there a page from where I can get the capacity/ availability for all the engineers in one go in IFS cloud?

In the previous version of IFS cloud (23R1 for sure), there was the possibility to add a picture to resource icon on dispatch console, under the person page. I can see only the fist letter of name and surname. (T0)Do you have any suggestions?  

Hi, For some resources I have a shift build up like this: (es: 27 in pic)1. 00:00 - 07:00    Manual only2. 07:00 - 15:30    3. 15:30 - 00:00    Manual onlyI have a situation like this.1 task: 3 demand linesWhen I click on Assign from IFS Cloud or Commit from PSO: As you can see: the link is broken, but also it doesn’t respect the allocation start came from IFS CLOUD.After a while, also the Ass n=3 in Cloud will be update with the allocation start came from PSO: 00:17 How can the commit be done properly? (All tasks are committed at the same time, according to the PSO suggestion). Thanks!

How do we configure server side printing of reports in a stock environment?  We have a Domain user, The network Printer is connected to the Server running the FSM application

Hi Team,I’m using the Attachment functionality in mobile to capture attachments for ESCALATION table. From the IN_CORRECTIVE _MAINT designer screen by using the Attachment icon of damage photograph field(user_def13), i am saving the data.After choosing an attachment and while the record is saved, the damage photo.user_def13 field stores a negative integer value such as -1, -2, etc., in the DB instead of the Attachment ID. Is there any step to be configured to capture the Attachment ID apart from the above? while exporting the resources data, it is getting downloaded in arp format(screenshot below) and when we are opening this arp file, it is not showing in readable form in notepad. Please let me know how to view the data inside the downloaded resource arp file in readable form. PSO version 6.11.0.11 

 Hi, I’m trying to assign manually a suggestion from PSO. But few second later:The only way to remain in the assigned state is to ‘accept’ the task immediately.This is very weird, it should not work that way.Can anyone help me find a way to solve this problem?
