Hello,I want to take a document connected to a screen together with the pdf report output. What I want is available for the Work Instruction Report. However, I want to do this for the Shop Order Report shown in the image I added. I want to do this by creating a new custom menu and linking the pdf report to this menu. Can you help me with how to do this? Is it possible to do this without development?

Hello,I’m struggling to get macros working in our customer’s 23R2 environment for a session I have with them very soon.  I copied the macro and blocks from our GCS Demo Database, which is 24R1.  I used the ones whose names begin with IFS_ and where the write used ALL CAPS.When I first ran my test using CHECKOUT, nothing happened.  I’ve since gone back and am adding msgboxs to glean what information I can about what subroutine is being run at a particular momentIn the IFS_01_02_GENERAL_GET_DATA block, we have the code and I’ve added the msgbox.ifs_check_out_path = clientscriptvalues.item("check_out_path").valueIf ifs_check_out_path = "" then' use the check_out_path client script value insteadifs_check_out_path = scriptvalues.item("local_path").valueend If MsgBox "We've just fetched the checkout path ["&ifs_check_out_path&"] is it blank?"  When I run, the message box reads: 

I’m trying to get the macros found in the 24R1 GCS demo data and in our customer’s database and have run into a brick wall.  I’m hoping someone can help me knock it down.The error,MSGBOX "APPLICATION NOT INSTALLED TO ACCESS DOCUMENT"Is in the macro block named General_Open in the subroutinePUBLIC FUNCTION IFS_EXEC(O_APP, OPT, F).  This is the entry point for the macro.I’m at a loss. Patrick

we have a customer that had this question logged by one of their users in the Production team, please would you be able to advise if there would be any issues with us allowing this?“Would there be any impact on IFS if we store build packs as documents? These are currently stored on Notes so we need an alternate storage location and keeping on IFS would mirror processes for other part related documents. These are .zip files, currently on notes we have 388 packs saved, total size 4866 MB. This covers a 9 year period so we wouldn't be looking to transfer all of these, but the above numbers are representative of how they would accumulate over time.”Thank you,Sanjith

Hello Experts,I am trying to transfer documents from manually created Incoming dispatch advice to receipt.I tried using register arrivals and it works but its not working for the incoming dispatch advice window.I have set up the object connection transformation but could not map the correct Source LU Key and Target LU key,  When I attached a documents for the header or line level from the manually created incoming dispatch advice window it will not transfer to Receipt.Did any of the members successfully set this up and got to work?Highly appreciate your help on this. Thanks,Chamath

I have completed all system requirements but the document is not delivered to the user, what should I do?According to the help documentation, the following installation has been completed.The user ID you log in with must be linked to a person in the Contacts window. The people to be added to the document distribution list must be registered in the Contacts window. You must have selected one or more documents before using the menu option for document distribution. If you are using e-mail notification as the distribution method, the relevant e-mail address(es) must be registered in the Contact/Contact Method tab.

Hello, I have problem with retrieving SQL command in IFS cloud. In Oracle db this SQL command in picture2 is working but in IFS in some cases is working but in some not. I want to put together values in columns “Superior Part No” and “Popis polo” in column “Nazov”. Where is no Superior No, there would be only “Popis polo” after that should be in column “Nazov” “32 PBA ELA” after that in pic3 is working, but when is in “Superior Part No” value 322 than there is in “Nazov” column 309 and not 322.  Thank you for your advices

If you attach a document to (for eg) a work order you have the option to download the same clicking on a small download icon.If you attach a media item there seem to be no option to directly download the media file. Is this the expected behaivor or is this controlled by a permission or something similar?

Can the IFS Document Management System (DMS) be configured to securely share documents with external users via public links or a portal without requiring an IFS account? We would like to exchange stored documents in DMS to our suppliers. IFS is in cloud.

When I click to open a document from the attachments, I get the information message "application server DOCUMENT_TICKET_TEMP_PATH: //IFSPRODIFSDoc/\.No Document file operation cannot be performed" and I cannot open the file.

Hello, I would ask you a questions about implementing SQL Select Statement into Custom Attribute. My task was to find list of all items, which have no parent item, respectively which do not enter anywhere. My SQL Select Statememt is working in Oracle db, but when I add this query into Custom Attribute Type, it will display me this error. I dont know what parameters should I input to the Arguments field.  Thank you for your help. 

Hello,I’m encountering an issue where some users can view attachments without any problems, while others don’t even see the “eye icon” as an option. I’ve been investigating the cause but haven’t had any success so far. Could this be related to a missing projection, or might there be another issue at play? This is an example of the eye icon appearing.This is an example of the eye icon not appearing.

Hi Community,I am trying to set up the Office Add-In feature in IFS Document Management. I managed to Install and set it up. But I am facing an issue here.I have set up my setting as below.  In here I am using below email and I am trying to attach only the attachments. Note that I have a signature and it contains few images. When I try only to add the attachments, Create document from Microsoft office opens up with 7 attached files. I think its picking the images from the mail body as well.  Is there anything that I can do to avoid this. Ev

I am trying to create a Report Rule with an Action to Check In To Document Management.  When I print the document, I can get the system to create a Document based on the Document Class.  I need to also connect to an LU.  The LU is a Document Folder.  If my Document Folder name is Supplier, how would I enter the information in the Connected LU field?The Documentation has the following for Connected LU:<u>ConnectedLU / KeyRef:</u> You can specify if the generated report should be attached to an application form as an attachment.
