I am curious if IFS has any demos or documentation that could be sent to me that covers the basic purpose and function of the Document Management module in Cloud. If not, does IFS record their webinars? If so, can they be sent out to customers? Specifically I'd like to be able to view the IFS Apps 10 - IFS Document Management Overview & Demo from July 9, 2020, as I'm sure it would still be largely applicable for Cloud.

@Mhughes Are you referring to this video from https://www.gotostage.com/channel/ifs-apps-webcasts?

Hi,

On docs.ifs.com you will find all the documentation that we have, both technical (how to install, configure and develop for IFS Cloud) and functional (processes, end-user functionality...)

Here's a direct link to the 24R2 version:

https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/24r2/

1. Once you open that, you will see a navigator. Expand Cross Application Processes.
2. Click Create and Maintain Document, which is one of the two main processes in IFS Document Management.
3. You will see a process model that will give you a high level idea of how to create and maintain your own documentation in IFS Cloud.
4. Click around, and start with the documents behind the exclamation marks at the top. Once you follow the process and get down to the lower level activity/process diagrams/models, and their textual descriptions, things get quite detailed.
5. The other main process is called Search for and Use Document Management and is for readers/viewers of documents. That's what most users do, and many of them just see the Attachments / Documents part of IFS Document Management (available in all screens where it has been enabled).

Demos, videos, webinars, presentations is of course more easily digestible, but at the same time, what I'm pointing you to above is The Truth, all the answers should be in there.

Good luck!
