Hello everyone,I have a tricky problem for you.As part of a go live project with IFS APP10, we migrated the financial data, including the ledgers. We went through external assistant and everything went smoothly.Later, the finance team realised that for many rows the E code was the wrong one. So we modified the E code using Excel Add-in with the GEN_LED_VOUCHER_ROW_UNION_QRY view. This worked well, so the E code has been modified. In the view GL Voucher Rows Analysis, the CODE E is good. All the CODE E are ‘EXTERNE’ But when we look at the view GL Balance Analysis different results from 'EXTERNE' still exist. When We look at the SQL Query Tool :It is therefore clear that the 'accounting balance' view has not been updated. This table is used to summarise the balance. The balance has therefore not been updated. So I tried to recreate an excel add in to update the values using the ‘ACCOUNTING_BALANCE’ view tu update the balance. But when I want to execute the excel, an error message occurs :

IFS 22R1We came across one issue in Data Migration Manager where we found circular reference of tables while validating Basic Data and unable to validate the Basic DataCOMPANY_FINANCE being used as reference table for few other basic Data target tables. While validating COMPANY_FINANCE data, it is referring to CURRENCY_TYPE which also requires validation. On validating CURRENCY_TYPE, it is referring to COMPANY_FINANCE and also CURRENCY_CODE.CURRENCY_CODE also referring to COMPANY_FINANCE, seems like Circular reference and unbale validate basic Data for these target tables.Any suggestion how we should be resolving this issuescreen shot attached for referenceThanks,

Hi All, From where can I find IFS Cloud 22R1 Template Project file for Data Migration Manager? I am new to Data Migration Manager and my idea is to create a Project Template and load a pre-built Template file copied into DM server location , drill down into details of the project and understand how it is set up instead of creating a Data Migration Project from scratch.
Hi Experts,Search , validate and execute functions are not working in below migration job. Appreciate it if any one could help to resolve this issue. Best regards,Theja
Hi - I can create 2 data migration jobs to create a Purchase Order. - One to create the header and one to create the lines. I am looking to create a single Migrate Source Data DM Job to create header and lines based on an imported table of data. So the stage 1 imported Data would be simplified as something like.. Supplier Part No Qty Stage 2 to Create a PO for the distinct list of Suppliers and then create the attached lines Anyone think this is possible without custom code? Thanks for looking..
I am looking for recommendations on how best to manage the migration of documents (300gb+) from an Apps9 database to Cloud. Primary concern is the ‘what to avoid’ type scenarios and also how to monitor during the migration process that the process did not stop or error out and, if it did, what to do next.
Hi everyone,I'm trying to migrate the view "PART_SERIAL_CATALOG" which holds the history data for the inventory parts in stock. My approach was to first create a temporary table with a .csv file and then migrate the source data. the second step isn't working, I'm getting the error: "ORA-20132: PartSerialCatalog.NOTHANDLED2: Operation "" is not allowed for Part Serial Catalog objects in state "". There's no problem migrating the inventory parts in stock, but they can't be used if the Part Serial Catalog is not available. Can anyone help me with this error?I'm grateful for any help, thanks in advance!Kind regards.Joshua ps: here you can find a Screenshot of the File Mapping for the migrate source data Migration Job
Hi All,“Copy Part” screen seems to only allow us to copy one part at a time, is there a way to bulk copy this? They can’t use migration jobs.Does anyone have scripts handy or a tweak for this? I rather not write it from scratch as there is very limited time for this.
Hi All,I am trying to do export of IFS database from oracle source server to destination server using oracle user ‘SYSTEM’. I see the export import completed fine. But while starting the application the background_jobs is not running and looks like it is trying to run these jobs with ‘SYSTEM’ user which was used for importing the database. I am getting below error can you please suggest anyone faced this? do I need to impersonate ‘SYSTEM’ user? If yes how can I do it these are all background jobs triggered by application during configuration automatically. Below is the error I am getting. Fnd_Session_Util_API.Impersonate_Fnd_User_ Could not impersonate Foundation User .========================================== Could not impersonate Foundation User .========================================== Fnd_Session_Util_API.Reset_Fnd_User_ ========================================== Foundation User is not reset. I need to update update a custom field in Inventory_part_cfv at the same time as creating the Inventory part. Under method list, I specified Inventory_part_cfp.CF_New__ and it's of type Migrate Source data that fetches information from an IC table.I am assuming that's not enough because it doesn't update it and throws an error stating ROWKEY cannot be null. What other steps are needed?
