Data Migration

Dear Community, @Jens (you're a DMM guru I've been told ;))When using in Cloud 22R1 the Data Migration Manager, deploying the object Suppliers [SUPPLIER_GENERAL_INFO], we face an error when the output container is deployed, during the deployment: "Field [ON_NEW] is mandatory for Deploy Definition Attributes and requires a value.”In the target table definition this field ON_NEW is not available. Has anyone seen this error before and has a solution to fix it? At the moment we can't deploy the data to the target environment.  

After making a few updates in the excel field for the add-in, I validate and get the Object does not exist message. I am using the correct search function to pull in the data and it has worked in the past. Will someone please help me understand what went wrong and how to fix this?

Hi, From where I can find the IFS Cloud 23R1: Data Migration Manager Template Project file?I have found a community post for 22R1 and a post related to an 23R1 Internal file only.When the releases are made,  is there a public URL where these templates are made available to  downloaded from?Thank you

I have a customer who is implementing IFS Cloud 23R1.  Their question: Is there a list of all possible data objects along with their dependencies? For example:  To migrate Shop Orders into IFS, you must first have migrated Inventory Part, Routing, Product Structure, Work Guideline data objects from your source system(s) into IFS.

Has anyone done that already?If possible, how do we do that? How do we handle sequence numbers in DMM? I am using the Data migration tool in Apps9 to update an existing custom field. This field is indexed and coming up with the error:- Execution No 0Error creating index CREATE  INDEX IC_SM_SALES_PART_PP_REF_IX1 ON IC_SM_SALES_PART_PP_REF_TAB() - ORA-00936: missing expressionDo I need to set up the DM job in a certain way?

Any idea why ifs cloud does not allow function_result@5 in the column name?Column name is a drop list with all the columns from the source mapping tab. 

​Hello everyone,I have a tricky problem for you.As part of a go live project with IFS APP10, we migrated the financial data, including the ledgers. We went through external assistant and everything went smoothly.Later, the finance team realised that for many rows the E code was the wrong one. So we modified the E code using Excel Add-in with the GEN_LED_VOUCHER_ROW_UNION_QRY view.This worked well, so the E code has been modified. In the view GL Voucher Rows Analysis, the CODE E is good. All the CODE E are ‘EXTERNE’ But when we look at the view GL Balance Analysis different results from 'EXTERNE' still exist.  When We look at the SQL Query Tool :It is therefore clear that the 'accounting balance' view has not been updated.This table is used to summarise the balance. IFS 22R1We came across one issue in Data Migration Manager where we found circular reference of tables while validating Basic Data and unable to validate the Basic DataCOMPANY_FINANCE being used as reference table for few other basic Data target tables. While validating COMPANY_FINANCE data, it is referring to CURRENCY_TYPE which also requires validation.On validating CURRENCY_TYPE, it is referring to COMPANY_FINANCE and also CURRENCY_CODE.CURRENCY_CODE also referring to COMPANY_FINANCE, seems like Circular reference and unbale validate basic Data for these target tables.Any suggestion how we should be resolving this issuescreen shot attached for referenceThanks,

Hi Team,I am trying to upgrade our IFS 7.5 SP6 oracle DB from 11.2.0.3 to 19c. But I am not sure if it is supported. Hi All, From where can I find IFS Cloud 22R1 Template Project file for Data Migration Manager?  I am new to Data Migration Manager and my idea is to create a Project Template and load a pre-built Template file copied into DM server location , drill down into details of the project and understand how it is set up instead of creating a Data Migration Project from scratch.
