Data Migration

 When I try to clone CST to AST it is not showing the target version and no ability to enter it. Any ideas what the issue could be? It works for all other scenarios. 

When migrating project, I want to make use of the Project ID Generation Rules. I leave the project ID in the migrate source job blank, category 1 is filled, Generation rules have been set up for given category 1. All other values are catch all.Still nothing happens when running the migration. So I was wondering which API to call to set the api in the defaul value of the project id, so it would generate the id when migration job runs.Anyone an idea which api to call? I would prefer to know the parameters as well, although less important for now.BTW: rule works perfect when entering a project via the project definition form

My Basic Data Container in Data Migration Manager is saying that these 5 records for countries are in a “Not Deployed” Deploy Status state…  Yet, if I go to the Deployment Container for the same Target Table (ISO_COUNTRY) my 5 rows are in either Deployed With Commit or Deployed state. Why is the discrepancy between the Basic Data Container and Deployment Container Statuses? is this a bug in the User Interface?

Hi All,I created a Database Link in DEV (Build Place) to link to CFG environment using an end user in CFG.I can see a valid Database Link in DEV.However I cannot see created DB link in the application (DEV environment).Location Solution Manager > Data Management > Data Migration Manager > Project Basic Data Setup/Connected environments tab/Database Link name.Any idea as to why I cannot see the DB link from the application

Hi,In Apps 9 whilst using Data Migration Jobs, users were able to delete records after loading data from spreadsheet and before migrating the records into IFS.However, in IFS Cloud (23.1.11) there seems to be no option to delete records like the ones highlighted below:Users need this ability to review and delete records before migrating them into IFS.Is this a case of missing functionality in Cloud that will be added in future updates?

 I am creating an Excel Migration job that will set hundreds of Requisition Authorisation Rules to ‘Planned’.This is very much like the topic I raised and got a very good answer that worked well: Excel Migration - Delete User Sites | IFS Community. On this occasion the same principles are not working for me.Here is the job...For the Action on Seq 10 I have toggled InLoop and NoExecution.For Seq 20, I set these attributes…My source mapping looks like this - I allowed the default Source Columns and assume I don’t need to do anything with the first 4 Method columns…Having tried many variations, the latest result is set to null upon execution…In the debug Trace, I see this error…It looks like it is trying to grab every column and insert the values into the Attr_ variable.I’m out of ideas now

Trying to use an External File to migrate a Trial Balance (GL Transactions) from the legacy system to the new Cloud IFS solution.  File conforms to the STDVOU template with semi-colon separated values all matching the individual fields.  We have several different IFS Cloud environments at the moment (since we are in Implementation Phase), but none of them accepts an STDVOU type file and fails with the following Oracle error message:ORA-20115: ExtLoadIdStorage.The "Ext Load Id Storage" has already been removed by another user.Anyone got any ideas?…  we have already been successful in loading External Files using different Templates (ExtFAObjectImport for example), so doesn’t seem to be a generic issue with the environment as such...

In Apps10 client, when entering decimal values, they are being recorded as comma-separated.For example, I enter 2.5, but it appears as 2,5 and is saved to the database that way. How can this be corrected?

Hi community, our customer uses Excel add-in for creating and updating parts in different views. We are trying to create a new job including SUPP_BLK_PART view but there it stops and we can´t run the job in excel. If we remove the view it works. We have also tried and add other vires such as ASSORTMENT_NODE and SELF_SERV_PROC_CATALOG without issues but SUPP_BLK_PART cannot be handled. Have anyone any experience in this? BREmma

Trying to create a flat file from a view using Migration Job CREATE_OUTPUT_FILE in 21R1.  No output is being generated and it is sitting at Error but no error message is displayed.

HiI am trying to create an Excel Migration Job that will delete User’s Sites. I would like to use the method USER_ALLOWED_SITE_API.Remove_User_Allowed_Site. It requires only COMPANY and USERID and removes all Sites associated with the given COMPANY for the given USERID. I would like it in Excel so that we can load the specific Users and Companies we need to target.If I run this PL/SQL, it completes successfully…beginUSER_ALLOWED_SITE_API.Remove_User_Allowed_Site('USERID','COMPANY');end;I have tried various configs in the Excel Migration job and it either errors, says it has processed it (but hasn’t) or churns for a while and returns a blank.Any pointers?

Hi Community,Is it possible to delete/remove records using an excel migration job? I’m trying to delete/remove users for WaDaCo processes but unfortunately i cannot solve it.. I have added ‘DATA_CAPT_CONF_VALID_USER_API.Remove__’ in the Method List. An example could be to delete/remove all users for our scanner ID6: The migration job has the current setup:   I’ve also tried different setups. Example in the method lists to use ‘%’ in Column value and DUMMY in Column Name.
