Migration Job for a Customer Order that contains more than 100 lines

Hello everyone,I have met one tough problem from time to time. I often need to upload Customers’ Purchase Order into IFS 10. Most formats of theses POs are PDF, and they contain less than 20 lines, in this case, I would upload them into IFS manually. But there are some POs in Excel format and contain more than 100 lines (we can see Sales Part Number, Quantity, Unit Price with Currency, Wanted Delivery Date, etc. In short, all the key information is provided) It may take me more than one hour to deal with it if I choose to set up it in IFS and this is what I did for a several times before. Time-consuming job!!! So, does anyone here know how to do migration job for upload one PO of Excel format containing more than 100 lines one time? Also, does anyone here know how to create a lot of sales parts (usually more than 50) one time? All the sales parts belong to the same product family. RestApi Outbound Call with http PATCH method does not work

Issue I'm using Plsql_Rest_Sender_API.Call_Rest_Endpoint_Json to call rest API service. It works fine for POST and GET, but it does not work for PATCH. I'm getting following error message:ExecutionException from Sender thread Caused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Exception while sending data Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Patch error: 405 (Method Not Allowed)The same PATCH call works fine from Postman, so there is no issue on receiver side.Product Version: 22R2SU8 Resolution Restarting the ifsapp-connect container will the solve the initial issue. Then you might see the below error,ExecutionException from Sender threadCaused by: ifs.fnd.connect.senders.ConnectSender$TemporaryFailureException: Exception while sending dataCaused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Patch error: 201 (Created)This happens because by default IFS Connect Rest Sender doesn’t accept HTTP Code 201 as a success response. REST Sender by default accept only HTTP Code 2

Dear IFS Community;Does anyone know how to import field Phone for a Lead with a Migration Job?I don’t understand why this field is not available in the File Mapping tab for BUSINESS_LEAD view (same issue with Mobile or Email).I try to add manually a field named "PHONE", no error on the execution but it’s not working. Excel Migration Job - Modification Issue

I’ve created an Excel migration job to modify values on a Sales Price List, but it seems that each time that I execute the job, a new record is created instead of updating the record that already exists. IFS Cloud Data Migration for external systems

Hi,We are looking into different options for migrating data from external systems into IFS Cloud. It is my understanding that the recommended approach is to use the Data Migration Manager component to import data into IFS Cloud via flat file.We are expecting to import a huge number of records into IFS and we are looking for an alternative to flat file import method due to performance impact. Are there any other options for migration? (e.g. external database connection) If not, are there plans on improving this feature in the near future?Any insights will help. Thanks!

Migration Job for Functional Object Testpoints and Parameters

Hi,I am trying to run a migration job to import a large number of test points and parameters on functional objects. I am experiencing two issues:1. Testpoints: for some reason I cannot migrate into the custom fields I have set up on Testpoints (EQUIPMENT_OBJECT_TEST_PNT). Any idea’s why the migration job will not let me migrate into my persistent custom fields?2. Parameters: When I run the second method of my migration job (EQUIP_OBJ_PARAM), it updates the Parameter for the Default testpoint not my newly created Testpoint. Anyone had a similar issue or has a solution? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,Harry

Restrict Auto Generation ID in case value available in Legacy Data

Hi All,We are Migrating Employee Records using DMM. As per requirement we would need Person ID to be generated automatically if person id in legacy data is blank, in case if any person id provided in legacy record, then DMM shouldn’t generate the ID. We have enabled Auto Generation feature for Person ID column in PERSON_INFO target table. It is working fine where Person ID is blank in legacy records, but it do generate ID for records where Person ID is not blank. Any feature available to restrict generating the ID incase legacy record have any value passedThanks,Nishith

22R2 FNDMIG Migration of Procurement Clause Connection Rules

Hello, We’re getting errors when trying to migrate the Procurement Clause Connection Rules in 22R2, using FNDMIG. We’re getting errors not wanting a value for Connection ID, but when left null, we’re getting an ORA:00936 missing expression error. Data inputs without error manually. Has anyone come across or found a fix/work-around for this? Any help is very much appreciated!

App9 UPD11 - Data Archiving performance problems - doing it parallel?

The customer has lots of data in some tables - mostly quality assurance related, traceability - and keeps only last 3 months of data in the main tables.They have already setup archiving which works okay, except it started to get too slow mainly because it takes the rows in the head table one by one.As it does not put a big load on the storage we tried find some option to do it parallel, meaning several archiving jobs (orders) could run for these tables with different filters at the same time.But we found that the jobs are executed one after another:Is there a way to make them run parallel?

Data Migration SYNCDETAILS Rule

Has anyone successfully used the SYNCDETAILS Rule in a Migration Job? I made the header fields in my file the same what shows in to “Column Name” in File Mapping but when I unpack the file I get Column “xxxx” does not exist. I am using a csv with double quotes as the Column Embrace and would expect this to apply to the headings as well.
