REST Call Task Request Body Size Limitation

Hello, We are working on an integration with one of our business partners using the BPA workflows offered by IFS Cloud (We are on 23R1). All the logic is in place and is working as intended, but the BPA fails for “large” datasets. We are using the REST Call Task to send a web request to our partner’s API. The request body/payload cannot be stored as a string because when there are many items, the requestBody would quickly exceed the 2000 character limit to be stored in the Oracle database as a string. If it were to be stored as a string, we would receive a persistence layer exception at the end of the workflow.Instead, we are storing it in a process variable called ‘requestBody’ as an object.The request body field of the REST Call Task requires a string, so we must convert the JSON object to a string using Camunda Spin: JSON(requestBody).toString() in the task.This works perfectly for “small“ payloads. Custom Tab with Custom Field - Cloud

I’m trying to display the Commission Receiver data from the Customer record on the Account record. The customer and account are the same DBs, just displayed on different pages for different purposes. I won’t list everything I have tried because none of them worked.One of my requirements is that the commission receiver and product code be displayed on the Account page. The Product Code is a custom field.Known Limitations - Technical Documentation For IFS Cloud - According to this document, custom fields are not supported.Is this something that is even possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Error While Printing on Zebra printer (.rpl) From the IFS Cloud

When I try to print the .rpl (barcode/label) through Zebra printer following error message appear in the IFS PrintAgent Monitor. Any missing configuration for causing the issue. Workflow Not Triggering during background job/interface

I have an event on customer order creation that calls a workflow. This is NOT setup as a projection action, but an actual event. It works fine when I just go to the customer order screen, hit new, and save. However, if the order is created via a background job or created via an interface like external customer order with auto approval, the workflow never fires. I was wondering if I need to grant the workflow to a permission set or something. Anyone run into this?

I then would like to RMB and write some code to email the required info. Sums of fields using Workflows

Is it possible to use sums on fields in workflows? Here’s the SQL query for what I am trying to get using workflows:select sum(quantity) ,activity_seqfrom SCH_OF_WORK_EST_RES_SUMwhere project_id = <<project id here>>and resource_type_db = 'PROJECT_RESOURCES'group by activity_seq So I would like to get the sum of the PROJECT_RESOURCES values for each particular activity sequence and then insert this value at the activity level to a certain field. Trouble is, I don’t know how to get the sum using workflows. I’m sure it’s somewhere in the documentation or examples, but I’m not sure where. This is the entityset I’m pulling the values from currently: ${Reference_SchOfWorkEstimateResourceSummary_Set[0].ActivitySeq}$[Reference_SchOfWorkEstimateResourceSummary_Set[0].HoursQuantity}

BPA Projection Workflow to replace a value

I am trying to create a before workflow that will change the MchCode value entered by the user to something else. At first, I was getting a recursion error by calling the FunctionalObjectHandling projection for the create. That obviously didn’t work. Does anyone know how to have the workflow just change the variable on the way to the original projection call? I tried just using a workflow with a script component to make the change and I can see the change in the observation but that isn’t actually what is saved. We are in Cloud 23r1.

SFTP Knownhost File issue

Calling workflow asynchronously

Hello, I’ve been attempting to set up an asynchronous workflow to help with a mixed payment automation we are currently working on. The only issue is that IFS has minimal documentation regarding asynchronous workflows and how to properly set them up. When a workflow is scheduled as Asynchronous, and I check the currently running workflows, this workflow does not appear, but when running the same workflow scheduled as ‘after’ this runs just fine.Does anyone have any examples? Is there additional setup regarding the ‘Asynchronous before/after’ functionality that is native to Camunda? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Bryan

No pdf report returned from crystal web service. The table could not be found. IFS APPS10

Hi allIFS Apps10 UPD15We have recently updated our Delivery Note Crystal report and added some additional views to pull in some extra data we require. The report runs ok locally in Crystal Reports running as the IFSAPP user, but fails when run though IFS with error: No pdf report returned from crystal web serviceI have turned Crystal logging on which shows error: ‘The table could not be found’. Detailed screenshot below.From the log it seems to show successfully getting access to a number of views but then hits a problem with CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINE_CFV. The view definitely exists and I don’t think this is a permissions issue as they look the same across other views the log seems to show as being ok, but I don’t know where to go now. Searching the forum hasn’t turned up anything similarDoes anybody have any suggestions as to what the problem is?Thanks in advanceChris

Why do i get a "resource not found" message after executing a MCPR workflow?

Hi allContext We created a workflow in context of MCPR. We attempt to trigger the event when an employee gets linked to a Customer Company for MCPR. The underlining should afterwards update to the adjusted CompanyId, EmpNo & EmpCatName The workflow exists of the following parts:1 READ to get the empcategory from the original employee 1 script taskt to (store it as a variable)1 READ to read the employee you want to change(1 script task for etag compatibility) 1 PATCH to update the employee with the category ISSUE: When filling the time registration of the MCPR linked employee, we receive the error “resource not found”. We started troubleshooting to see if the error comes from the workflow itself. On first look, that was not the issue. On second look, when reading through the log window, we define a bpa automisation error as u can see on the log window below How to fix this error? Warm regards

About a year ago I started working on setting up a new interface for a customer. The interface was with a pretty well-known company with a reputation for data integrity in its API. As we got started, we learned that this integration was going to require OAuth 2.0 for Authentication as well as the use of SSL with security certificates. In addition, this interface also required Mutual SSL. IFS10 TouchApps Account Manager - could not establish secured connection error

Hello,We are trying to test IFS10 Mobile Applications on IFS-TEST environment. I have installed TouchApps Server according to documents. I can access customer portal screen without any certificate problem over laptop.I installed same certificates to android phone with root ca certificate but IFS10 Account Manager is giving an error like that.“Could not establish a secured connection with the Identity Provider”I tried to access TouchApps server over the phones browser. It is showing NET:ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID error, but i can ignore it.I am stuck at this point of installization. Do you have any suggestion?

Selecting default value of LOV based on other field

Hi, i have implemented a lov field in Project definition page wich contain the addresses of all customers and i’ve managed to successfully filter based on the customer that is currently selected but part of my requirement is to also populate that field with the address for that customer that was selected in bussiness opportunity, i have also created a field that references that address and im getting the address id succesfully but how do i use that ID to set the default value for the field?Currently the project created has the field ad the end of this group emptyand we want it to be this way, with the address that is comming from bussiness oportunity

We are currently calling IFS REST API CustomerOrderHandling.svc/CustomerOrderSet from our external tool to create customer order.The Customer Order Set POST method allow to creat one single order, is there a way to pass multiple order information in the same call? like an array of orders to create.
