In the report designer tool I am trying to trouble shoot an issue with my layout. To do so I normally retrieve a current version from Report Archive and note the Result Key. In the tool, I open the correct layout and use the Online Preview option to view that same Result Key so I can see changes to the same report output. However, in some layouts, I’m not able to preview with current result keys. Instead what is available in the preview are documents that are several months old. Any ideas how to correct this? I’ve only seen this in 1 layout, not in several other layouts I’ve been editing and reviewing. 

Dear Community, I have successfully configured Microsoft Entra ID as a Brokered Identity Provider following the official IFS guide: https://docs.ifs.com/techdocs/24r2/030_administration/010_security/040_iam_settings/041_external_identity_providers/021_Configuring_Azure/ Everything works fine, but only with our internal website. For external access (Cloudflare+reverse proxy), I added an additional parameter to the ifscloud-values.yaml configuration file, namely secondarySystemUrl. External access works, but only for manual authorization (entering login manually). For external access, I also want to use Microsoft Entra ID as an identity broker. On the MS Entra side, I added an additional external redirect URI and planned to add an additional identity provider on the application side as well, but unfortunately, the application only generates redirect URIs for the internal site. Hi,Is it possible to colour code the time blocks in time registration depending on the what type of work is being performed?I.e. we might want to highlight training below as yellow, and all over work would be green. As an example.  

Hi,Is anyone using a 128 barcode font with Crystal Reports for IFS Cloud?We installed a demo download IDAutomation font and it works fine from a PC with the Crystal Report designer but doesn’t appear to work in the PDFs produced from IFS when installed on the Crystal Report server.  We found a reference to the need for a fully licensed version on the IDAutomation support pages, but we also found a reference on the SAP support pages which said that “Custom Licensed Fonts of this type or any licensed font are not Embedded into the PDF doc due to licensing issues.This is by design.”We know the longer term advice is to move away from Crystal Reports but in the short term we’d like to confirm whether a licensed font will work.Any feedback much appreciated!

Hi I am in a process of validating data.We have migrated the legacy customer contact data to IFS but when I try to add a communication method for a contact person I am getting this error message. Seems this error occur only for the migrated data customer contacts.If I create a new contact I can enter the communication methods. Any tips to mitigate this issue? Thanks,Chamath

Hello, I would ask you a question, it is possible to add Custom Field, or Custom Object to the entity “InventoryPartsAvailabilityPlanning”? Because this entity doesnt exist yet and when I will create, in label for inputing entity name is letter limit 30 and this entity has more than 30 letters, it is possible to add in this entity some columns?  Thank you

I am using the ReceiveEinvoiceService.svc to create External Supplier Invoices.  My desire is to send all the necessary information (Header, Lines, Taxes, Charges, Purchase Orders) to IFS so that a Posting Proposal / Manual Supplier Invoice can be generated.   Sadly, the endpoints at the ReceiveEinvoiceService.svc only supports sending a limited properties.  I have to call the ExternalSupplierInvoiceTaxInformationHandling.svc manually in order to configure the individual Tax Codes on the External Supplier Invoice.  Additionally, I have to call ExternalSupplierInvoiceLineInformationHandling.svc to update the Lines with the Purchase Part Description, whether it is a Charge Line or not, and the total tax from the tax detail.Once I am done configuring the External Supplier Invoice, I have to call the ExternalSupplierInvoicesHandling.svc to check and create endpoints in order for the Posting Proposal / Manual Supplier Invoice to be generated.My code / flow works fine

Hi,We run Apps 10 UPD25.Most users have Windows 11 Pro 24H2 installed. This works fine.Now some users upgraded their workstations to Windows 11 Pro 25H1. After this the interaction between  IEE client and Windows file explorer makes the IEE client crash.Event viewer shows that the crash is casued by: msvcp140.dll.It seems as Windows 11 25H1 has made some changes causing this problem.Does anyone experience same problems and eventually have a solution?

We’ve identified an issue this morning affecting import/export actions in IFS, such as downloading document attachments from purchase orders. When users attempt to save a file to their local machine, the IFS client crashes and closes. We’ve tested this across multiple user devices, and the behaviour is consistent.Everything was functioning normally before the weekend, but as of this morning the feature is failing entirely in both our production and development environments.As an additional check, I tested the same actions directly on the server/VM hosting our middleware instance, and import/export works correctly there. This makes me suspect the issue may be related to something on the local Windows machines, possibly a recent update.Our application is accessed through an App Gateway, but this has been in place for some time without any issues, so it seems unlikely to be the cause.Has anyone else seen this?

In IFS Report Designer, If you are trying to add a logo into report, there is another specific way to do that. Here I’m going to explain how to add any static image into report. But you also can use this method to add logo as well.Steps: * Note : From now I will use ‘img’ as the image file nameFirst you need to create Media Item on application. - Navigate to the Media Item Window and create new, fill all the mandatory fields then save. - You created a new media item, now you need to upload an image into this media item. Also image should be in JPG, JPEG or PNG format (img.png / img.jpeg / img.jpeg).        --Browse(01) and select appropriate image, then save(02).  

Have succesfully cloned an instance to a new server.Reconfigure with creating self signed certificate work fine.Reconfiguring with my real certificate failes with errors below.Have tried reconfiguring both with NO_PROXY and SSL_PASSTHROUGH. How can I get around this problem?  (instance_configuration.log)        Reported error is: The following error occurred while executing this line:        ...\repository\server\install_fndmws.xml:316: Failed to reconfigure middleware server. Hi,The ‘Report Format and Output’ dialog after clicking the RMB option ‘Print Order Confirmation’ in a customer order is working fine in apps10.But in apps 7.5 this does not appear, I was wondering if this was not implemented in apps 7.5 or is there way to enable this option?Thank you in advance! 

According to the deprecation log here:  Crystal Reports integration is planned to be removed entirely from IFS Cloud with the 25R1 release.Can we get a comment on whether this is just a plan, or if it is definitely going to happen.We have a number of customers who have a large number of Crystal Reports, used for both Quick and Operational Reports.  If this is going to be removed they face a huge amount of rework based on this.  It is going to put Customers off upgrading to Cloud for sure.What are IFS suggesting is used to replace these Crystal reports that businesses have come to rely on over the years they have been IFS Customers?

We are currently on apps 10 upd 18 Aurena and in the middle of a cloud upgrade. We’ve noticed in apps 10 that the Inventory Part Usage Tracing page doesn’t load when you click it from the navigator. It’s like there’s no URL under the page.I can RMB on Inventory Transaction History and see “Open link in new tab”When I RMB on Inventory Part Usage Tracing in the navigator it shows me the menu that looks like I’m not clicked on a link. Does anyone else have this issue?​​​​ Eventually after clicking it (~10 mins of waiting) it will load but there is no indication on the screen that it’s loading.

We are currently attempting to upgrade our environment from IFS Cloud 25R1 to R2 using the IFS documentation.We have not made any modifications, and the readiness test in Developer Studio found no errors. The deployment was successfully created in the build area. However, installing the upgrade deployment leaves behind numerous invalid objects, leading to malfunctions in the cloud.Needs the R2 delivery to be merged with the R2 core files beforehand?
