I have a report in IFS Report Designer, and I want it to only display a table if there is data in it. Currently, if the table doesn't contain any data, the report still prints a blank space or page. How can I modify the report so that the table only appears when there is data to display? I tried playing around with page break functionality but that doesn’t seem to fix the issue.  I assume I have to set up condition but I do not exactly know how to figure out the correct expression to add there...any idea?   

Dear team,  I have reconfigured IFS 9 UAT Platform, Due to IP Address changed. But I have created 2 to 3 IFS_HOME, also unable to access the IFS 9 URL in web access. What do I do to access the URL in Browser

All of my options for the Site filter in the Customer Order Line Header says “False (Budget/planning Only)”. When I select one, all of the customer order lines disappear as in it doesn’t recognize any of the lines with the site- which is not true (see screen clippings below).The site option in other screens work correctly and in Aurena, so far, it just seems to be for the Customer Order Line. Any idea on whats causing this issue particularly for this screen?   Customer Order Lines without site selected in the header... 

I am running into a background job warning that is halting machine downtime information (pulled from an outside source) from showing up in Shop Floor Clocking.The warning message, although points me in the right direction, seems incomplete. It doesn't stop the information from being retrieved into IFS, but it does not appear within the clocking screen which plays a part in overhead transactions and such. Any advice?The log we have withing IFS from the 3rd party tool shows the machine timestamps but when the column “Downtime Recorded” is unchecked, this means it did not transfer to Shop Floor Clocking.  

Hi all, I am newer to IFS Cloud. We are upgrading from Apps9 to 23R2 this Summer (fun!).  Basically, Azure AD SSO works fine in the Microsoft Edge browser but fails to work specifically in IFS Business Reporter on my machine. I have had 4 other Users try it with no success.  We had our IT Admin try it and it works for him, but it doesn’t work for anyone else.  Here is what I tried:  Validated Azure AD SSO Configuration: Confirmed the Azure AD login works in the Edge Confirmed that another user successfully logs into IFS Business Reporter with Azure AD SSO. Out IT Admin had a success on his account/device Myself & 3 others had no success  Cleared Local Cache and Credentials & Reinstalled:  Removed cached credentials from Windows Credential Manager. Deleted all IFS-related files under AppData\Roaming and AppData\Local. Completely uninstalled and reinstalled the IFS Business Reporter application + VS 2010 Ensured Environment Compatibility per Techni

I’m trying to set defaults values to SubContract Revision and items → Items section via a BPA workflow.  Tried adding values for different fields but none of it worked. Above is the one I tried to add a default value for ItemName field.The projection Action I used is this, Any idea why this is not working as expected?Version is 23R1.

IFSCRWebsetup.msi not installing on windows 11, try different computers same error then I installed all windows features of .Net Framework & Internet Information services. Then its installed but now when in IFS I try to print quotation it give below error“Looks up a Localized string similar to cannot load the Crystal report. Is there a field or step in IFS to link two customers.Example: Customer A sold to customer B. The customer B purchased all of the assets for the equipment sold to Company A. We need to track the sales of Customer A for warranty and configurations of products sold.

In the 2nd set of filters in overview windows can we define the value of these parameters or introduce new? because in our company we need to create a search between today and end of fiscal year which is in end of october

Hello IFS Community,In my company we are using IFS 9.4 version. I want to copy a serial object from the USA site to another INDIAN object. How can I do this? When I want to copy this object, it does not allow me to enter a different serial number in this object. A person on the INDIAN site cannot see this serial object  

We have just recently went live with IFS Cloud 23R2. I have installed the Business Reporter on a users machine. I have also created the IAM Client for Business Reporter. After installing the Business Reporter the user opens the report in excel and goes to the login feature but instead of the IFS login window opening, we receive this error instead? I have installed this on other machines and it worked perfectly fine. I am looking for some suggestions of how to try and resolve this issue. Thanks!!

When creating a new case, and adding text to the “additional info” box, the text is not visible on a finished case. The box contect shows empty but it is visible on IFS’ backgroun system. The problem started somwhere between 10.9.-9.10.2024 and has been repeated on all cases created after that.

I am trying to delete some storage zones to reorganize and create new ones.  I have some parts assigned to those zones through inventory part putaway zones.  I can’t delete the storage zone until all the parts assigned to it have been removed.  I do not know what parts are assigned to what zone. The only solution I have found is to click through each individual part listed in the inventory parts putaway zones page.  Is there a way to search by zone to see what parts are assigned to it?

Hi everyone,My password has expired to the new customer portal. The re-set password link from the IFS.com page links back to the old portal with the old user names. Has anyone been able to re-open an account since the change to the new portal? any tips are appreciated Thank you 

I am having issues with my IIS app pool crashing after a make a call to a stored procedure. I get the result and then the next time I want to call the procedure again I get this errorMicrosoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127: The specified procedure could not be found. (Oracle in OraDB19Home2, C:\oracal_driver19installer\BIN\SQORA32.DLL). putting different oracle drivers on has not fixed the problemif I recycle the IIS app pool I am able to call the procedure but it then crashes on the next call.

Can we have more control over the permissions for viewing ?so I can set the visibility of change management for everyone to view but I want to limit the other issue types or even better to have control of certain categories,  I want to utilize the system without crippling any departments, I want certain requests not to be viewed or be visible to IT Service Desk.  yet in the same time I want IT Service Desk to have visibility over everything as they are spoc I have tried to do the form designers visibility but eventually the change history showing all the changes to Service Request and I cannot take that away that action visibility from service desk

Hello Here I have built an integration with another application, although I am having an issue with the last stage,    basically my tickets have a reference number for the other system which shall be used for API callnow I got stuck on a part where I want to query the attachments on the other system and download them for each ticket number  example Assist reference number 12345 - the other system reference 54321» anothersystem.sa/api/v2/attachment/54321 » returns list of attachments IDs» anothersystem.sa/api/v2/download/attachmentid » insert as an attachment on Assist I created http outgoing channel, but I am not sure how to capture the response for that GET call,I have read the documentation over and over yet I couldn’t find anything that could help me in my scenario   here is how I imagine my datamappers to look liketriggering action > GET Call > Response > filter response and draft another GET call based on the response parameter> save attachment.  I am open to any ideas
