Restrict Customer Address Field to LOV (IEE)

I am looking to restrict users to having to utilize the list of values when entering a customer’s address in the General Address Info on the Customer Record.Right now, the IFS native field is both free type and has the option to use the list of values.Is there a way to lock the field so that it is no longer free type - and users HAVE to use the list of values? Any help here is much appreciated

PSO release process

IFS recommends customers to stay evergreen and upgrade to the latest version to enjoy the latest improvements and any new enhancements. With regards to PSO, any software defects will only be corrected in the latest version released (e.g. PSO 6.x) via the service updates(e.g. PSO 6.x.x.x). No defects will be corrected as hot fixes in older versions.

Splitting activities

Hi!I was redirected here with following Question:“I tried working with split and interrupt activity and found some interesting behavior. If I don't have implicit breaks defined in the shift, the process behaves correctly, the original long activity will be divided and the urgent activity will be scheduled. However, if there is an implicit break in the shift, then the original activity is not split and the urgent activity is not planned at all.Could you please advise me what I need to set so that it splits even with an implicit break?PSO StandaloneThanks for help! “In attachments I am sending saved schedule, please and thank you for Help!

IFS Academy: cannot fast forward or rewind

Hi, I’m going through the IFS Cloud Essentials training and I cannot fast forward or rewind. I’ve tried it in Chrome and in Edge. Even once I’ve finished a course and it’s marked as “Complete”, if I want to watch it again, I have to watch the entire thing. I’m sure you can understand why this is hampering my ability to learn. Thoughts?

IFS Cloud 22R2 SU7 - ifsapp-odata pod is in ERROR state

Hi All,ifsapp-odata pod was in ERROR state and the other new ifsapp-odata pod also was recreated on its own but the old pod not deleted/dropped automatically, we encountered multiple issue in application for example "Reports (PDFs) are not loading/ previewing for the user". when we deleted the error ifsapp-odata pod and restarted the new ifsapp-odata pod then the system came back to normal. Getting error in ifsapp-odata podStatus: FailedReason: EvictedMessage: Pod ephemeral local storage usage exceeds the total limit of containers 1G. Kindly guide us, it will be highly appriciated.Regards,Vivek NR.

IFS Academy - issues logging in

I should have an account at IFS Academy but cannot login. When utilizing the password resetting tool, it is not sending any emails back to indicate a reset. There is information on who should be contacted (academy@ifs.com), but limited action taken, if any. I have contacted academy for a week now with no resolution. Each time I send an email, Academy indicates they have put a ticket in and in 48 hours all should be resolved. A week later, and no resolution has been achieved. Perhaps there is something on my end that is wrong?

Acceptance Sampling Rejected But All Result Within Specification

I found some cases where inspection results are within specification, but acceptance sampling status is rejected. Shouldn't it be accepted as all results are within specification? Anyone can tell me why? Thanks

Unacceptable File Formats

HTML, TRC, XML So far when attaching supporting, often requested, files to IFS Service Centre Support portal I have to waste my time converting the above to something that can be attached.Yet again the Support function is failing in its Moment of Service. IFS Academy - Enabling Developer Mode Requires Elevation

I have enrolled to the Aurena Native Development - IFS Cloud (Virtual Blended Course). I’m using a demo environment to do the development trainings but I’m stuck at a point where I’m not able to install the UWP application on my machine due to the "the requested operation requires elevation” issue when trying to enable the developer mode.I would appreciate any clarifications on this please @IFS Academy.

IFS Academy - videos play, then pause and fail to finish...

I got all signed up and figured out which courses I wanted to go through, but when viewing them, they will play about 70% complete, then fail to finish. I thought maybe it was a Chrome issue, so I logged into IFS Academy in Microsoft Edge and still behaved the same way.Has anyone had this experience? Thanks, Michael

I am currently running the support desk for our IFS Apps 9 application, servicing over 350 full license users. Am struggling a bit to keep up with demand for usual service items, permission sets, user amendments, general functionality questions alongside a backlog of change requests (Some large, some not so big) alongside Projects, and a potential upgrade. I also have a number of integrations that always require supportI have an analyst, and a developer who helps from time to time but is dedicated to the business. We have a small technical team that look after the on-prem servers, but thats about it. What size teams are typical for similar businesses? We use the HR with health and safety, SFWB, Finance, Service, Relationship Management, Supply chain to mention a few along with a fair amount of config. We have a small pot of funds to support configurations that are out of my knowledge base and some functional support. Its a fair amount, and I am approaching the business leads for more

How can I check the Gold Support Term update history?

When the Gold Support Terms or Global Support Policy are updated, we, the 1st line, must inform our customers with support service contracts of the changes.Global Support Policy has a update date in the document so we can check if it has been updated or not.However, Gold Support Terms has no such date and the only way to find out is to check the difference. IEE single user unable to login

Environment:IEE, IFSv10 UPD 11 Enabled single sign-on via ADFS securityProblem:Windows security pops up when user tried to connect through SSO (Sign in as current user) as shown below User can log in when they type username and password, however, User gets kicked off sporadically and the system locks them out completely. It unlocks after 5-10 min or more and they are then able to connect only by typing in username and password and not through current user link shown aboveChecks/Tests done:Checked user configuration on both IFS and Active Directory account Requested user to close IFS and all other applications before changing password Confirmed no sessions on FND_CLIENT_LOGON_TAB before requesting user to retry connection, which still failed, but after awhile let the user connect. User was provided a different PC to rule out if it was machine related issueNote: The timeouts ae irregular. User had no issues until a week ago. User says no change occurred from their end. Other users are ok
