Hello, I searched IFS online help for Streams - the titles exist for help topics but no text to be seen after clicking on subjects - and yes, I tried using different browsers besides IE. I’m looking for any information on streams. I’m relatively new to the company. They use streams for notifications of creation of customer orders. I found the event action that sends to the stream. Howver, I need to set up a new user to receive this stream. I’m looking for a how-to on Streams. Any advice appreciated. Thanks much!

Apps 10 MWO Transfer to Mobile - Pool Keep Task

Hi, in IFS Apps 10 (Update 6) when transferring a task to mobile from a Work Order, in the Transfer To Mobile window there are 2 checkboxes:Pool Work Order Pool - Keep TaskWhat does “Pool - Keep Task” do, and when would we use it? There is no help topic or other documentation I can find that explains what it does.Transfer to Mobile window in Apps 10.

Search domain error

I have an error when I trying to use Search Domain on IFS10.all items in Search domains Window have already Enabled checked.I think this problem is Oracle issue but I not sure. Documents in Oracle Database

We have our IFS on their managed cloud services and store our documents in the oracle database. Obviously we have now already about 880 GB of document data in our database (tablespace IFSAPP_LOB) which means that the backup (and restore!) take very long. We assume that there are a lot of obsolete documents and unoptimizied documents regarding their size. How can we analyze these documents regarding age and size?

Is it possible to query doc_type = ‘VIEW’ from the DOC_ISSUE_REFERENCE? Right now we are only see the ‘ORIGINAL’ doc types.

Change object from company owned to customer owned?

Is there a reason you cannot change an object you have created from company owned to customer owned? When creating a serial object in the serial objects view, you can select company or customer owned. When creating a serial object in the object view, you cannot and by default the object is created as company owned. Only when it is returned on the returns tab in the work order, can it be changed to customer owned. But this does not change the ownership of the object itself, which will forever stay company owned. Is there an incentive to change this? Does it matter?

Using Quick Part Price with Pricing Rules

On the place screen, we have a “quick part price” button Using this will show you the list price of the part but nothing more. We have many part pricing rules in effect for specific customers but those numbers are only visible when adding the part to a part need. is there anyway to make this function work to look at those pricing rules? Doesnt look like it looks at the unit cost from the rule either.

mWO Service 10 - object access

Hallo, I need some help with mWO objects. I have approximately 8 000 objects serviced by 50 technician. So I want to divide the objects into smaller parts (like service regions) & and have individual access to them. I disable property SuncAllObject on TAS. I (even) disconnect group push user (IFSSERVICEENGAPP) from the site. Doesn’t work. Every mobile user can see all the objects. What else I should do ? Any idea, please ?

Eforms to stay on mobile work order till work order returned

We have a requirement for a customer for which we would like to use eforms as digital forms to replace site appraisal forms. What we would like to achieve is that the technician completes a site appraisal in an eform and that the eform after completion stays on the mobile device. This is so that other technicians can see what has been completed in the eform during the execution of the work. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Historical Work Orders

Hi Experts, As I know, ‘Finished’ & ‘Cancelled’ status WOs are viewed in ‘Historical Work Orders’ screen. But, if you look on the search option for ‘Status’, it shows two more options i.e. ‘END’ & ‘Reopened’ . So, can anyone please let me know the situations of those WOs ??? what are the instances of getting such status for WOs ??? Thanks, Thieuban

We're considering that IFS receive image files from an external system, execute the Document Attachment function in batch processing, and keep links with datas stored in any remote server, not the database. How to show toolbar again?

Hi, I’m starting to use IFS Application. It’s a Windows Client running on Windows 10 Professional. I was reading the on line help and doing the excercises proposed on the e-learning page. When working with the toolbar, I used the contextual menu to hide diferent toolbars. Suddenly, I hided all the toolbars and I can not find the way to show the toolbar again. I’ve looked in every menu available, and tried with the secondary mouse button on the menu. Can we write a condition using expression instead of using "change" operator. I have a business rule where I have a condition using expression like below: In the same expression can we also check whether PERSON_CAL_EXCEPT.START_DTTM has been changed or not. The intention is not to add one more input param “PERSON_CAL_EXCEPT.START_DTTM” and not to rebuild the condition again with an additional line for checking whether PERSON_CAL_EXCEPT.START_DTTM has been changed or not. Please help if anybody has any suggestion on this.

Generating Task Templates off Place ID

Task templates let you add part needs based on model ID, part ID, product family & product name. i am looking to add “place ID” as one of the parameters for the part needs so if its a specific model for a specific store, they get a different part need any one had any luck with this?

FSM5.7.6 Request Template UDF Fields

I would like to use one of the UDF fields from the Request template and when running the ECO Generation it copy that field onto the Request. is this doable? if so what additional setup would be required as just adding the field to the UI for the request template did not do it. Thanks, Graeme

Hi I have following error in Outbound Application message. Error while preparing input data. Caused by: ifs.fnd.base.SystemException: Transformer error : java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 5, Size: 2 Caused by: javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 5, Size: 2 Caused by: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: Index: 5, Size: 2 This error will be gone after reroute the application message but Multiple messages frequently appearing in failed status. IFS Module Screening Problem

We realized that normally we can access banking transaction menu in ifs system. However, when we trying to access this option with different computer but same user, we cannot access this option. System doesnt show this option. To solve this issue, I have followed this steps 1 Ifs uninstall 2 Apps/2.0 deleted 3 Net Framework uninstall 4 restart windows 5 install framework 6 install IFS But lt couldnt worked, what can we do about solving this issue. Note: Our windows 10 system recently updated.
