A user has access to Manufacturing > Shop Order > Order > Shop Order, tabs "Material" and "Operation". He also has access to the Manufacturing > Shop Order > Operation Analysis > Shop Order Work Guidelines screen. If he does a RMB on a line item in the first screen’s “Material” tab, there is an item “Work Guidelines ...” to make it easy to navigate between the two screens. For him, it’s grayed (ghosted) out, so he can’t select it. The same is true for the “Operation” tab: the RMB item is there, but grayed out. This is NOT a custom RMB, so there isn’t a presentation object to grant permission to. Is it possible to grant permission to use an IFS native RMB menu item? If so, how? Please note that he can see and use both the source and destination screens, so the problem is with the button itself.

Hello, Is anyone experience issues using the Time Balance Reconciliation with the Time Base “Job Hour Controlled Hours?” I currently have the time balance reconcilliation process to convert any hours above 8 to OT. The time card is recalculated to subtract the regular hours allocated to overtime. E.g when reporting 10 hours on job, attendance hours with reconcilliation are reported as REG - 8, OT -2. When trying to insert any additional job hours, I am getting the error message : Failed to insert normal hours……. There is no error, when I turn off time balance calculation on the time card. If anyone experienced the following issue, I would appreciate any insights. Thanks!
Why would an asset not appear in a depreciation proposal? It is an active status object with a book and depreciation method specified, acquisition and valid from dates have passed and depreciation is not marked on hold?
We are trying to count down an inventory part to 0 using the count by inventory part and now receive an error Counted Qty must be greater than 0 Error when approving the count, not sure what would drive this.

Task templates let you add part needs based on model ID, part ID, product family & product name. i am looking to add “place ID” as one of the parameters for the part needs so if its a specific model for a specific store, they get a different part need any one had any luck with this?
I recall I posted this in December but did not get a response and cannot find the original post. We used to use the IFS Integration to P6 however due to Oracles licensing changes we can no longer afford the license so are looking to create a custom interface. Therefore we are looking for documentation on the IFS integration API’s (PROJX) but have so far drawn a blank. This has become quite urgent as we would rather not investigate / write everything from scratch. It would be good if we could understand what we can/ cannot use by way of the API's, which ones call Primavera API's etc. and therefore understand what we need to avoid. Thanks in advance

I am looking for best practices (if possible with reference) regarding IFS Applications field service work order planning and resource allocation. It seems there are 3 options: Standard work order gantt and resource allocation: very limited functionality, user unfriendly, slow; Maintenance Planning Board: complex, meant for maintenance not for field service; error prone (connection loss); PSO: complex, requires mature organisation, only applicable for short cycled work orders. Any help on this topic is highly appreciated!
When employee is working during night time and daytype is setup using from current to next the attendance time is registered to time card on the date of the evening when employee starts his work. During this same night when reporting time on shoporders through workbench the manufacturing clockings goes to the timecard of the date when they where actually performed. So as an example On time card for Tuesday 2020-04-14 Intervall page show 2020-04-14 22:00 - 2020-04-15 06:00 Manufacturing clockings pages show transactions where stopped dates are from 2020-04-14 00:15 - 2020-04-14 22:55 According to attendance daytype settins the majority of those transactions show have been shown on time card for Monday 2020-04-13 Is there a way to set the system to handle this ?

Dear All, I am trying to raise the customer schedule from supplier schedule. This is an inter site transfer. When I am putting the status of supplier schedule transferred. Customer Schedule should be generated but it is not generating. I checked the status of messages in “In Message Lines”, the messages are coming in rejected state. When I check the error text below is the message. ORA-20124: Error.NULLVALUE: Field [EAN_LOCATION_DEL_ADDR] is a required item because it is a mandatory item for receiving the customer delivery plan, so a value is required. does anyone where this value should be given. Is it some how possible to get transport task generated automatically between sites? I can setup multisite and MRP genererate distribution orders nicely. But if I have two sites in same physical location, then order handling is some cases too much. Easier would be use just Move inventory part / transport task. IFS10 upd7
When using the Excel Data Migration Add-in if any fields contain dates IFS brings them into Excel in the form DD/MM/YYYY HH:MI:SS. If you do nothing and try to Validate the row, the result column seems to insist that the field doesn’t contain anything (if mandatory). If you click in the field and then out again Excel re-presents the field as YY/MM/YYYY HH:MI and right aligns it. It then validates ok. Obviously if you have a lot of records you can’t click in every field to ensure the formatting corrects itself. Does anyone know how to solve this ?
Hello Community, Just wanting to ask how do you measure your On Time Delivery from your order. What is standard IFS way to compare your 1st Confirmed date and Last confirmed date vs actuals to measure OTD. As IFS have Wanted, Target, Planned, Promised dates, but all of those seems to be possible to be changed until invoiced, how should OTD be measured with IFS logic? Anyone has thoughs?
We use IFS applications: Client version: 9.0.0.0 (Upgrading is not possible in the near future.) Server version: 6.90.0.1 Users works with OS: Editon: Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC Version: 1809 OS Build: 17763.1039 And users on Windows 10 workstations have problems with application usage, the problems are as follows: Menus disappear from time to time; When working in multiple windows, notifications appear behind the main window and cannot be accessed; Freezes IFS application and cannot perform any actions - only workstation restarts help; When using the search filter, clicking on the menu opens it behind the window and you cannot see it; Our developers and IFS application partners in Latvia have no idea why IFS 9 does not work properly with Windows 10 and how to solve these problems. Maybe you have a solution, how can we solve these problems? Thank you very much in advance
We would like to change the sort on the Manual Issue Material screen to be by Receipt Date. We can go in and do the sort, save the profile, but it still resets back to the original sort, which is the quantity on-hand. Is there a way to change this or set it to a different default?

Hi, User is experiencing error: The Ledger Item object is locked by another user. I have asked user to log off and back into IFS but this hasn't resolved the issue. Also by checking database session screen I have confirmed no one else is using the ledger item API. This is preventing them from saving supplier offset records. Any ideas how we can resolve this please? Thanks in advance
Our external payroll administration company sends voucher information in SIE format, which is a standard file format in Sweden for accounting transactions. Is there a possibility in IFS to receive external vouchers in SIE format? The SIE format is a HTML file and this far we have only found it is possible to import external vouchers from text files.
