Open Calls Lookup functionality in Alliance

ISSUE/QUESTION: Why does the Open Call button not return accurate results on a Service Order (i.e. once it’s been saved)? The Open Call button appears to only work in New Service Order (before WO is saved). The results displayed from a saved Service Order do not match what I see in Order Locator module. Is this the intended function?ENVIRONMENT: Alliance ProductAUDIENCE: Internal/ExternalRESOLUTION/ANSWER: Looking at the example provided, existing (saved) Service Order, a Product/Item was populated; Dispenser. The user then clicked Open Calls. The way Open Calls works is that it will not count the Service Order that you already have open when you click the Open Calls icon (assumes you know about that one). It will also filter by Product if populated. Therefore, on the Open Calls Lookup, click the down arrow to see all of the filters, in this scenario Product: Dispenser was a filter. Refill Remote Warehouses from Main Warehouses

We have 3 remote warehouses, all different remote assortments for their parts Truck 1 - Remote Assortment 1Truck 2 - Remote Assortment 2Truck 3 - Remote Assortment 3We issue off parts from work orders to take parts off the TrucksWe want to replenish our trucks from 1 Main ‘non-remote’ warehouse, according the their remote assortments (refill point qty, and refill to qty). How can we create transport tasks to take parts from the main warehouse to the remote warehouses?When I manually run ‘refill all putaway zones’, nothing happens. I believed it should have created these transport tasks.I’d like to do this manually or automatically. But must be missing something. My storage zones, Putaway Zone Basic Data, And Site is setup as such: I believed that Putaway Zone basic data eliminated the need to do putaway rankings at the inventory part screen. APPS9 UD17 failed updating AS, MWS directory missing

Good day. I have been trying to apply update 17 to our APPS9 UD14 instances (I have tried 4 different instances) and he end result is the same.Failed to update AS & the MWS directory never recreates. Db space seems fineApplication server has 40G free on C: and 65G on D where ifshome resides. The application runs fine prior to the update.I run reconfiguration prior to the updateThe database updates with no errors.This appears as a Middleware issue. Any clue as to why AS will not startup? Prior to executing the update install the following services are stoppedIFSConnectIFS SolrManagedServer1 AdminServer is left running I appreciate any insight. Thank you,Marjie

BrnchId tag issue in ISO20022 Output file

Hi,<BrnchId> tag is appearing inside <FinInstnId> section under <DbtrAgt> in the ISO20022 output file generated by IFS 10.But, most of the banks like Zenith Bank in Nigeria, Citi Bank in Panama, Bank of America in Mexico are requesting to have <BrnchId> outside the <FinInstnId> section but under the <DbtrAgt> tag.Can anyone let me know, why IFS has included <BrnchId> tag inside <FinInstnId> section.

Work Task Posting Analysis errors for future periods

Hi, I noticed there are several lines in the Work Task Posting Analysis window with the following error:The period 4 is closed in Company 200I would appreciate help to determine what is causing this error. Period 4 is a future period, so there should be no transactions for period 4 yet but I’d like to know what/why this is happening so we can prevent it from happening again.

Apps 9 Single Sign On Troubleshooting

Our org is trying to enable SSO in App 9 - Our existing FND user string is user Initials and Employee ID - but the mapping for these areas is not supported in the AD attributes when mapping the fields in the Active Directory user integration Config screen. What’s the best way to enable SSO and retain the existing FNDUSER string? All other attempts so far have created duplicate user / Person. I have managed to get to a point of using another AD field that is supported to hold the FNDuser and map to it - but the user still can’t log in - aside from selecting “connect with your current windows credentials” in the IFS app login screen is there anything else that needs to be switched on? (Also not really the cleanest way to do it either)

TimeTracker 2.1.XX Apps9 Permission Set (on-prem)

Does anyone have a permission set designed for TimeTracker 2.1.XX? We have 2.1.10 installed on our Apps9 on-prem instance, and there is no “Generate Role Script”. I have an older permission set from 1.4.0, but it is missing a lot. I was able to glean some of the missing information from errors in the log, and now I can login to TimeTracker on my android phone, but get an error that I’m missing “basic data “ and I can’t do anything. It isn’t missing any basic data, as when I login as the app owner, there is no such error. Enclosed is a screen shot of the config screen showing that there is no option to generate the permission set.

Manual supplier invoice date entry in Aurena

When changing the invoice date in Aurena, if I enter 30th July as 30/7/21, the system takes 2 days off the date and returns 28/07/21. If I enter as 30/07/2021, the date is correct.Does anyone have a solution to this please?

Shortage Handling

We are currently using IFS Apps 9 UPD 13. We are looking to become more efficient in our handling of shortages. Upon receipt of a part, we receive a notification that a shortage exists for that part. We then go to the Resolve Shortages for Inventory Part and search for that part no. We can then add a Qty to Reserve to the orders that shortages exist. Our question, is there a way to issue the part to the Order and print a shortage tag instead of simply reserving the part? I have created a custom report and custom menu to print a tag but it is still a manual process. Also, would then need to issue the part from another window. Does anyone have a more efficient workflow that they use for shortage handling? Is there improved functionality for shortage handling in IFS Cloud (that we will be soon upgrading to)?

FSM 6u6 - Survey functionality in Tech Portal webclient

Hi All,Are surveys supported in the FSM Tech Portal (through web Client)? I know Surveys are supported in Web Client (auth: fsm // TASK screen), but I am struggling with the functionality through Tech Portal. (auth: tech // TECHPORTALTASK screen) When we add the survey tab to the TECHPORTALTASK screen the survey answers show up perfectly fine.. However, when pressing the “Surveys” button, we get no results for available surveys. (screenshot below) The interest part is. Use of eforms and mWO

We use eforms as part of surveys to capture data from field techs in the field.Recently we began seeing delays in mobile syncing and I am wondering if there are limitations to the use of eforms on mobile.We use multiple pools and can have up 4000 work orders in various pools along with objects syncing to the mobile devices.We use a Windows Surface Pro 8G RAM Windows10 mobile device. I tried to find how the TAS on Prem works with the MWS and DB and cannot find any specifics as to properly tuning or sizing recommendations.We are on APPS9 UD14, mwo 2.8.0.215 I appreciate your feedback.Thank you

Export Control - Automatic Matching of Licence

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a plan to introduce a functionality to auto match a licence for an order upon release?At the moment the user has to right mouse click on the CO line to find and connect a licence and then update the end user country and/or end usage. This is all very well if there is only a few CO lines but my customer can have up to 100 lines on an order all of which will have to be connected to a licence. Doing this manually is not an option so we are in the middle of creating something bespoke for them.I can’t imagine them being the only customer having that problem so maybe there is something in the pipeline I am not aware of? Or is there anyone out there who had the same problem and has already created something for their customer? ThanksMaria

how to have multiple markup %'s on Work Order Sale

We have created a customer service contract with an invoice rule to add a 4% markup on the items we’re buying for a customer. We would like to know if there is a way to configure the service contract and /or work orders so that if we’re shipping a specific sales part to a customer there is no markup.ie Sales Line 290 below should have 0% markup instead of the default 4% derived from the Invoice Rule on the Customer Service Contract

Change Encoding in SAF-T XML file

This is related to xml file generated using external file template "SAF-T Portugal Template". This template used 'UTF-8' as encoding format. There seems no option to modify the same. I tried with exporting the template - modify the encoding format- import the file in a newly copied template but this is not working. I want to use encoding format Window-1252.
