Hi, As am unable to record ongoign sickness on APPS9 - I wanted to record a ‘To’ absence date a long way in the future. Unfortunately, it wont allow that because of holidays booked already it wont allow overlapping absences. Is there anyway i can configure to have more than once absence recorded for a different reason but a the same time?

Hi, Please see the screen of Inventory Transactions History below. You can find Posting error checkbox ON. I would like to find why those errors appeared. 2 lines from top to 2nd might just transfer Inventory from Stock location to shipment location then 3rd line shows parts delivery to customer. The invoice is still NOT issued. In my thought, financial transaction may not be needed, so the checkbox “Has Erroneous Postings “ shows ON with the meaning of Posting NOT required…. Please advice me thet my thought is correct or not. if NOT, please let me know how to check the error and solve it. Regards; Yasuda
Hi When I create a custom page with read-only columns, I cannot enable LOV when I search the read only columns in the custom page. Does anyone know a workaround to this? (1-2) When does INACTIVE sessions start releasing? 2. Which exactly IFS screen is it for expiration date/time of above INACTIVE sessions? 3. Why does NOT IFSSYS session release? Hi, We have installed IFS Apps 10 (Enterprise Explorer) and I am able to log in to the front-end using the shortcut under username “ifsapp” and with the correct password. However when I set up a connection to PL/SQL Developer and try ifsapp (with the same password as I used above) I get “invalid username/password; logon denied”. My tsnames.ora file is correct, I am sure of that. I can’t reset the ifsapp password in Apps 10 User Management because others are using that username. How can the ifsapp password for Oracle be different to the interface password? When we used Apps 8 it was always the same for both.

I've been trying to understand the api calls via OData. For savety measures I've renamed our server instance to xyz. So far I found out the following: I logged on to an IFS10 environment via https://xyz:48080. I selected Entrance to Aurena for that. I opened a new tab in Google Chrome and copied in the following https://xyz:48080/main/ifsapplications/projection/v1/DocumentClassesHandling.svc/DocClassSet?$select=DocClass,DocName&$format=json This returns a list of available Doc Classes and their description (json formatted). Very nice. Using the same URL and pasting it in FireFox (with no IFS10 running) the server returned the following: https://xyz:48080/openid-connect-provider/login?rf=p8dCXSBiIY The logon screen is shown. Seems logical to me. No idea what the parameter rf means, but I logged in (with a full access user id). Hello, Is there a way to delete unissued material line from work order, to get a clean work order… once i issue material on work order it goes to posting, then it shows two lines issued an unissued, user wants to delete the line once unissue materiel to have clarity on work orders. The snippet shows, i can delete the unissued material line from WO but cannot Save it. Any ideas… Thanks
Not able to view document in one entity out of multiple entities. Error: Entity Instance not found. Is there any setting entity wise in document management. PS: Issue occurred after IFS10 upgrade.
Dear community. When an employee starts indirect/production using the Shop Floor Workbench they are prompted with a Warning that they have not registered an attendance In clocking (as we do not clock in/out). This creates a record on the interval tab of the Time Card Day with the in time. When the employee stops indirect/production the MFG clocking/results are created but no OUT time is created, so the employee can finish for the day and the Out clock never gets populated. Then the employee can try to book in Time Registration to another indirect shop order and they get the message It is not calculated as there is no end clocking, but what will insert the end clocking since the employee doesnt clock for attendance, only for shop orders? This error then stops any entry on the time registration , even for other days, and no results are generated for that day, so the day can not be authorized for payroll transfer. What am i missing ? Is there a place to put one-time costs, such as tooling costs in the estimator? I don’t want it to roll into the calculated cost, but I want to be able to capture the one-time cost for reference at the time of pricing and for future reference if we get the order.

We are using APPS9. Is anyone using the AP/AR netting functionality? We want to start using the netting process but we are trying to figure out how to let the supplier know that we have netted one of their AR invoices against their AP check. We would like to identify, the AR invoice that was used in the offset, on the supplier remittance advice without having to do it manually so that the supplier is aware that the netting has taken place. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rob

Hi, I have created a report which the ‘GL Balance’ column is set as a repeater and with ‘Year’ being the input, it shows each period correctly. Now I need to show the Year-to-Date value in the each repeating period. I am not sure how to give this logic in the column filter as it is the repeater that determined the bottom period. The customer is using IFS V10 UPD6. Any ideas? Thank you - Pamith

I have not find the correct set up to get customer invoice sent automatic when shipment is closed. I have modify the order type like this: And then set up in the customer misc customer info the email option to invoice Now it seems that system stop the flow totally after shipment flow process and not proceed to invoicing. We are working in IFS10. What set up is missing?
A user has access to Manufacturing > Shop Order > Order > Shop Order, tabs "Material" and "Operation". He also has access to the Manufacturing > Shop Order > Operation Analysis > Shop Order Work Guidelines screen. If he does a RMB on a line item in the first screen’s “Material” tab, there is an item “Work Guidelines ...” to make it easy to navigate between the two screens. For him, it’s grayed (ghosted) out, so he can’t select it. The same is true for the “Operation” tab: the RMB item is there, but grayed out. This is NOT a custom RMB, so there isn’t a presentation object to grant permission to. Is it possible to grant permission to use an IFS native RMB menu item? If so, how? Please note that he can see and use both the source and destination screens, so the problem is with the button itself.
