I have known IFS allows Or in the search field using “;” How can end user use NOT IN? Below does not work Nor does below work! Any idea without using SQL as this is for end user who is not SQL expert.
Hi, We have a small group of users who require access to the Quick Report screens in IFS as they are responsible for business reporting. In Apps 8, this is Solution Manager->Reporting->Ad-hoc Reporting Is there a way of just granting them access to these two screens without giving them the Administration system privilege as we don’t want them having access to all the other components in Solution Manager as this poses a risk they could change system config/settings. Hi All, I am trying to replicate customer issue internally with the customer db dump. Program sends series of sql statements to the database ( i.e inserts ,updates delete ). If the program completed successfully, I just refresh the tables with customer db dump and started testing again. I have completed couple of test runs yesterday successfully.(it takes around 10 mins to complete all sql statements ) When I ran test today, it stuck on particular statement (even after 10 mins that particular sql statement didn’t get completed ), where as yesterdays run it took less than one minute to complete and sends back results to the program, on same data. I am testing the program each time on exact the same data. No changes in database, data, and no time outs , no network issues, noted. No deadlocs or table blocks observed. Why the oracle sometimes takes long time (some times no response at all ) on sql statements which sends results quickly on previous tests, exactly on same data)? Not c
I created my own page navigator node in the gobal context of Aurena but when I go to a user that has a different permission set then mine they don't see the newly created node. How do I get this changes of nodes to show for the different permission sets?

Hello from the documentation, I understand that the IFS instance has to be set up exclusively either as 1) enabling copy from Project Deliverables to Asset or 2)to Copy to Equipment. This setup being based on property COPY_TO_MAINTENANCE. Does it mean that once it’s defined for an IFS instance, and that Project Deliverables has been used, then it should stay as it is? Does it means that it’s not possible to run both flows in the same instance? Thanks
Hi there, Does anyone know what username and password should be entered into the boot.properties file for the adminserver? wls_domain\CST1\servers\AdminServer\security\boot.properties I am trying to get an old test verson up and running, I get the following error in the AdminServer.log Here is the exception from the log: Caused By: weblogic.security.SecurityInitializationException: Authentication denied: Boot identity not valid. The user name or password or both from the boot identity file (boot.properties) is not valid. The boot identity may have been changed since the boot identity file was created. Please edit and update the boot identity file with the proper values of username and password. The first time the updated boot identity file is used to start the server, these new values are encrypted.

Hi, inside of EE client, we could enable Address and input a URL manually. As we tested, both HTTP and HTTPS protocol are supported. To avoid security problem related with HTTP, how to enable SSL inside EE client? or how to make EE client block the access if the URL is not support HTTPS? Thank you!
Hi All, I want to understand the use and functionality of Planned Period Units in Manufacturing Standard. If I dont define the periods in this screen, then what is the implication of this. Also, are they defined automatically while doing in installation of application. If these are defined manually then in how much time duration we need to define this. as in my system they are defined toll 2024, first day wise , then week wise and then quarter wise from 2018. Hi all, I am trying to configure a new inbound EDI process to receive customer orders into our IFS 10 UPD 4 setup after being converted from VDA 4905/4915 to EDIFACT DELSCH XML. The first part of the process works ok (ReceiveCustomerSchedule) but the second part fails (LoadInboxMessage). The error text is: XMLPARSE_NAME:View name mismatch: SCHEDULES != IN_MESSAGE_REQUEST at [2:1] Caused by: ifs.fnd.record.serialization.FndXmlRecordParser$ViewNameMismatchException: XMLPARSE_NAME:View name mismatch: SCHEDULES != IN_MESSAGE_REQUEST at [2:1] I have configured: [Our ID at Customer] in Customer Add DELSCH config to Message Setup in Customer Configured Routing Rules - Inbound Can anyone give any pointers as to what “View name mismatch: SCHEDULES != IN_MESSAGE_REQUEST” might refer to? Dear IFS experts We have been trying to go live with the MCPR functionality in IFS for a while. It has been an interesting project. We are facing a potential issue at the moment. Recently, we modified our customer tax codes because of the Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative and now we are having issues with MCPR when we test the functionality between UK and France companies. Our company in France is not setup with a E2 tax code but we use this code in UK. We are wondering if the tax codes have to match for all companies in MCPR or if there is another way to deal with this. Your advice will be very much welcome. Regards Miguel
We have 215 vouchers sat in error that have not passed through to our General Ledger. All of the errors relate to Manual supplier invoices created by numerous users on or after 16th December. The same update error of “The Obj Connect Lu Transform object does not exist” relating to an IP5 posting control. We are not aware of any changes to our system, so are totally baffled as to it’s cause. Has anyone got a clue how to resolve this or had a similar issue ? Regards,
Hi,We are looking into using custom application messages to create and receive XML files in order to make an integration to an external customer system. My initial thought was to create a custom plsql api package to fetch to correct data from the database, and then create the application messages by using the Connectivity_SYS, Plsqlap_Record_API and Plsqlap_Server_API api packages. Then also set up the correct transformers, rules and adresses in the solution manager. Something important I am missing? Furthermore, I noticed some functions in IFS Developer Studio, which is called BizAPI Model and Transformer Model. Is this something that can be used for this purpose? I don’t find the documentation especially helpful, so it would be great with some help to get started. Some examples would also be great. Is there other things I need to keep in mind while setting up the integration?
We have managed to configure the TAS server and are able to send work stream notifications and messages but nothing else. Is there any security or event configuration I have to set up to be able to use the notify me app?? I was hoping it would be just a matter of the user being able to log on and base functionality would allow them to see anything assigned to them. Help appreciated
Hi All I would love to know how you backup your IFS_HOME on the Application Server before applying an IFS Patch or IFS Patch Update? For clarity, I am running IFS version 9 on a Windows Server environment. Now I have never needed to restore the IFS home after a failed update in our current version of IFS (did I just say that!?), so this has led me to wonder if my post patch safety net will save me in my time of need? I have in the past intended to back up the IFS home, using 7-zip (due to crazy path and file name lengths that windows cant handle). When I get to do this, during our tight window of opportunity, it just takes way too long. FYI: It is 23Gb in size. So I don’t bother and decide to rely upon the seemingly effortless Virtual server snapshot taken by our super network boys…… Now is this going to cut the mustard when/if my patch fails? We have successfully completed a DR exercise using these backups/snapshots, so it should work? Even if I did wait for the zip backup of the IFS

Hi, I am trying to change the label name of Page from Page Designer as well as from Navigator Designer. I dont want to publish the changes, I want to first see from my user id (IFSAPP). After doing the changes i am saving but not publishing the changes. What I am experiencing is when I am restarting the Aurena or refreshing the page, changes are not reflecting in UPD 8. When I was doing in Upd 6, changes were reflecting to me after refreshing of pages but when when I am doing in UPD8 I always have to publish the changes. To make the changes effective is this has become mandatory to publish in UPD 8. Please confirm. Thanks and Cheers
Hi Guys I know this is not recommendable but one of the Customers inquired if it is possible to hide few rows under Quotation history based on associated custom object criteria? For example- in below screenshot can we hide bottom two rows under Quotation history tab (highlighted in yellow) where Custom Object- Comm Method is null- possibly using check/uncheck box?
