How to allow an user to unlock an object connection in document revision

Hi, We are maybe going to use the “Connection Status” to disable the “Detach” option in document management. So we are going to lock it to disable the “Detach” option.But in some case, we will need to unlock it and I don’t find how to allow an user to do it. I’m able to do a RMB click on it, but the unlock option is greyed out. I hope you can help me to find a solution.Best regards,

FSM Business Rule Values

Is it possible to view the values that are being evaluated by Business Rules? I have tried turning the log up but it only tells you if it matched or not, not what actual value was being checked. We have a rule set up on TASK_EVENT (On Commit Insert) as follows, key point is thre value for Global_Name is not supposed to match for the rule to fire:However, the notification still fires even if the values matches (its meant to only fire if it doesnt match the value) I have checked the value in the table directly, and even put the value in the notification message but it still thinks that the value does not match and fires. Any ideas?

Post Actual and Recognized Revenue Difference

In the financial project, there is a checkbox for Post Actual and Recognized Revenue Difference. Does anyone know what kind of customer invoices this works with? I am assuming that this works with CD invoices (does it?), but are there other types of invoices that work with this like instant invoices, advanced invoices, staged billing invoices, etc.? Would appreciate any insight.

We have sales parts in SITE1 (approx. 500K) and are trying to create the same sales parts in SIT99 using the script below but are getting an error message that the part already exists. They already exist as inventory parts in both SITE1 and SIT99. Is anyone able to help us with resolving the error and creating the sales parts in SIT99 that already exist in SITE1? Plan to improve rebasing process?

When a new delivery has been made, the customer must ensure the rebasing is done in the Page Configurations.This process seems very fragile, where a wrong step can cause the delivery to fail and not be applied in the applicable place in the system.The answer from IFS when this happens is that the delivery must be redone.Is there a plan to strengthen the system framework to allow for roll back to be able to redo the rebasing when needed?Or to have some warning to let the customer know that the rebasing is being done incorrectly?It seems kind of fragile that one mistake can wreck a delivery that could have been months in the planning,Br Hans

Count Results Stuck Loading

Hello,We’re currently experiencing an issue with one user that keeps having the Count Results and Count Results Per Inventory Part screens get stuck loading. When this happens, we’re able to temporarily fix it by having the user completely close out of IFS and then delete the personal profile branch (User Profiles → Find User → Windows → Features → Delete tbwCoutingResultQuery (Count Results) or frmApproveInventoryPart (Count Per Inventory Part)). Unfortunately, this is only a temporary solution and needs to be done almost every time that the user accesses the screens. We do have other users that access these screens, but they do not experience the same issue. Does anyone have any ideas on a permanent solution?

Shipment notifications

Our shipping department likes to have the paperwork prepared in advance. The problem is if they print the delivery note the event fires to send a delivery note and shipping information to the customer. We don’t want to send those in advance in case something changes. Has anyone come up with a way to send a notification when they hit deliver in the shipment. The problem with the built in event is it won’t list multiple customer PO’s or shipment line information,

Hi All,When work tasks are generated by calendar generation based on a PM group, the description of the PM group is updated as the work task description. But our requirement is that the definition of the Task Template ID of the PM action should be updated as the Work Task Description. Is there a facility in the system to change this setup?

TAS Reverse Proxy issues

Good day fellow forum members. We have been experiencing latency issues with our reverse proxy setup since we installed it in 2020, (using NGINX and Apps 10). On the debugger our average ping response is around 240 ms. In the environments not on reverse proxy it is around 25ms.If anyone has a similar installation, what is your experience of response times? and if possible can you provide a dump of the NGINX config? (obviously deleting IPs)?From the Network layer the response times are 2-3 ms. between DB MWS and Proxy. All are hosted in the same DC and through the years our technical team swapped environments on and off the reverse proxy and it keeps on coming back as the most likely bottleneck.Regards

Approver ID/name missing in docman approval

Hi, we are on Apps10, update 20. I am testing event actions to send approval emails for a specific class of document and when I (or any other user) approves their line on the document revision approval tab, the approver ID and name fill in automatically-see line 1 below. But for my colleague Ryan, he is able to approve but the approver ID and name are blank. There is no error message. He is on the doc access template with view and edit rights. I checked many documents and it works fine for other users who approve documents all the time.This doesn’t seem to be caused by our event action but is coming from standard IFS. I’ve never seen this before, does anyone have an explanation?

Is it possible to add overhead to a Project Transaction with Source Other which are from the Multi-Company Transaction Type 'Customer Company Transaction'

We are trying to add an overhead rate to a multi company project transaction that had its base in an employee project in the employee company and therefore does not have the source project transaction in the customer company, but other. Does anyone know if it’s possible to add information to a project transaction which is the result of a multi company project transaction?

IFS Technician Portal Unassigned Tasks

Hi,We have a scenario like this with one of our customers. Under the electrical maintenance department, there are sub-resource groups such as electrical foreman and electrical expert foreman. A separate hourly cost is required for each group. Our personnel are defined within these sub-resource groups. When the maintenance order is planned, the resource plan is made according to the top group such as electrical maintenance resource group. What we want in the technical portal is that anyone can get the job, regardless of whether it is a foreman or a specialist foreman. Currently, the maintenance personnel we observe in IFS can view and operate the jobs assigned to whatever sub-resource group is defined. How can we solve this situation?
