Hi All,Getting the below error when trying to match the PO receipts in the posting proposal window. Checked a few other similar cases and identified that this type of issue may occur when there is no purchase group defined for a purchase part/no default value NO CT value defined for posting proposal. In 22R1 for Serial Part, the same if we Deliver through Customer Order with enabling as Create SM Object, Serial Object will get generated as Customer owned and current position as In facility, if we want to create RMA and return back it allow to Inventory.But if we migrate the serial object as In facility, then if we want that Serial Part in Inventory, create RMA without Customer Order reference it allows to receive Inventory with Company Owned. then if we deliver this Serial Part through Customer Order and Try to create RMA it does not allow to receive to inventory.Any suggestion or solution for this issue.Note: Business is not following Customer Owned stock in Inventory.

For WHT related scenarios, we’re using a different currency rate type when booking supplier invoice and when creating the tax proposal. However, when we try to create the tax clearance voucher the correct tax reported amount is not being picked up. Instead it is picking up the tax amount as per invoice currency rate type.Is there a way to ensure the reported amount is being picked from the tax proposal? Can IFS automatically calculate the gain/loss between the invoice tax amount and reported tax amount when the tax payment is made?Appreciate any input on the above. Thank you!
Good afternoon,When I created my last forecast, the system created negative ETC and spread the negative value in the forecast spread.I have checked each negative ETC, and it appears that the system is adjusting the forecast when a cost has incurred and has become actual cost but has not been budgeted.The system seems to assume we have posted too much costs and adjust the forecast by reversing the cost overspent.Would you know how to fix this issue so we can forecast the real costs without reversing the actual overspent cost? Is there a way to locate a Model file for a custom operational report? I was researching another report when I noticed that a previous report is no longer listed in our Project. I can locate the schema (xsd) and rdf files but the model (.report) file is no longer showing. The report is deployed and is running. Is there a way to get the .report file back/recreated? We do not use the build_home concept for our custom objects.
Any suggestions on this error message? There are debit and credit open advances that cannot be automatically matched with the invoice SI ####. Please offset advances not relevant for the Invoice ####, manually in a payment entry window first. When creating a posting proposal (IEE Apps 9), RMB header Advance Invoice only shows one available Advance Invoice. There should be three showing. When I do select that one Advance Invoice that appears, I get the error.If IFS is expecting a supplier offset, what does it mean by “offset advances not relevant”? This is my third question in community… hoping for a response.If not able to respond, do you have a favorite resource for IFS information you could share? I don’t mind weeding through information or reading 1,000 pages to find the answer I need. Thank you in advance if you have an idea on this one. Liz
On a maintenance plan, once a Work Order is closed, the due reference is removed from that line. But if a Work Order is cancelled from Prepare Work Order screen, the due reference is still visible on the plan line and it keeps on increasing with each passing day for calendar and latest readings recorded for condition. Is it a defect cause once a WO is closed or cancelled, the due plays no role anymore for that particular line, still it reflects on the line level.
We’ve just deployed Apps 10 UPD20 to our TEST environment and the first thing we have noticed is that lobby tiles with ‘long’ names no longer show on two lines. They are truncated to 1 with ….at the end.We now have a number of tiles with the same name shown in IEE - and a fun job to rename them. Is there a setting that has become valid - or can anyone shed some light onto the IFS Developer Mindset? Thanks,Matt

Hi for two of our customers in V15.4 it looks like in the task/history module (or also into the database into demand_done table with demand_type_id = 'task' or demand.demand_type_id = 'appt' we don’t find any more data before 30/03/2023. Have you already encountered this ? is there an automatic process somewhere ? i have seen that in the config editor on the profile session there is a timer called MoveTaskAppointmenttoHistory could it be the cause ?Thanks for your feedbackRgdsChristophe
For 22R2, release notes came out late - on the day of the release. I’m unaware of any other major ERP waiting until launch day to inform their base what’s coming. Instead, both summary and comprehensive (yet trackable) detail is shared 30-60 days in advance. For 23R1, what can we expect around release notes - and when? The release is coming out later this year, so we’re now in the sweet spot to help us manage change in my experience.What I hope to avoid beyond (waiting until May 25) is having to go module announcement by announcement to gather the highlights. And then seeing bullet 15.7 on the release summary (under Procurement) referencing supplier hierarchies as something to consider when updating. Then have to go to the 23R1 help docs to learn about 3.4.7.1 Manage Supplier Hierarchy… Happy to share more of my past experiences and expectations via this thread or directly. Thank you,Russell

I want to alter a Purchase Part selection screen, as used when selecting items for a purchase order. Currently only the ID of the Purchase Group is shown and I want to also display the name (and allow the user to filter on it when selecting a part).I can add an attribute as follows which looks up the description.On its own, this works and I can see in the database that the PURCHASE_PART view now has an additional field that shows the name of the purchase group.From what I could tell, in order to include the new field on the screen I needed to alter the following: However I now get an error when trying to go onto that screen and it is because that screen appears to be looking at the PURCHASE_PART_LOV3 view. My new attribute is not included in that view.It looks like the PurchasePart.views file contains the various additional views. Currently my PurchasePart-Cust.views file is blank. Is there any way I can get it to just add a single field to additional views? I don’t really want to copy
How is the “Required Date” calculated for parts used on an item that has unconsumed forecast quantities? Why is is the date scaled to the quantity?In this example, compare:A forecast quantity on the top level product (MTA5519SER3) of 10 for 4/2/24, causing a required date on the part of 2/14 (2 months)A forecast quantity of 5 for 7/9/24, causing causing a required date on the part of 6/10 (1 month) Why does the date required depend on the quantity? The logic we we are looking for would be a required date backed up by 1 day, regardless of the quantity. Is there a setting somewhere we can change that controls this?We noticed this issue when we started using more phantoms. For this part number, when used on another product (RS519GEN3) not using phantoms, the need date makes sense.
