Early Shift Allowance

Business Scenario : If someone clocked before 6AM that person should be paid additional payment for the ordinary hours worked. Similar number of ordinary hours requires to be generated in another wage code too(ordinary number of hours should not be deleted). Question : Can this rule configured using Increment Types? If so how to set that? If Increment Types cannot be used what is the functional area that can be used?

Customer is on 23R1 and Event ID “PCM_CALENDAR_GENERATION” (Entity = PmCalendarPlan) is not available. We’ve looked in several customer environments and demo environments and the event seems to ONLY be in demo environments. Has this been deprecated?

Part Types

Hi IFS Community In our business we use a variety of different Part Types in IFS APP10 (Master Part, Sales Part, Purchase Part, Inventory Part & Engineering Part), for example, if you were to look at a Finished Goods part it has a record in all five part types. We have sales parts to allow us to sell goods to customers, Inventory parts for production and storage of raw materials and purchase parts to buy the raw materials from suppliers. I suppose my question is do we need to have all these different part types, are they all linked, do you have to start with a master part and it replicates all the way down through the other part types? if they are linked is there a document or work instruction/flow to show how everything is linked together? Only been using app10 for 1 year and trying to get my head round the system set up. Any help would be appreciated.

Business reporter - date calendar

Please see image attached. In IFS Business Reporter, is there a way to convert Invioice From and Invoice To to calendars? These two fields return dates from db table. Not sure why they don’t display calendar automatically.

CRO: Repair order and forwarding agent selected

Hello, everyone, is it possible to create a Receive Order in CRO or a Purchase Order with the selection of the forwarder (FedEx, UPs)? For a potential customer there is a need to create a stand-alone part repair flow. A customer opens a repair request and our potential client needs to select a forwarder to receive the part and proceed with the repair and then send the part back to the customer. Is there anyone who can help me? Could anyone point me to a possible solution to manage this flow?

BPA User Form Translation

Hi,We've encountered an issue within Workflow User Form, specifically in the header and labels, where using locales other than 'en', it does not seem to work as expected. We're trying to implement Norwegian language support, and we've used the standard locale code 'no' for Norwegian. However, the resulting dialog does not display in Norwegian as it should.We've attempted the following configuration in the Workflow User Form: Despite this setup, the dialog with Norwegian language selected, the Workflow User Form appears as follows:Are 'en' for English and 'no' for Norwegian the correct locale codes for the header and labels in a Workflow User Form? Has anyone else experienced this issue, or is there a different approach we should be taking? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Person Calendar Exceptions - Assigning tasks with long durations

Hello,when I try to assign a task with a long duration (more than 1 day) on the Schedule Board, I get the following error:“The technician has person calendar exceptions that prevent the delegation of this task.”This is because although I'm trying to assign the task to a day when the technician is available for work, as the task covers the next day when the technician has a calendar exception, the aforementioned error already occurs.Are there any parameters/configurations that can be changed in order to assign tasks to this scenario?Thanks!

Automatic Generation of PM WO through Calendar Generation

Hi IFS Guru,I have a scenario where I need to create Automatic Generation of PM WO through Calendar but for specific Object IDs, as our plant is in commissioning stage, we have created PM actions for all the equipment but in preliminary status, some of equipment handed over to Operations and PM Action is in active status, now we need to implement Auto Generation (Avoid going manually to each PM action and click Generate WO) system should be able to create PM WOs (as a background) based on interval for specific Object IDS (that is very important). System should not generate PM WO for all the Object ID even if it is in Active Status. We are using IFS Cloud Web version: 22.2.8.20230509084539.0.Appreciate your help on this matter. Shehzad

Can you call a Security Checkpoint in a Workflow?

Dear all,In applications 9, we had a custom menu (PLSQL) that populated some custom fields using PLSQL. Prior to the modify API being called, we could call this API to force the Checkpoint prompt. Security_Sys.Security_Checkpoint('CHECKPOINT_ID', msg_);Now we are moving to cloud, I have been able to recreate the updating of the custom fields with a BPA Workflow, but I dont know how to call the security checkpoint to activate it. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how to do it? Many thanks,David.

Lookup Screen Child Relationships

Hi All,I’ve been struggling to setup a working child relationship on the CONTRPRODCOVLOOKUP screen (FSM 6.5 Smart Client). I’m wondering if there is some type of limitation to handle relationships on lookup type screens?We have a field I want to display gos_contract.ext.is_paid. I can add the field to the screen, but it never shows a value regardless of what is set in the database. Maybe I’m just overlooking something.Any suggestions?Thanks! IP28 posting trigger without balance difference

Hi,My database is in Apps10 UPD12 I book a supplier invoice in the same transaction currency than the accounting currency of my company (EUR).For this company, parrallel currency is also activated and is also EURSpecific stuff is that i use a Calculated Tax Code I’ve set up 0.02 accepted difference Interresting think is that the system, even if there is no balance difference, triggers four IP28 lines in the I voucher . The total balance of these 4 lines is zero both on accounting currency and parallel currency Does anybody have an idea why system triggers IP28 ? And why 4 times ? Thansks for your help. Eric

Is it possible to activate the log for each modification made to a page? For example, when a user modifies an element in the tool/equipment page we would like to have a record of it (name and date/time)?

Blank Crystal Report with No Data

We developed a Crystal layout on CUSTOMER_ORDER_IVC_REP view for Invoice report. We are able to preview the report with data using Result_Key in Crystal tool. But when we deploy and preview in IFS Application, the report is blank(no data) without any errors as shown in below image.When we deploy this same layout in another environment, we are able to preview the report with data.We are using IFS 10 UPD 13. We observed the same behavior in IEE & Aurena Clients.

Miscellaneous resource allocation in MWO

Hi,This is a question regarding the UI of the application. The miscellaneous resource allocations can be access from the mwo Navigator. It is not displayed as a tile. Is there a reason for this action to only be available in the mwo navigator. If Customer is using this functionality frequently, it is good to have it as a tile in the dashboard. Is there a way to display it as a tile? Thanks !

Why do i get a "resource not found" message after executing a MCPR workflow?

Hi allContext We created a workflow in context of MCPR. We attempt to trigger the event when an employee gets linked to a Customer Company for MCPR. The underlining should afterwards update to the adjusted CompanyId, EmpNo & EmpCatName The workflow exists of the following parts:1 READ to get the empcategory from the original employee 1 script taskt to (store it as a variable)1 READ to read the employee you want to change(1 script task for etag compatibility) 1 PATCH to update the employee with the category ISSUE: When filling the time registration of the MCPR linked employee, we receive the error “resource not found”. We started troubleshooting to see if the error comes from the workflow itself. On first look, that was not the issue. On second look, when reading through the log window, we define a bpa automisation error as u can see on the log window below How to fix this error? Warm regards
