Hello, is there any way to track/monitor open service request (or work orders) within in IFS??

Possibly, create a queue for the techs to see the open work orders and task for any given day or week??

Have you explored the Lobbies?

Hello cperdue, honestly not yet? I would love to - hoping to get pointed in the right direction

What version are you using?   Is your organization utilizing any mobile work order functionality?

There are many possibilities:

  • Filter in the work order  overview
  • Lobby elements
  • Quick Reports
  • Apps like Mobile work order or alternatives on the market

For what you want to (seemingly) achive IFS lobby seems the way to go. You can configure the overviews and data displayed yourself, e.g. split it into infos like:

  • Unassigned work Orders
  • Assigned but not started work orders
  • Work orders assigned to me
  • Work orders this week

and so on..

Really depends on how you run your business and what you need. First step would be to check out the default service lobbies that come with IFS and then figure out what else you need. Lobby elements, depending on th configuration, will also not only display data but link directly to the IFS elements (e.g. work order page).

A documentation for IFS lobbies can be found f.e. here:

@cperdue  Posting response on behalf of @Ifsnewbie as it went into community@ifs.com mailbiox :)

‘I believe it’s 22R1’

@Ifsnewbie - One lobby you review is Work Order Management.

The snip above is just one of the canned lobbies.   The elements can be formatted to view only data critical to your organization.  Lobby pages can be filtered in a variety of ways and could be formatted by technician.

Good morning everyone, thank you so much for the help.  This information is great

I’m running over to Lobbies now
