Visual Shop Orders Planning and Remaining Quantity for Group By Options

23.1.4In Visual Shop Orders Planning, the Material Material Availability Summary chart shows (4) orders with a shortage, and the same part is short on these four orders.My Material Lines Availability chart is filtered from the Material Availability Summary chart.When grouping by Material Line, I can see each instance of this part on its four shop orders. The Remaining Quantity on these orders are 30, 30, 20, and 20 for a total of 100. When grouping by Part, though, the Remaining Quantity shows as 30 not 100. Why is this not showing 100 as the Remaining Quantity for this part on this date?

Customisation Adding sequence

When adding sequence to in a LU in custom component in customisation layer do we need to add that to storage file or UPG file or both  in IFS cloud build place development .

Settings for Power BI Embedded lobby

Hello,We have created an embedded work space for Power BI and can by some settings find reports available in the element designer phase.But if we want to find the details for a report we have no permissions.What settings or Permissions is required to acces the Element Designer for Power BI-elements?We have tried all the permission sets in IFS and the user also has access to the report in Power BI service.Does anyone have a guideline for this or know what’s missing?

Reprice Request MPM

I read in another thread that there may be an MPM to re-price a request. My first question would be, is there documentaiton on available MPMs?If not, could someone confirm if there is a re-price request MPM and if so its name?The intention would be to assign it to a button on the request screen to re-price any part on non-part usages lines. We change linecodes if the customer has caused the breakdown to initiate charging however changing a linecode on a part usage line does not initiate a re-price.If I can get that working I may look to do it automatically using a business rule to trigger the MPM however I need to know if such an MPM is available in the first instance.Thanks,Barry

Command with Navigation Link

At the moment whilst creating a custom command using Navigation Link there are no options to navigate to this page via a new tab, the new tab functionality works for the external navigation option.Is it possible to add this functionality in via a check box within the Page Designer?

BR report data handling capacity and writeback possibility

BR Experts,Could someone with Business Reporter (BR) knowledge, enlighten us whether this amount of data load and writeback option will be possible in IFS Cloud?We have a BR report created to capture IFS project forecasts and Overheads (OH), save it to the BR report template and then use the write back option to writeback values to the Business Plan module in IFS.The report is being run for a particular Company, for one Planning Unit (Code part for the Location - NSW, VIC etc.) and to check All the projects that are available. Our question is to check whether the below amount of data could be handled within the BR report.There are around 10 tabs in the Report. Out of which 2 tabs are most significant and handle large number of data.Tab 1 – For Completed and Current ProjectsCompany                                   01Planning Unit                            NSWNo of Projects max approx.  100Each project is repeating 18 rows. Archiving/Removing document from Document Management

If my customer wants to archive/remove old document from document management are there any processes describing this out there? Customer wants to accomplish this:Remove documents from document management and erase the information from IFS Remove documents from document management and erase the information from IFS and at the same time export the connected documents in PDF or HTML format for archiving in external archiving system Have anyone out there done anything like this?

Pricing devided by Access-Groups not possible in FSM

Problem:The complete pricing in SMT is not devided by access-groups.Every country (access-group) can see and adjust all prices. If we create in Part Pricing a new rule, we can see a coloumn Access Group, but can not change/select a Access Group. Requirement: Every country (access-group) should only see and maintain there pricings

Power Bi Infomation sources

Hello community,In Power BI in the cube IFS_Sales I cannot see the fields Coordinator and Parallel Currency, those fields are in the dimensions Campaign and Company of FACT_CUSTOMER_ORDER_LINES and FACT_CUSTOMER_ORDER_CHARGE (Information sources)So why can not see them in Power BI? but  for e.g in Business reporter I can. Are we not taking the information from the same source?Thanks and best regards,

Fixed Asset with incorrect Acquisition Date

I have a fixed asset that was imported with the incorrect acquisition date and couple of depreciation have already been run. What are my options to correct this? Rollback depreciation and deactivate object and create a new object with correct acquisition date ?

Adjusting Shop Orders for Learning Curve times

 I am working with in aerospace company who is at the moment, very early in the production of their product. As such, they have a heavy learning curve and thus an item may take significantly longer than anticipated. The customer says that there are standards for the learning curve that can be applied per the iteration of the unit being produced. For example, unit 1 may take a learning curve of 3.9 times the operation machine/labor time. Unit 50 may be a learning curve of 1.1 times.Logically, we would affect the operation efficiency on the shop order to reflect the learning curve. However, we do not have the capability of "automatically" adjusting the operation efficiencies as the learning curve has improved.Has anyone ever encountered this and if so, what did you do to accommodate that? Thanks.

Getting error as "You are not authorized to perform this transaction" when trying to save the abesnce.

1. There is employee with ongoing absence: 2. Attempt to update absence to no longer be ongoing: 3. Error message occurs: Could you please advice why we are getting this error. This user is the supervisor of the employee but still cannot perform this action.

Shop Order Message Not Enough Reservations ...

We always manually issue materials on shop orders without reserving them first. We currently have a shop order for which we were able to manually issue the materials. But now when we try to Approve the Operation in the shop floor workbench, we get the error message “There are not enough reservations to issue this amount. Part ##### needs to be Reserved before issue. What is the cause of and or resolution to this error message?  thank you

Import Inventory Part Daily Issues

Another solution architect has a customer who may want to use this feature in their early phase of a project..  However, I have no experience in this feature and the help text is woefully lacking. The help text states:”Inventory part daily issues need to be entered in the import tables” but nowhere can I find any information regarding these issues.Has anyone used this function and what exactly does it do?Thanks in advance!

IP31 - ORA-20105: Invoice.ACCERROR1: Error (The difference in Accounting Currency for the Invoice 202400057 has exceeded the limit .02) occurred while booking Invoice CD 202400057.

Hi,We have a serious issue with a posting that is using IP31 - I don’t know why but it just posts the amount and credit amount to voucher rounding. We effectively have to setup the Company Page here to be a ridiculous difference to allow the the invoice to post or select override on the voucher when processing in customer invoices with errors. Row 14 in the posting below is to 7199 (IP31 defaulted to this code). But it should not need to use this and should be posting to 2442. I don’t understand why the amount and credit amount decide they are better off elsewhere and it doesn’t just post to 2442 alongside the currency amount.Also Currency Amount and amount are the same currency so how is there possibly a difference. This posting then means the GL is out of balance on Currency amount and AmountYou cannot directly update tab accounting_balance_tab with the correct posting_combination_id as posting_combination_id is a primary key to correct the voucher in the Database.Our only solution i

Activity sequence number on projects having no value

Hello to the communityI am trying to transfer to cost accounting the project postings but get the error “activity sequence number must have a value”. Do you by any chance know how i could get a default activity sequence number on my posting lines when the code part “project” depends on posting control and not preposting? The PRJT2 and PRJT6 are setup to have project according to employee category, but no sequence number is mapped on posting line, and the error comes from the fact that it does not have a value; i tried to exclude from project follow up the 2 accounts used in PRJT2/6 but then the project no longer comes from the posting control defined but is the same as preposting. If you have an idea on this matter, would be happy to discuss it with youThanks​​​​​​​Tanya
