I am new to Authorizations in IFS and I am trying to understand exactly how it chooses what rules to apply when routing for approval.  I see that the first step is to add the user to Invoice Posting Authorizers and a Group if needed.  I see that you can assign a Max amount on the Authorizer, but I also see a Authorization Combination Rule that can also be applied.  Which one is used?  I also see that you can apply a Group or User to a Authorization Assigning Rule that you can also assign rules and dollar amounts to the rule.  I don’t understand what each does.Max amount on Posting Authorizers. The following error message appears when trying to install IFS Crystal Web Service.   The server is Windows Server 2022, with IIS 10, all updates through 7/2024 are installed. .NET 4.8 is installed. We are trying to implement some Java code for our IFS Cloud system. The versions of our environment are:Application service update: 23.2.3 Framework service update: 23.2.7 IFS Cloud Web version: 23.2.7.20240605150108.0 IFS OData provider version: 23.2.7.20240605053529.0I set up a remote minikube server and managed to connect my local kubectl with it. I also tried to install it locally, but this is unfortunately not an option. How the authorizations can be delegated to another person in case the main authorizer is on leave?

On the Request Screen, we populate the search criteria and then select Seatch.My question is there an option for the retrieved Requests to be auromatically order descending by created date?  

We are currently in the process of merging UPD 10 to UPD 22 for our customer. While we have successfully completed the UPD extractor step and performed a delivery, we are encountering errors in the EXT files. We are presently working on the UPD analyzer merge.Can someone assist on how to proceed with resolving the EXT file errors? Enclosed are the error screenshot for your reference. 

This is about the supplier material for inter-site orders.Create a PO for part A from site A to site B.Part A has a supplier material B.If I make a shipment of Supplier items on the ‘Ship Supplier Material’ screen, how can I receive the supplier material at site B?It was not possible to do this on screen ‘Receive from Transit’.The supply method is Supplier material, not customer orders.

Hello,This is my first time at adding a custom page in IFS but I’m encountering an issue.I built a custom page that is fully set up with a custom projection and custom entity. It behaves exactly as expected and desired in the application config>custom pages section of IFS Cloud. It’s also fully deployed.When I add it to the navigator, using the same CustomerPriceMatrixPage, it comes up with 404 page not found.The navigation properties are probably incorrect, as I’ve seen the client default to ‘MpccomNavigator’ but the same result occurs when that is set

I created IAL Object and tried to use in IFS-BR. Not sure why my parameter (img.4) does not get displayed as a dropdownlist field where users can select available values instead of inputting values. 

Hello, I’m in 23R1 and seeing some unexpected behaviour with MS Level 1 parts when I run Site level MRP. I have 20 Manufactured parts that are MS Level 1 parts. Create S/P is set to create S/P Entire Horizon and when I run the MS calculation, everything works as I expect and Shop Order Requisitions are generated. If I then run selective MRP based on the Planner these parts share, the demand flows down and MRP generates Purchase Requisitions for the component parts. However, if I run MRP for the entire Site, MRP generates a handful of Shop Orders for the MS Level 1 parts. I did some investigating and this seems to happen if the on-hand quantity is below the safety stock. If I Re-Run MS after this, the MRP generated requisitions are then deleted. Is this a bug? The parts are top-level sales parts and not in any other structures.  Requisitions Generated by both MS & MR

Hi All, I’m interested in the ‘best practice’ way to use Shop Order Auto Processing for MS Level 1 parts. I’m in 23R1. I have a set-up where we use Auto Processing to covert the MS generated SORs within the PTF. This is because we have several routing alternates for each SO and the planners are working from the Visual Capacity Planning Screen to ensure all work centers are fully utilized. The planners resolve the overloads primarily by changing the routing alternate, so need to work with SOs rather than SORs. The work centers have different costs, speeds & resource shares, so we moved away from using multiple resources in one work center. The Auto Processing job works great most of the time and saves a lots of clicks. However, I hadn’t realized if for any reason the Shop Order needs to be deleted/cancelled, the original SOR remains in place and still shows as planned supply. Referencing this post from 3 years past:   Since it's been three years since this post was made, has IFS introduced a link between the original drop-off task and the forward to task? In other words, basically, within IFS today, on the second transport task is there's a reference number to the original task?

We want to use “Send Full XML to Connect” as a Report Rule and need the initial selected Printer as a Variable in the XML. I started with this setting:It seems that it is not possible (23R2) to use Substitution variables here.In the Documentation I found:[#RoutingPrinter] Only when using the action Print to Logical Printer  How can that be used?  I am grateful for all possible solutions.

I am looking for a way to associate a region to a person. I thought I could use the scheduling resources on the region details page. But there is nothing on the tab that allows me to add resources. How do I add scheduling resources to add to the region details tab Scheduling Resources? From what I read, scheduling resources are created at Service => Scheduling => Basic Data => Scheduling Basic Data => Scheduling Resources. However, I don’t have that menu option in my navigator. Do you know why that would be? Is there another way to associate a resource to a region or a person to a region? Thank you for your help!

We are working with a customer upgrading from Apps 10 to Cloud. I notice that in the report definitions the crystal rpt files are not assigned against the report definitions, other than manually uploading the files for each definition and report is there a quicker way of matching the rpt files with their definitions?

Hi,I have a question regarding history log in IFS Cloud (24.1.0)I tried to change manually the resource allocated on a Request Work Task. I did this in the Request Work Task Scheduling and Allocation - Assign Work - Allocations page. I deleted the existing resource and added a new resource.The change appears in my history log but unfortunately my user does not appear. It appears as if my colleague did it. This is the only change I make and it doesn't appear that I did it. For the other changes, my user appears.Do you have any idea what would be the problem and what could I do so that my user appears on this change?Thank you in advance.Kind Regards, Miruna
