Hello IFS community,I have a couple of custom fields to move to an RDL, but when I move them to the layout page, they do not print in the PDF.I am running IFS Report Designer 200.2.0001 and am connected to the database that contains the custom fields.I refreshed the cache, and the custom fields appear on the IFS page and populate data, which means the custom fields are working correctly.You can see the custom fields and their location on the report layout (Screenshot below) . I saved the changes, after when I try to run the report, it does not display the email and phone information. I have them highlighted in yellow color (See Screenshot below)Here is the PDF part. It does not display the data.Any idea why the custom fields do not display?

Hi All,I have a concern regarding the functionality of B2B customer orders and would appreciate your insights.Scenario:The user logs into the B2B portal and selects a product from the catalog. They enter the required quantity and submit the order. Upon submission, the order is created in IFS.Currently, the B2B portal does not provide an option to select a site or not visible it. Instead, when the order is created in IFS, the system automatically assigns the user's default site.Concern:This restriction to the default site limits flexibility, as users sometimes need to place orders from different sites. However, due to the current setup, they are unable to do so.Could you clarify the reasoning behind this functionality? Additionally, is there a possible workaround or enhancement to allow site selection at the order creation stage?Looking forward to your thoughts.

Hey,I am looking for whether an existing PLSQL Package exists with a method that’d help me in the following case:In an IFS Cloud Install, IFS Managed Cloud Deployment, Document Management using Azure File Storage rather than Database.Imagine a use case where within a PLSQL Procedure I need to retrieve the data contents of the File as BLOB/CLOB, in order to then be able to use it in the backend for other purposes (send mail, application message, etc.).Is there a known API Method you guys know about that I can use, passing the document keys (doc no, doc class, doc rev, doc sheet, etc.) as parameters, and retrieving the Azure File Storage hosted file data contents as CLOB/BLOB ?Tried to look in EDM_FILE_API, EDM_FILE_LOCATION_API but couldn’t really find anything in there. There’s Get_File_Data in EDM_FILE_STORAGE_API but that seems dedicated to database hosted documents rather than Azure FS.Thank you !

I’m working with a manufacturing company and up until this point we’ve only used master part, inventory part, and purchase part records. We’ve recently begun using shop orders and were asked to look at Engineering Part Revisions, and I’d like some help understanding what the relationship is between Product Structures and Engineering Part Revisions (specifically, the Consist Of tab). Based on what I’m seeing in the documentation, it seems like parts on the Consist Of tab of the Engineering Part Revisions screen should appear on the Product Structure. Here’s the quote that’s giving me that idea:Use this tab window to view and change part structures. A part can consist of other parts. An assembly of a top-level part (parent) with one or more lower-level parts (subparts or child parts) is called a structure. I’M TRYING TO CLOSE ACCOUNTNIG PERIOD FEB-2023, BUT SYSTEM RAISED THE BELOW ERROR. 

Hello,I'm trying to enable incremental refresh for FACT_GL_TRANSACTION, but I need to complete the initial refresh first. The dataset is quite large—refreshing accounting year (a full refresh using a criteria) 2024 alone takes around 15 hours. However, I'm unable to refresh the entire dataset. Once 2024 is fully refreshed the entity info says its no FRESH, attempting to refresh 2023 or any other year with entity criteria does not work. Any idea why?

I’ve prepared a new context.  Using the Configuration Context Mapping I’ve set up the following condition:I made a change in the new context towards ServiceEngApp (MyWorks card).I have logged off, logged on as IFSAPP on mWO, synchronized, initialized.As IFSAPP I don’t see any changes. The layout falls back on global context.Anyone an idea if IFSAPP is treated differently and is not handled via the context mapping?Regards,Steve

Hi all,IFSAPP 10 upd 14.We have a background routine that sends out customer statements on preview like many however there are some customers that the report pop up box does not open. It just runs the job and send the email.Typically this is “fixed” by changing the output media on customer record which then allows the preview. This is a tedious thing to do when you want to just preview it.I understand its automation in mind but i do not understand why some customers get the preview box and others don't even though both have an AR contact and an Email comm method?Is there a tick box for previewing on some customers?ThanksDan 

Currently in IFS Apps 10 we have multiple users that have search functions which sort the results via multiple criteria, an example of this is below,The above will show the user the stock of the entered part number in all the locations on site, the results will be ordered by the Location in ascending order and then by LOT number in ascending order, aiding the user to see the oldest LOT first.  The results would be then sorted in the format below   I am unable to find a way to perform this in IFS Cloud 24R2, I only seem to have the option to sort by a single column, are there any work arounds that will resolve this issue or is this function addition with in the roadmap?

Hello everyone,I have a query from a customer and would appreciate your guidance on how to handle the following situation:A transport task was created for 10 pcs to be delivered to a specific location. Once the transport task was performed and the status was changed to Executed, only 9 pcs were needed at the destination. The remaining 1 pc is still in transit, even though the transport task is marked as Executed.The customer would like to return this remaining part to inventory. Could you please advise on the best way to resolve this and update the system accordingly?

Hi IFS community,  have a client where there is a request to automatically force the users to relogin after there is a deployment done. I know there are 2 app parameters that related to this : CLIENT_TIMEOUT and SESSION_TIMEOUT but these parameters are not automatically forcing the users to timeout in the WebClient version.The IFS Release on FSM is Release: 6 Update 29Release: 6 Update 29. Have also found a perform message that works in FSM Smart Client version but not in WebClient: <perform_logout_person>  <parameters>    <person_id> @person_id </person_id>  </parameters></perform_logout_person> So, does anyone know of a way to force a user to logout or relogin after we perform a deployment on an environment? Thanks!

Create a disposition shop order through CAMRO process.Go across the shop order > issue the material and report the operations.Add a disposition line> add disposition code to scrap keep demand.> proceed to approve the line   Observe the inventory part in stock for the relevant part that consist of company owned and customer owned parts. Go to the Assembly shop order and observe the material ownership status.  Go to visual shop order planning > observe that there is no data under material 7.If I change the ownership of the material from customer owned to company owned, it is visible the material in visual shop order planning.    when we need to use the MRP and visual shop order shop order control planning for the customer owned part system doesn’t allowing.please consider to include this feature in a future release.

Hi,we are looking into upgrading from IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud, however, I cannot find any information if the IFS Retail extension component (RETWHO) is available for IFS Cloud.Is there anything available already now or is it part of the Cloud roadmap?

Hi all, Can you help out how to set-up these configuration settings? We have Configurable sales part A, manufactured Sales part A can consist of B1, B2 and/or B3, depending on what is choosen. We never have B1, B2 or B3 on stock. B1 consist of C1.1, C1.2 and C1.3B2 consists of D2.1 and D2.1B3 consist of E1 B1, B2 and B3 will always be manufactured when its needed for a configuration. We don’t have stock of these.Cx, Dx and Ex will always be on stock. We have a safety stock of these, so we can manufacture them in advance using shop order reqs from MRP. Let’s say I run the configurator, and a DOP gets created. In that DOP, after release, I want to see the shop order to create Top Part A, shop orders to make B1 and B2, and a reservation for C and D components. Is it enough playing with the netting parameter on the inventory parts? Should I use supply setting DOP for more than the top part? Thanks!
