In a Risk Analysis I want to use tab Object Connection to connect the Analysis to a serial object. For that I prepared the following object connection, as the serial object was not available in the dropdown to make an object connection to:Figure 1 - Object ConnectionWith this I was at least able to select the equipment serial from the dropdown in the new object connection. However, I noticed that there is no further functionality, one has to include the complete key in the reference field:Figure 2 - No dropdown on Object KeyFor a work order it works nice and we see that reflected. We have an access permission problem when converting a “Shop Order Requisition” to a “Shop Order” via the function “Create Shop Order(s)”.  Normally we can quickly find the missing projection by using the log window in debug mode.But in this case, the log does not show any missing projection in the log files (The projection “ShopOrderRequisitionHandling” is already fully granted). What could be the reason for this and how can we find the missing projection(s)? 

Hello, I am need to build a validation business rule that acts based on who is preforming the action.I understand that in the I can place static values in the ‘expression’ area pointed at “user_login_id” but it appears that MUST be a static value validate against I would like to validate that against the view “direct_NPU_alter_auth_VW” that returns a list of person_id’s and a YorN field if they are authorized.   But it appears this is non functional. I have tried : “user_log_in.person_id = direct_NPU_alter_auth_VW.person_id and direct_NPU_alter_auth_VW.Bill_NB = ‘N’” but it does not work.. Can you help me with this logic? Best regards,Dan

I have created a new custom form in IFS 10 UPD 3 and I can query for records.  When it returns multiple records, I get the standard drop down arrow to allow me to choose the record I want.  Is there a way to change the information that appears in the drop down list for me to choose records?

Hello all,We want to use the supplier calendar to reflect the impact of Chinese New Year in the planning leadtime. But for some reason I cannot seem to let it work. The steps taken so far:Created calendar; Entered exceptions to the calendar (start of CNY + start up time); Generated the calendar; Added the calendar to the supplier; Run Calculate Purchase Leadtime.I would expect the expected leadtime in the inventory part would be updated. But I do not see a change. Is the correct way to set it up? Any idea's, tips and tricks are highly appreciated.

Hi Team,We have set up a supplier with 2 EFT payment methodEFT 1(address id 1) using one bank accountEFT 2 (address id 2) using 2nd bank account.When we save the Eft method system is forcing to set up one as default payment method, and it is using the default payment bank details in the payment proposal.We want to know if there is a way, we don’t tick the EFT default option and have the option to choose the bank account we like to use.Thanks in advanceSneha

Hello everyone,When a pool activity is accepted in MWO, a new window opens where the MWO user can specify the date and time. However, our customer would prefer that the previously planned start date, as entered in IFS Cloud, is displayed automatically, so the user doesn't have to input it manually.Is this technically possible?We tried adding new fields using the Page Designer, but these fields don't appear in the selection list, so we can't add them. Thank you!

Hi, We have an object that had an engine change out in May when the Engine Hours was at 16050. The before meter change had a Recorded value of 16050 and a Total Value of 16050. The after Meter Change had a recorded value of 0 and a total value of 16050There are 2 readings flagged as incorrect on July 4 and and then on August 14 the recorded reading shows 0 with a Total value of 16050.Aug 16 Recorded reading is 48 - Total Value of 16098Aug 19 Recorded reading is 61 - Total value of 16111  Aug 27 recorded reading is 95.7 - total value of 16145.7...additional recorded readings up until Sept 16 where it looks like the user recorded an Engine fail.Sept 16 recorded reading is 246 - total  16296Sept 16 Before Meter change recorded reading is 246 - total  16296After Meter Change  rec

Hello, I want to create 3 new fields on the master part.Field 1 will be a list of values which I will create in an enumeration.What I would like to do is only display the values in field 2 depending on the value selected in field 1.Also, the values listed in field 3 depends on the values in field 2. How do I go about creating the links for field 2 and field 3 please. Thanks

Hi Experts,In work order functional area (before request management work stream), it is possible to generate invoice previews in bulk using ‘generate invoice preview’. It is not clear if this functionality available for request management area as well. If i check the navigator(24R1) i can see two entries, but none of them generate invoice previews for requests i have which are qualified and i can generate invoice previews for same records manually. A customer just upgraded from 23R1 to 24R1 and during an audit of Oracle accounts and there was one account that was questioned, DOCMAN_ESIGN_USER. I cannot find any information on this account in our technical documentation. It appears to have been created by 24R1.  It sounds like it would be connected to new Digital Signatures functionality, but there is no info on it.What should i recommend my customer to do with this account? What is it used for?

Hi,I have a question regarding best use of the IFS environments. Where are people doing configuration changes? eg. Lobby (Data Source/Elements/Pages) and Quick reports.  These activities require data. The DEV environment in Build Place which generally has a short life span does not hold data.  Are people repetitively populating DEV with data to facilitate report development or are people using a Use Place environment? eg. CFGGrateful for responses on how people are splitting their development activities in real world scenarios.Thanks

Hello, In IFS Applications 10 there was a Leadtime Auto option on Supplier for Purchase Part. I am currently working in a IFS Cloud 24R1 environment and can’t find this option, has it been moved somewhere else or is this functionality not available in IFS Cloud?BRSebastian
