Hi All,I am facing  an issue with resource preference data  in PSO dataset . we have one dataset in FSM and mapped only one team under this dataset in team table. while loading dataset from FSM to PSO  getting error in events like bulk resource insertion failed ,To check this issue verified audit file and identified unnecessary resource preferences added in the loaded dataset irrespective of team associated to the dataset. I was not able to identify why other team resources preferences were  loading in this dataset which are not belongs to dataset team.Could you pleas help me to stop sending unnecessary resource preference to  the dataset. Thanks,Durga

Dear all, I am trying to understand the logic of the supplier offest proposal. IFS offers 5 options to offset the open items.First question is how does IFS knows which invoices should be offset with which SUPOA. Is it just the amounts?  Here are my results from my testing's, with regards to the options.Match all open items. This is only working, if I enter an extra ordinary “Allowed Difference” amount. Match Single Debit and Credit item: IFS matches the amounts regarding the amounts. Fine for me, that is the way how it supposed to be. Match Single Debit with more credit items: Fine for me, that is the way how it supposed to be. Same as number 2. Hi All, I’m trying to change the passwords for IFSADMIN and IFSPRINT via the installer so I can get the encrypted passwords to pass on to Crystal Reports. The error message I’m getting is;Password validation: ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied.I’ve already successfully done this in the development environment (both environments had the same passwords).I know I’m connecting to the correct environment as I’m getting a different error if the account is locked. The old password is also correct, as I get a different error if I put it in incorrectly and I’ve verified it by connecting to the database. Both IFSADMIN and IFSPRINT accounts give the same error message when trying to change.The Oracle error is somewhat generic and I haven’t been able to chase down the cause and find a solution.  

Hi,When we handle customer invoices where the customer has gone bankrupt, we currently use a write-off code.In a mixed payment, the remaining unpaid invoices are retrieved and written off against the write-off code. The write-off code is directed to an expense account—the site and cost center are set to fixed values. This means that all bankruptcies need to be manually reposted to the correct site and cost center.We want the write-off to be posted in the same way as the invoice, i.e., to the same site and cost center that the sales were posted to. In the posting controls, I can't find an option that meets the finance department's request. Has anybody been able to solve this issue?

In IFSv10, do setup and factor unit “hours” costs distribute based on the quantity quoted or based on the standard lot size from the inventory part or part cost record?  In IFSv7.5, we had issues with it based on the quotation even though we manufacture in a higher lot size.  Is there a way to base all interim cost calculations based on a standard lot size to avoid cost variation for the same part? It looks like a new field was added in part cost/part cost details called Standard sales quantity.  How is this used? Thank you,John

When I am trying to add a credit card transaction in foreign currency to an expense sheet I receive an error message “ORA-20110: You are not allowed to modify details of an expense connected to a credit card transaction”.When I try the same but in an accounting currency I am not receiving such error.Does anyone know why?IFSAPP10 UPD22

I'm trying to move parts from Bay 12 to Bay 13 using the Transport Task, with my Drop-Off Location currently attached to Bay 12. However, the functionality doesn't work when the Drop-Off Location is connected to Bay 12. It only works when I connect the Drop-Off Location to Bay 13. Is this a limitation of the Drop-Off Location functionality?

Does the functionality exist that would allow us to remove all DOP netted demand against part numbers?  We are about to undertake our stock take and always experience a problem where we are unable to adjust the inventory quantity if there are reservation quantities greater than the counted quantity.  I want to be able to remove all DOP netted demand prior to us counting.

I would like to implement adding a user to the company by starting the BPMN process automatically as soon as the user login is created in IFS Cloud.Perhaps someone has tried to implement such a design with positive results?

I have a customer who has a setup like this. There is an accountant employed in company A who wants to report a cost on a project in company B. They have created MCPR Employee link for this accountant where company A is the employee company and company B is the customer company (dummy employee link is created). However, they haven’t created any MCPR Activity links between these 2 companies. Project only exists in company B. (let’s call this Project B)Is there a way for this accountant to report costs correctly in Project B without having an MCPR link to a project in company A? I know this is not a correct setup that they have, but just wondering if there is a way to accommodate this requirement. 

When you receive a shop order, what is the calculation behind the scenes regarding check on the amount of material issued. I currently have the following scenario: Shop Order Lot Size = 10Material AQty per Assembly = 1Qty Req Excl Planned Scrap = 10Scrap Factor = 20%Qty Required = 13Qty Issued = 13 Despite the lot size being 10, I can over-report to 13. However, let’s say we increase the lot size to 11. I now have: Shop Order Lot Size = 11Material AQty per Assembly = 1Qty Req Excl Planned Scrap = 13Scrap Factor = 20%Qty Required = 14Qty Issued = 13 For some reason in this scenario, I can only report upto 10pcs. Reporting any more results in error message ‘Not enough components issued to receive this quantity’. Assuming I’m missing something, but I cannot see how I can report 13 in the first instance, but then only 10 in the second, despite the Qty per Assembly and Qty Issued not changing?

Hi All,  I am planning a work order on an equipment object with an associated manufacturing work order.  My WO has an Obstructive Operation status and I am warned that the Work Task may interfere with planned Shop Orders.  I can see that the correct work centre is listed in the prepare tab.  I have shop order operations planned for the same time as the planned dates in the Work Order.   I cannot seem to see the planned load on the Work Centre where it shows that a Work Order is planned to be executed.  Is anyone able to point me in the right direction as to what I may be missing?

A customer is having an issue with Automatic Putaway for Inventory held in a Handling Unit. Using IFS  Apps 10. Automatic Refill is selected on the Warehouse. Stock is sitting in a HU in an Inventory Location that isn’t part of the Putaway Zone set up on the Part. Background Job is being generated to auto refill but no Transport Task is being generated (no message on the background job but assume due to the same issue as noted in the next paragraph). When manually trying to Perform Putaway on the IPIS screen, an information message is confirming that no putaway location could be found for the stock being held in the current location. However, when manually Performing Putaway on the Handling Units in Stock screen for the same stock, a Transport Task is being successfully generated and all details are correct.What is the reason that the auto-refill is not successfully generating? Surely Auto Refill of Putaway Zones will work with Stock held in Handling Units? There is nothing in IFS Help

Hello, Does anyone have a solution for how to set up a block that prevents a user from accidentally creating a counting report of all the system's inventory parts? If you run the "Create Count Report" wizard, no filters are pre-filled and you click OK immediately, a report is created on all inventory parts for you primary site. Thanks,Johan

Hello,We are trying to configure a custom projections and a custom page for the standard LU ‘EmpSalaryInfo’. However, after adding a simple list to the page, it throws below error message, It seems like a bug, as the same error message is consistently thrown across all environments running versions 23R1, 23R2, and 24R1.Has anyone seen this issue before?
